Well done sir and Ms. Grand Adventure!! We recall our trip in Montana boulder river. The Whispering Horse movie was being filmed. The river road was busy with trucks and trailers supporting the movie. We of course drove to the small campground at the end with our pickup camper. Great time. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Take care.
Thanks for the recap! My wife got me started this year looking at all your videos. We have binged watched all your past videos. Hope you and yours have a Happy New Year! Safe travels into 2024!
Oh man! I’m not feeling well this evening and forgot it was Grand Adventure night! But I’ve got to say how HAPPY I am that you enjoyed the Springs at Borrego. 😊
Marc, Dawn and I always enjoy your videos. You do a fantastic job with your cinematography, and you have made many suggestions that we enjoyed and visited during our RV travels. Looking forward to your 2024 plans -- hope to run into you on the road someday.
that was a good trip. Just today I got my miniRV, 2016 Toyota Sienna Le, now to take all the seats out except drivers and build it out to travel in. I have 47 places in LA to explore starting in Feb.
Great retrospective Marc. Question #1. Due you carry an onboard generator? Q2. How many days can you comfortable boondock until you need to dump your tanks? Q3. Tank sizes? My vote for the Grand Champion is the Boulder River Montana site, that one is special! Nice job.
Thank you as always, BBB! We do indeed carry a generator, although we seldom use it. We can go about a week on our freshwater and gray tanks, and two to three weeks on a black tank. Our tanks are all 50 gallons each.
Marc, I always love these best episodes of the year. You did a great selection based upon the most notable criteria. Glad to hear that the whole season went without any trauma. Remember the year your travel trailer axle broke on three separate occasions. Then the slideout failed at the very last episode. What a year that was. So... was it at Whitney Pocket where you snuggled up to a cactus?? I can't remember.🤔🤣 This was a fabulous year and the Anza Borreggo stay was really beautiful. Just lovely accomodations with the mountains as a backdrop. What an incredible desert area with wonderful slot canyons. Such a different part of California. Thanks for making this all available and for the tremendous effort you put into every episode.😊 Looking forward to your next year's travels. Gord
Wow, Gord. We sincerely appreciate that. It's comments like yours that make the effort required to produce an episode like this one so worthwhile. And no, my close-up encounter with a cholla cactus was from our Tucson Mountains episode. 😁
@@GrandAdventure Thanks... and your welcome, Marc. All the fellow TH-camrs and followers feel the same way. You make the effort so worthwhile and enjoyable. I look forward to going to see your movies every Wednesday. This was my fifth year. I can hardly believe it's been that long. Gord
Hello Marc! We were off on our anniversary dinner during you live. This is always one of my favorite videos of the year!! Thank you for your videos, narration, history lessons, and just overall vicarious travels! Safe travels!
Congratulations and thank you on a great travel season Marc. This “best of” vlog was well done. We don’t always make it to your “premier”, but thanks to streaming we never miss a post. Have fun on the mountain in the off season. Looking forward to what 2024 has to offer to us “Grand Adventurers”. Safe travels.
Falling asleep next to a babbling river sounds wonderful. The flowers were beautiful on the desert site. Great best of video! Happy New Year!🥳-Michelle
Thank you sir very much, Michelle! We appreciate your comment, and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed this retrospective. Happy New Year as well to you and yours!
Great stuff, thanks for putting this together. Not a CA guy, but I might have to become one, that oceanside spot is amazing. Nice featuring a HipCamp as well. Happy camping New Year!
Thanks and same to you, Sugar! Despite its diverse natural beauty I'm really not a CA guy either -- for one thing, the price of everything there will kill ya -- but that spot on the Sonoma Coast was oh-so-special.
You need to hurry up and get old LOL....Those COE campgrounds are half off with the America the Beautiful pass...The Senior one is $80 for a lifetime....COE campgrounds are my favorite and really like the place here in this video...Thanks for sharing that....That Ocean Cove spot you show here i have tent camped at a couple times before motorhome times with a buddy who abalone dives in the cove there...This has always been his go to spot as we only live bout an 1 1/2 hr. away.....You lucky with the weather there this time, ive seen it be pretty darn nasty there....Enjoy relaxing now and look forward to seeing your Quartzsite thing in future video....stay safe, be well...

Our deepest condolences for your loss, Kate. We do love Texas too, though. I think that if we weren't running towards the snow each winter for ski season, we might very well be wintering along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Ah, what a great year-end review. These are amazing camping spots. Like in the past we surely will try the one or the other on one of our next trips. Thank you for sharing.👍🙂 Greetings from Pooneh & Werner
