Della Jones is one of my all-time favorites. I loved all her recordings with Opera Rara - including the old pirate LPs!! Such a thrill to hear her talk about her art.

An interesting dialogue with one of our finest mezzos. I always remember a superb Rossini evening at Goldsmiths' Hall in the City of London in the early1990s. Ms Jones had a superb coloratura technique and I admired her work for Opera Rara greatly. I am so pleased she is passing on some of her knowledge to the younger generation. Thanks so much.
