Gomez is always a solid option but there is that secondary factor of convincing Trent on the new deal, so I feel as long as he is capable of being a positive asset in a match, he will keep being played because he is still a fine player that is starting deeper and becoming harder to beat defensively. There is so much firepower in the line up with shooting from Salah, Nunez, Gakpo, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and even Set piece VVD threat that I struggle to see how Brighton keep a clean sheet. Jones and Diaz will definitely get some minutes! YNWA
I will not start quansha because he has struggled defending in wide channels while covering for trent . Mitoma and adingra are very pacy . Rather start him vs Southampton
It’s always tough playing a team twice in a short period - it scrambles my predictions. At least the match is at Anfield, so that’s better. I’ll take your 3-1! You mentioned other podcasts - The Late Challenge with Gareth Roberts and Paul Cope is another good one. They don’t do tactics, they’re just older guys like me who love to shoot the breeze. Gakpo should keep his place hopefully to keep up his goal scoring run! The crow is a mark of rebirth and rejuvenation; the animal that has historically cleaned up after great battles symbolized the renaissance after such tragedy. Yatagarasu as a crow-god is a symbol specifically of guidance.
