Such a cool knife. They got them back in stock, so ordered the 112 and the 110!!! will be here tomorrow!! I love the clip point. But just have to have the drop point in nickel silver for the collection.

@@bigjsknives they had the 110 in 420hc but no nail nick on it. (Im sure yah can open it juat fine without but looks funny to me) Besides got free shipping and found another 20% off code so great deal!! Almost ordered a custom 110 but the possibilities scrammbled my brain!!😂 Been wanting a this 112 ever since this vid and boston showing his. Also the prices of newer case knives has gone up so much these are incredible for the money! Hope I got a descent blade grind!

That is an amazing deal! I think i like it more that the 112 sport! I realize its heavier. But in that steel? Great knife. That blade shape is coming around to me. I agree better tip strength. Love the nickle silver on this knife! Thank you for sharing! Sunday should work for me!

That is one beautiful knife! I finally figured out what knife I had and lost years ago. It was a 500 Duke. If I can't find a used one for a reasonable price I am going to get the same 112 that you have. It's bot as rounded but close enough.
They have the 500 Duke on bucks website now for $80. This one is a hell of a knife as well! Thanks Ken!!
@@bigjsknives Just purchased the 500 duke. I thought that they were discontinued. It was about 30 years ago that I lost mine working on a farm.

@bigjsknives Thanks for the info! The Buck 110 was my first really good knife. The 500 was my second because it was better in the pocket. That knife has been bugging me since the late 80's when I lost it!

My girl grabbed me the limited 50th anniversary , Ni/Slvr, Ebony ,s30v clip point for my B-day. came with Swade sheath, excellent craftsmanship. They laser etch because the S30v is to hard in the dies apparently.

They don’t “stamp” the tang ever on anything greater than 420 steel, only laser etch. I bought all four droppoint web exclusive offerings several months. I obviously avoided shipping charges :)

I will not talk bad about the drop point. But it is so much bull when you you tubers claim that the clip point is fragile. I've carried a buck 110 since the early 1980's and i have used it as a tool and a knife. It is anything but fragile.
Drop point is fragile??? I'd say it's not fragile at all on this blade. I have repaired quite a few clip points that have broken off tho. I'd call myself a gym rat knife guy before i claim that i'm a TH-camr...
@@bigjsknives i corrected my error. But i stand by my statement. The clip point of all my knives have been through wood and bone. And never failed me.
@@davidstrickler6570 That's awesome and goes to show that Buck has a great heat treat. I Stand by My Statement that i've repaired a few in my day. People using them as screw drivers, dropping them on concrete, prying.. It does happen, again i'm a gym rat knife nut way before a youtuber. It's nice to think that people assume I have no idea or experience in the knife world tho!! Keeps me frosty!!! Have a great day out there trolling around!!
