- The 2023 BMW X5 sees an update to this luxury SUV via a Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) and loses its third row of seats along with air suspension, which makes way for M-Sport suspension. Going up against other full size SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Porsche Cayenne, and Audi Q7, the BMW X5 features a 3.0 litre turbocharged inline 6 engine that is mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission with all wheel drive. The X5 offers a high quality drive with luxurious fittings, and features include wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Lane Departure Warning, Gesture Controls, and a Multi-function Steering Wheel.

Where is the panaromic sunroof? I thought all base X5 comes with that?
That’s a good question. The new X5 does not have one. In fact, it would seem that most BMW models in Singapore no longer come with a panoramic roof or sunroof. It’s been like this for the past year. Not entirely sure why, but I think it’s just how BMW Asia has decided to spec the car for Singapore to keep prices (OMV) in check.
