Hi Ben, yes I did visit the Stuart stand and while they were not looking I attempted to rotate their version of the pump. As with my initial version the pump could not be rotated because the bottom clamp for the two steel wires fouled the two braces. I asked the guy about it and he admited they rarely ran the model but if they did they had to remove the bottom clamp on the two steel wires. I felt vindicated, but just walked away. I will not run my model, but know that if I want to I can because on mine the bottom clamp does not foul the bracing arms. I suppose I have become a bit anal in my old age. LOL Ed
Greetings. Excellent comment I had not thought of that. I'll make and try a heavier flywheel. I used the oscillator engine in its original form and an improved flywheel may well help with overcoming the balance weights. Many thanks. Ed
Yup the pump works. There are two 5/32" stainless balls one on the suction side and one on the delivery side which act as non return valves. Many thanks for the compliment. Ed
Great project that, you should be very happy 🙂
I am! Thanks for viewing the project. Ed
Good work Edwin, runs well.
Thanks Ben. I admit to being rather pleased with this one which is not always the case with the things I build. LOL

@@edwinwhite933 No that is interesting! Good work.
Hi, that's a wonderful model. Looks great and runs very well. Could it be that the flywheels are a bit small to get a round run? Greetings Alexandra

Nicely done. Thankyou for sharing this video. Does the pump actually pump water?
