Walk around the wall at York City UK. About 2 3/4 miles

This is a slideshow of a walk around the wall at York. It's about 2 and 3/4 miles in distance. It was made with images I have taken from an interactive CD I made in 1999 which allows the user to walk anywhere in the streets of York inside the Wall and around the wall itself.

A dream way to see York - but be careful to look where you are going! There are only limited barriers and people are busy looking at the sites and fall off!

York's Walls are actually two miles long, not 2 and 3/4 miles as stated. Easy to walk in just over an hour, but why rush it - stop and have a look at all the wonderful historic sights along the way.

Sorry you are wrong they are 2 miles. Many authoritative books and documents say the same - 2 miles.
