This key piece of recreation infrastructure was built through an extremely successful crowd funding campaign with more than 550 contributors during SORCA's 25 Anniversary in 2017. Joyride Bike Parks put in a gargantuan effort to give all the contributors superb value for their sponsorship dollars through extremely difficult terrain. The trail will speed you up and slow you down as the terrain allows, get ready to use those brakes as you are dropping a long way down Corners are tight to control riders speed on steeper sections and it offers a different experience than other machine built trails in Squamish. The trail should be considered 'dark blue' and is not for beginner riders. Starting at 925m, it undulates through steep forested slopes and in some cases had to be chiselled out of the side of the Round Mountain volcano. The last portion of the trail traverses a logging road through a new BCTS cutblock before dropping down to the start of Pseudotsuga. Thank you so much to everyone who has been involved in this project. As with any new trail, there are going to be a few iterations before we get it just how we want it, we'll be back when the fall rains return to fix it up!

Thanks. Some steep rutted sketchy sections probably not what the trail builders planned - too steep or wrong dirt for good flow there?

Good question. Not too sure to be honest. Maybe there were some rock slabs under there or heavy rain run off. Definitely a couple sections that keep you on your toes. Still fun as hell though haha

Was this April 18? Thinking of doing this on Saturday but wasn’t sure if it was ridable yet. A few weeks ago someone said it had snow all over it.

Unfortunately, this was from last summer. I was there a couple weeks ago and you could ride from cakewalk down.
