I'm very happy for Jurgen he gave us all he had and more in his time with us, he deserves a cushy job upstairs on the big bucks. Another good upload LFIJ, keep it up!!
Jurgen and the lads gave us more match days to look forward to than we could’ve ever dreamt of. I always thought he would eventually take an executive role, he’s got the personality for it. Glad he’s found something he loves to do. YNWA
Si!!!! I've literally just realised, less than 6 months after Klopp left us, he's going to be an employee of leipzig when we face them!! ALSO!!! He's again now working above Pep Linders again! There's a lot of interesting little subplots. Well I exaggerate actually, he doesn't start till January, but he's literally taken a job with a company/club that'll be facing us soon!!! He'll have players like Bajcetic and Clark way under him! Just a very interesting, strange change. BTW... Absolutely NO bad blood, nowhere near it. The Liverpool job, along with all the drama and media and stress, aged him 20 years and he deserves a nice job in football, without the full time pressure of management. Love that man.
I don't begrudge him this opportunity. He's a Liverpool legend already, nothing can change that. I guess he's had enough of a sabbatical & he's ready to work again. I understand the disappointment of Dortmund fans but you're right that he'll bemore of a corporate boss now & not on field as a manager. I wish him all the best, as well as our new manager, the shiny one. Up the reds! YNWA 🚩 🚩
Thank you mate, super appreciated! I get that some people feel strongly on it, but overall, it is Klopps life and he has probably weighed up all the outcomes and decided what is best for himself and his family. YNWA
Klopp had devoted himself totally to rebuilding Liverpool and made Liverpool becoming Great again. His legacy live on. I wish him all the best no matter what his next adventures will be❤️❤️
A few points- -Red Bull has a bit of a fluffy and fun image to people outside Germany with their mad soap box races, air race and F1 team in an already overly commercial sport. But inside they are thought of as a Man City/Chelsea/PSG type plastic manufactured PR machine club. On top of that, the recently deceased RB boss Mateschitz had been pushing extremely right-wing ideology in Austria and Germany for a long time. Mateschitz personally made Servus TV, a TV channel which is essentially the Austrian version of FOX News - full of anti-immigrant, anti-vax, racist, anti-"woke" and conspiracy theory rhetoric. RB Salzburg has cannibalised the Austrian Bundesliga by winning 14 titles in 18 years. The German Bundesliga finally got a champion that is not Bayern, and who is that new champion? A club owned by a pharma company with a really dark history. -Dortmund is marketed as the true football fans' favourite. However, their transfer strategies are exactly that of Bayern - i.e., pinch all the top players from the best of the rest clubs such as Kobel, Schlotterbeck, Brandt, Guirassy, Beier, Ryerson, Nmecha, Anton, Bensebaini. And these are just the players from the current squad. Nothing wrong with that, the point is Dortmund fans have accused Bayern of the same method whilst being guilty of it themselves. Also, just before the Champions League final, it was announced that Rheinmetall (arms/weapons manufacturer company) will be a sponsor for the team. So, they are not quite what it seems. -Klopp does advertisements for “Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG)” which is an investment counselling company criticized publicly for their multi-level marketing (Pyramid scheme). So, I am not sure how much out of character that Red Bull move really is. But is it as bad a betrayal as Sol Campbell, McManaman, Owen or Torres? No. But then again, I don't expect the super rich to have much of a moral compass anyway. They live in an another world of reality.
Good for Kloppo. Let the man live. I don't gold the move to Red Bull against him. Jurgen will always be a legend, but now it's the Shiny One's time. Up the Reds!
Si happy birthday 🎂hope you enjoy your special day with family🔥🎂💚📣🎁🎈 Klopp is the best manager in the modern era and he delivered so much to the clubs that he was involved over the years. The only thing that people are missing is his ability to get results. (We’re lucky to have Slot so far) He’s aloud to do whatever he wants to do with his life and his family. Top man Klopp 💯. We all benefit from his time 🔥👍YNWA💯🔥👍
As a Liverpool fan I will forever be grateful to Klopp, but it is a bit disappointing to see him doing things contradictory to what he apparently stood for. Even in Liverpool he was so proud of us doing things 'the right way' and we championed him for it despite rivals mocking us. I can only imagine how much it would sting to Dortmund fans and I can't blame them for feeling betrayed.
Yeh the Dortmund fans have a right to feel aggrieved. I do think though he is a footballing man who wants to chase new experiences all the time and it is no secret he has been a big fan of the Red Bull infrastructure for a long time. I guess he stayed true to himself overall. YNWA
I'm happy for Klopp. At least we won't have to come up against another team with him on the bench. I think maybe he's trying to show Michael Edwards anything you can do, I can do better! 😂
as a student of sherlock holmes and columbo my understanding of kloppos departure was he did not like the british press (aka demons) obviously and he may not have liked to reiterate every day how great lfc is.

I understand Dortmund (and Mainz) supporters being upset that Klopp is helping Red Bull but he is doing it in a very limited role at a global level, he is not directly influencing RB Leipzig. As for Liverpool fans, we benefitted quite a bit from our club’s deals for RB players during Klopp’s tenure and RB Leipzig isn’t a big threat to us. Personally, I am not bothered in the slightest by Klopp doing this role for RB. In the Bundesliga, I support Eintracht Frankfurt and hate Hoffenheim. Leipzig is maybe my third least favorite club behind Bayern.
Indeed, I think, the majority share your opinions exactly! Klopp is a Liverpool legend. Wherever else he wants to get involved in football, is up to him. YNWA
I don't like what the Red Bull clubs stand for at all, but there are some positives that come out of their projects, mostly on the developmental side of football in Germany and world wide, and I would very much rather have someone like Klopp with an obvious passion for the game at the healm of their projects than someone who lacks that.
I dont agree johnwalk this is not the same as coaching a team . I think we can all see how exhausted he was physically and mentally .He gave FSG a lot of notice had built up a great set up and an amzing group of players . He wants involvement in football but in a very different role . I will always love and respect Jurgen .
Well said Susan! I completely agree with everything you said and it was an honour for him to lead Liverpool and hand over the very best Liverpool to the next era for Arne Slot. He created unforgettable moments and memories and gave everything for us. But he is a football man and he definitely would be back in some role, to give his experience and to experience new things. I guess the question is how would us LFC fans feel if Klopp was to join Man City or Chelsea? I reckon all of us would be disappointed and annoyed. On the one side, I get why Dortmund Fans anger. On the other side, I get Klopps view - it’s his career and the RB corporation is super complex and very interesting, even if he’s only on the football side. It’s really interesting. It’s easy for us LFC fans to say well done to Klopp, it’d be different if he took a role at an English corporation in the EPL. RB are hated in Germany. The furore would be bigger with LFC fans if he were man managing another English football team as he has vowed he never would and that’s a public statement. Disclaimer: people and the world are shallow. Don’t be surprised if he went against his word in the future.
I think it would be a different situation, mainly because Klopp said specifically he would never manage another English club, but I don't think he said that about German clubs. It will be denied but i think Klopp got tired competing against a blatantly cheating Man City and trying to compete with one hand tied behind his back by FSG's lack of ambition when it came to transfers. I also think Edwards coming back was a factor to as I think him and Klopp didn't see eye to eye IMO. I Also think FSG wanted to totally restructure the club and wrestle away power from the manager when it came to player signings. I may be totally wrong but this is my gut feeling on why Klopp actually left.
Not sure what the furore is about. Klopp deserves to do whatever he wants. He has earned his reputation through hard work and battling the odds his entire career. This is the kind of position he should be holding at Liverpool. That's my only disappointment. However it could benefit us long-term with FSG intent on a multi club model. Wishing Klopp all the success in his new post!
I see Klopp in a different light because of it. It shows it is all about the money. He put an air out of only caring about people, about teams of the people.
