I've been wanting to get one of these full face snorkel masks for awhile. I am an avid outdoor adventurer. One of my favorite things to do is go swimming and since I wear contacts I always bring some kind of eye protection. I've used many kinds of snorkel sets but they get foggy on me and the standard snorkels can be annoying to deal with when the snorkel bit is flopping around on my head, yanking my hair, I have to bite down on it to keep it in my mouth, or I have to blow to push the water out so I can breath again.
One of my favorite things to do is to swim underwater in natural environments like lakes and creeks to observe what kind of things I can see. So I took this mask for a trial swim in the creek behind our house. I could see the rocks and Caddis bugs very clearly. I even saw a little baby salmon. :)
The full face mask design is great. The air valve will shut off once you go underwater and only takes a few seconds once you come back up to clear the water so you can breath again. It provides me with a wide range of view to see. It did not get foggy for awhile because it keeps your eyes and mouth in different chambers. I did accidentally get water in the mask while using it. The water will drain out of the eye viewing chamber into the mouth chamber where the drain spouts are and then out of the bottom of the mouth area. It does leave a little water in the sides of the mask around the mouth chamber but not in a way that will affect your vision. The water doesn't clear out of there unless you take it off and shake it out. It got a bit foggy on me after getting the water in. I took it off shook it out, dried my face and mask. No more fogging. I would suggest putting it on dry or drying it out to keep from getting foggy. I added a video to show the water draining from the vents.
