Sasori had 300 shinobi dead bodies which were weaponized..fully UNDER HIS COMMAND And the way he described ..that he prepared each of them...Cutting up the bodies..draining the blood out..removing the organs..and then setting up them with weapons..YES.. THIS SHOW HAS BECOME A BIT DARK

However, in episode 26, they decided to throw in some extra flair. Right before she punches Sasori after grabbing him by his rope, she says "Get Over Here!". It's one of the best lines of the entirety of Naruto as it's referencing Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. What makes this even better is that Sasori means Scorpion in Japanese. That's why a red scorpion is tagged on Kankuro's puppets, because he created them. It's an amazing easter egg.
Something interesting that I'm not sure anyone mentioned, do you remember the earlier few episodes when they were fighting Itachi? Kakashi told Itachi "your eyesight is getting worse", Itachi felt shocked and asked "Could it be..." At that time Itachi guessed Kakashi had already awakened the Mangekyo sharingan, so Kakashi knew the damage to eyes of using the Mangekyo, this might be important. In the Original Naruto, Itachi always looks weak after he uses his eyes. By the way, Tobi is a really amazing character, I think you're going to love him, can't wait for you to keeping watching!!!!

Every character in this fight is extremely underrated Everyone calls Sasori one of the weakest Akatsuki members when 90% of the cast wouldn't be able to do anything about his poison Chiyo puppet skills are extraordinary and had the strength to take down a Nation Not to mention she had a reanimation justu that fully revives someone permanently And Do I need to even get Started on how many people underestimate Sakura She was essential in this fight and to say otherwise is foolishness

Sakura only had help from Chiyo in the beginning of the fight. Chiyo half helped her in the mid, with one arm. It was all Sakura during the 10 vs 100 fight, and Sasori fight. Sakura used her evading skills she learned from Tsunade, and came out on top as the Victor. Sakura is amazing here, and im glad they started the show off with an arc where we got to see her shine.
Fun fact: in the English dub, When Sakura yanks Sasori by the cable to save granny Chio, she yells "GET OVER HERE!!" like Scorpion from MK and I think it's dope because 1. the VA did a great job for that line and 2. because Sasori is Japanese for "scorpion"

i like how she grow up in naruto She was a little plague that grew up into a brave young girl, but her treatment in shipuden and 100,000 times better even though it has backdrops that I don’t like, but I love the character of sakura.
RIP Granny Chiyo, she gave her life for the sake of a better future, a future where people regardless of their village, caring about each other, rather than killing each other for trivial reasons. and after helping put down her own grandchild, she feels she's lived far too long.
Its crazy how even after watching these arcs before, when I rewatch the Zabuza arc and this one I still cry for the death scenes, and I rarely cry these days. I think what makes both of those scenes so emotional is that a character who is arguably cold and heartless experiences emotions and changes in their final moments to do something heroic. In this case, Naruto telling her to shut up with tears streaming down his face, calling out the previous generation for ruining Gaara's life (and his), saying "why is it always Gaara?" (Naruto has been lucky, but Gaara has been unlucky), "I can't save Sasuke, and I can't save Gaara either," bro, that slays me every time. Also, when Gaara and the other characters stop to show respect for Chiyo like to pray for her or carry her body into the village before Gaara enters, that gets the waterworks flowing. Like Temari said, she didn't give a shit about the village or its future let alone anybody else, yet after being with Naruto for a few days, she was willing to sacrifice her life for others. I think a big part of it too is that she grew up during the days of war between the Leaf and the Sand villages, so even after they became allies, she still can't let go of the old mindset, especially after Kakashi's dad killed Sasori's parents in the war. I think that's why she said the future will be better, because she sees how the next generation have overcome the cycle of hate, the Leaf ninja care more for Gaara, the leader of the Sand village, more than she ever did. For the first time, she's able to let go of the past, and see that its possible for things to change for the better.

You know, somehow I never realized on my own why Sasori didn't dodge the attack until now. Before going for the kill of Granny, he hesitated because she was the only relative left after losing his parents (the anime enforces this by showing an image of him with his parents before Granny's trap). His exchange with Sakura is all projection as he did care even if it was just a little (enough to hesitate).
He mocks them for "doing something pointless" perhaps that's a characteristic in humans that he views as a defect, one that puppets don't share, he tried, but failed to become a puppet (a reverse Pinocchio), because he still has a human heart. In his last moments he had a chance to dodge an attack, but choose not to, and said "now I will do something pointless too", proof that despite everything he was still human too. Maybe he couldn't bear to kill his grandma who raised him, maybe he saw his parents moving towards him (as if to hug him) and yearned for their embrace too much to evade them. Unlike Deidara, his philosophy as an "artist" was that eternal beauty was the highest good, which is why he was obsessed with puppets that retain the same form forever, unchanging, but his human heart had likely become weary of this bleak existence, fighting, killing, making puppets, on and on, for what? Why was he alive? Maybe he was sick of his lifestyle, wanted to experience something new, or yearned for human emotion/connection.

For example, multiple shadow clones are a forbidden justu not because it is an incredibly powerful technique, but because it consumes an exorbitant amount of chakra and most people will simply die after spending all their chakra trying to use it.

All Akatsuki duo has his own philosophy, this one was Art philosophy. One of them thinking art is something eternal, like Sasori mantaining the body's "alive" making them puppets, and then Deidara, making "explosions", that are some kinda a "great short time event", his art is not eternal but espontaneum. I love that things. Also Deidara is from the Land of Earth, from the Hidden Village of the Rock, so his kekkei genkai "clay" is based on the earth. That's why he escaped and apeared on the ground, he can use doton(earth style). Kakashi copied a long ago in some fight with a rock village ninja that jutsu he used on the bells training grabbing Sasuke's feet under the ground.

Someone in the chat saying "for some reason Shadow Clones are forbidden jutsu". They are forbidden for the same reason that the reanimation jutsu is forbidden. It can KILL the user. The only users of Shadow Clones are users with large chakra reserves. Naruto was able to do it as a child and produce more than a few clones. That shows just how overpowered Naruto is. If someone else had done it: The chakra drain might have just killed them instead.

Good thing Granny had Naruto there and good for Gaara, Uzumaki Clan are basically chakra batteries and are used for many things based on there blood and chakra. It's not just the scrolls they are good at.
The first few moves made in the weapon fight between the puppets made in the image of Sasori's parents and the Kazekage puppet were DBZ-style slo-mo to give the audience a clear idea of the kind of hand-and-finger movements the puppeteers were making and how they corresponded to the puppets' actions. Then the super fast movement is how fast they were actually doing it.
Man, if the writers were actually interested in making Sakura a truly viable character and giving real development to anyone other than Sauke and Naruto, this fight WOULD be the start of that. Man, re-watching this reminded me how Hyped the beggining of this show was and how they definately fumbled later, especially with Sakura. Fr tho, kinda wish this arc was later in the series because it hits so hard.

All Akatsuki duo has his own philosophy, this one was Art philosophy. One of them thinking art is something eternal, like Sasori mantaining the body's "alive" making them puppets, and then Deidara, making "explosions", that are some kinda a "great short time event", his art is not eternal but espontaneum. I love that things.
Also Deidara is from the Land of Earth, from the Hidden Village of the Rock, so his kekkei genkai "clay" is based on the earth. That's why he escaped and apeared on the ground, he can use doton(earth style). Kakashi copied a long ago in some fight with a rock village ninja that jutsu he used on the bells training grabbing Sasuke's feet under the ground.

All things considered Sasori was a Pretty cool villain to start the series.
Someone in the chat saying "for some reason Shadow Clones are forbidden jutsu". They are forbidden for the same reason that the reanimation jutsu is forbidden. It can KILL the user. The only users of Shadow Clones are users with large chakra reserves. Naruto was able to do it as a child and produce more than a few clones. That shows just how overpowered Naruto is. If someone else had done it: The chakra drain might have just killed them instead.

The first few moves made in the weapon fight between the puppets made in the image of Sasori's parents and the Kazekage puppet were DBZ-style slo-mo to give the audience a clear idea of the kind of hand-and-finger movements the puppeteers were making and how they corresponded to the puppets' actions. Then the super fast movement is how fast they were actually doing it.
