If someone is interested on buying a used perfecto, keep in mind that Schott has changed sizes. So, size 38 on 613 wouldn’t fit to this guy, been 183cm tall. It would be too small.
according to what i read on The Fedora lounge Schott forum, nowdays jackets have a fuller fit, old have a smaller cut. Anyway as he says the 118 is brand new.

Your 613 is a cool fit for the bodycon 'Ramones' look. The 118 looks a bit more casual for everyday use. Both work fine and I wouldn't know which you were wearing.

Great video! The 118 looks boss! The 613 looks good too, but is a little too 'slim fit' for my particular taste, (although I know that's exactly how they're supposed to be).
I'm an inch shorter than you and a little bit slimmer, so I think the 38 inch 118 would be best for me too, although that does surprise me as I've always considered myself a medium.
On second thoughts, I think I'll leave it. Checking the prices on the Schott website, it'd set me back £747!! 😵💫 I think I'll have to learn to do without the genuine article! 😥
@@TheRowlandstone73 i purchased today a genuine 1988 618 like the one i got new in '88. get a vintage one. thay are more affordable and much better under many aspects: impermeable shiny coat, thicker leather and better cut, i call it a great deal. made when it was a rebellious youth symbol instead of the toy for spoiled kids it has become today.

If you've never tried on the 118L, you might be surprised. I think it might actually fit you better considering your height. You are more muscular and weigh about 10 pounds more than me. But we are similar in build. I just ordered a 118 in 36 and 118L in 36. I could wear either one. But for a riding jacket the LONG version is better. When sitting on my bike the LONG version does not ride up my back at all. And the sleeves stay right at the wrist. They do not pull back. Both jackets have a little bit too much room in the middle since I am so skinny. But the LONG version is more tapered at the bottom. With the belt it stays in place.
I need my hair back. Had it long for ages until someone talked me into donating it. Pshh.

613 is 38 but my right size is 40 the 118 is 38 and it is perfect because is like a size 40 613

If you want punck rock style do as me with 613 38 if you want much confort get the size more or the 118
@@FabryRock Thanks, good advice... This applies to me, too! Trying to decide. I think I would be 36 in 618/613 and 34 (!) in 118. I'm a little smaller than you. You must be more muscly than me, or maybe I have smaller bones. I might be a little shorter and weigh a little less.

Hy Fabry! Are these jackets true to size or you bought smaller or bigger than usual? I've just received my 618 size 42 and it fits terrible... I'm thinking to change to size 40. By the way all my other jackets are size 42 and they fit much better. I've watched your video before I bought and I was expecting the same fit.

I'm a short guy.. Only 5,38 ft tall with medium build. As i saw 613 is a short jackets, i think it would fit on me, but i want to know your honest opinion. Thank you for the video.

Yes the 613 is very short model because is a motorcycle jacket and it’s made to give the best comfort while riding motorcycle
You can get a 613 for sure and the size you gotta choose depend on your body shape ... maybe a 38 or a 36 If you are very skinny

So get the 118 your true size it will be perfect ... it is a motorcycle jacket the best ! If you get a 613 it will be little bit colder because is shorter

Se ti piace la vestibilita’ più corta vai sul 618 o 613 però la pelle se lo prendi nuovo è davvero dura, ma una volta che ha preso la tua forma diventa fatta su misura

Se tu hai la 46 ita prendi le 36 del 618/613 o per il 118 vai della taglia sotto al 36 ma il 118’non vestirà mai come il 613/618 perché il pellame è diverso e il taglio e’ più corto e aderente

Hello there. Could you help me? Im 1,85 and weight 67 KG chest size is 34 or 34 and a half. What would be ideal for me to be able to wear with hoodies but also look good on me generally, with t-shirts also. Im worried about the sleeve length

Of the two the 118 fits better.
Those sizes look a bit too small for you, I think you should go 1 size up but nonetheless great comparison video.

I have two vintage Wilson biker leather jackets. I've wore Wilson's leather since teenager and they're affordable off ebay. Hope that Schott Perfecto leather jacket works out for you. Cheers!
