    Hi Ranjan
an older member of my family mentioned that for permitted development you still need planning permission. Can you shed some light on this and whether this is true or not ?

You don’t need planning permission but you do need to submit a prior approval application. This is a far more simpler and certain process with an answer in 56 days. There are only a few reasons why the Council may reject an application which is why its a much more certain process

Ok understood but wouldn’t you need to inform building regulation team In council even if work is allowed through permitted development. Let me know ASAP please...

Hi ranjan how do you know a property has permitted development? Is there a place to check when looking at a property?
