This was, hands down, the best tutorial I've ever seen, and I'm not talking about just Blender. My guy, you are a great tutor, your teaching is perfectly understandble and I don't even know how I became this comfortable using Blender with just one video despite not knowing it one bit and utterly scared to learn. I managed to do everything you showed and the result is chef's kiss. There are no words to describe how grateful I am to you and you made me believe I can learn Blender and create my own art with it. Cheers and I hope you live a wonderful life. ♥
I started with a donut from Blender Guru like most people and couldn`t follow along so by the end of the chapter 6, I gave up (even though it`s a good tutorial but it was just too much for me as complete beginner). After 2 days searching for the best tutorials, I ran into your channel and words can`t express how grateful I am! Your tutorials are a breeze for me considering I have PTSD and memory loss when I`m under a lot of stress. Your videos keep me going and I will definitely buy all the courses. Keep up the good work and thank you for everything, especially for finally making my dream of 10 years to learn blender come true 😊❤
I got up to the part where he was using the multipler in the nodes for the sprinkles, I don't think that's necessary for beginners and it wasn't coming out the same as his. I want to learn the basics first, before I reattempt it
@@WorldOf3DPrintingthe case was the same as mine in that part when the math process made my laptop slow and I didn't know what function it was actually for, a beginner like me saw lots of nodes making me dizzy and lost interest and only got to the shading part. It's like an intermediate to advanced lesson
Blender guru just talks a bunch of nonsense and confuses things by showing you how to do something that has nothing to do with the project 😂also he comes across as a jerk😂always got a smirk on his face
@agrafkaagrafka1542 none of the full course will tell you everything you should always starve for more new information and learning sources videos and tips and tricks But the starting point that's important they shouldn't be confused or overwhelmed by the amount of information And that's why this video is great
@agrafkaagrafka1542 There is no "full course", does not exist such a thing. Blender has almost infinite things to learn. You can spend your time learning how to low poly or just the basics cuz Hardsurface seems better, or maybe animation, 2D, etc. Who knows and who cares. Just let the guys enjoy, and thats it my man. Be happy and let others be happy also. Cheers and nice modelling!
I've been following Roman for a while now, and he's really good at what he does. His teaching method is excellent, and he always posts very useful material for those who are learning. I've been following him for a while, and I'm very grateful for every lesson.
That was the best! I have never felt so confident I learned something in blender without confusion or fog. Everything was clear. And moving from model to lighting quickly, gave me the big picture that complex modeling tutorials don't always. Now I got to go digging for more from you, so many to choose from!
You are an incredible teacher this course has helped me with the very basics of blender, most videos leave out important information you explain every little detail in clean, concise wording and the most important thing you do is recap...people underestimate how repeating something can help with retention. for that, I thank you dearly.
Man, explanations of all the keyboard shortcuts is killer. I know that will make such a difference in the long run. Thank you for taking the time to explain the best ones to us! I'm personally liking the 1,3, and 7. It's oddly satisfying when the plane changes so fast lol. Thanks for the tutorial!
Hello there. I've watched you, Ryan King Art, Blender Guru, CG Fast Track, Grant Abbitt, etc. You all are so good at this and in teaching it, but what is great is you all have your own ways of getting to the final product, so no matter what, and who I watch, I'm always learning something new. Much appreciate the knowledge you are imparting as this is a hobby for me that I've always wanted to learn. (For modding, i.e. Skyrim, Fallout 4, etc.) Much appreciate your effort here.
woww this is crazy how clearly you explained everything. I am definitely more confident with blender now and will for sure make a bunch of lil scenes like this!! Tysm for the tutorial, its the best one I have come across for sure!!!! keep up the amazing work ❤
I've been saving up for my current computer for two years, all the while running Blender and mastering only the theory of working in it from time to time, without putting it into practice because of the old laptop. Now I was wondering to start doing something and start with the same style, which is shown in this video. I watched your video in full and I can confidently say that you are a great teacher who explains everything in a very accessible way. I will try to do something in the same style and start slowly preparing a portfolio. Subscribed to your channel. Thank you very much :)
this will be my first day trying to learn Blender as a complete beginner to any graphic design related field. Hope that I can update on my journey. Thank you for this video!!
I completed this tutorial and absolutely love it. I will upload it to my TH-cam channel and just the colors and positions of objects are a little different to add my style to it. The only issue which I worked around was for example the spring rolls which I changed its color but it was linked to the plate. I just changed the origin point of the plane which I did the spring rolls separate and completely different location than the plate. I just placed spring rolls on top of the plate when I completed them with their color too! Same issue with the small cup of soy sauce on the plate. Great Lesson. I learned so much.
The best video for beginners. I searched for a long time and saw a lot of rubbish on TH-cam, but this is the only video that is very well explained and structured. Clear, understandable voice and great process. A treat for the eyes and ears. I already wanted to delete Blender from my hard drive. Not anymore after this video. Many thanks to the creator and please continue…
The tutorial i waited for long 🙌🙌🙌. Here is a request plz make a detailed tutorial of professional lighting not just a single setup but a bunch of examples .
Fantastic beginner course with very clear and concise instruction! Im also one of those that did the donut tutorial and I came away from that one still a little lost and didnt touch Blender again for over a year. I thought Id give it another go this week and after seeing the art style in the thumbnail, I thought it would be a better introduction and boy was I right. I now feel confident and most importantly inspired to go and create my own original work so a huge thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and passion.
I have attempted blender 4 times in my life, this is the first tutorial that worked for me. Thanks to you, I don't need to spend money on 3D models for my games. 10/10 to anyone sceptical. This is a great guy 🙏
I want to express my tremendous appreciation for not only this tutorial, but the vast amount of high-quality content you provide at your channel for everyone! Not to mention, I find the way you do the tutorials and present the information to be very helpful; I found this one more effective at teaching me the essential aspects of Blender than even the iconic Blender Donut tutorial. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed 😊.
❤❤TH-cam recommended your channel to me and I'm simply loving it. I've been watching it for 12 hours and creating a list of your videos to make in Blender.❤❤❤❤
Excellent tutorial, I just finished my first render and I am so pleased with the result!! Cannot wait to continue to experiment with the program, thanks for the video!!
Thank you for this great Tutorial! Im 15yo and wanted to start a few days ago. All tutorials were so complicated and i didnt understand a single thing. You explained everything slow and perfect!
22:52 while i was learning blender by making a donut like everybody else, i always have problems with double vertices, ill always get burned out everytime this happens, so glad someone actually mention this while doing a tutorial as it can make someone give up pretty quickly.
I have zero knowledge about design & photography, but still, I manage to follow this tutorial until the end thanks to your great explanation on many things. But while I still able to finish it, the lighting part still gets me. I think it is the most difficult part out of all.
Like others in the comments, I started out with the donut tutorial but didn't finish (yet). Came across this video the other day and LOVED it. I believe being a little familiar from my other attempt was helpful, this video really great. You covered so much, in a short amount of time AND I had about 3-4 aha moments which was unexpected. Excellent work , thank you. The tutorial length is perfect, the way you transitioned and built upon each topic was what I needed, thank you.
i hope you are doing well this really helped alot with starting the basics way more than the donut one. I even remember more of the hotkeys, thank you!
✨ I’ve tried learning Blender from so many other tutorials, but I always ended up lost and frustrated 😅. Your channel has been such a breath of fresh air! The way you teach is so clear and easy to follow, making Blender so much more fun to learn. Thanks for making it all so simple! Sending love from India! 🇮🇳❤ Keep up the great work-you’re helping so many people! 🚀
Thank you so much for this lesson! It was very helpful for beginners like me. Your channel is a great resource for learning the program. I really appreciate your hard work and dedication to creating quality content!
Thank you for this. I followed blender guru. Got till chapter 13 but afer that i was still confused and looked for a tutorial that is exploring more on the basics and i found this . Thank you❤
Hello! I'm enjoying your lecture. In my Blender, I can't see the button to check the normal as shown at the 24:45 mark in the video. How can I make that button visible?
You are the best!! Continue doing videos with such good explanation. I would like to see more complicated works but anyway with explanation and detailed steps ❤️❤️
transitioning from C4D as a student and this helped get me familiarized with the interface! some features are more efficient, but some of the menus in blender are confusing!
Hi I love this video, but i have a question. When i was making the soy sauce as I was done I looked at it at it and realised i would like the proportions to be a bit different, specifically to make the red cap smaller but since its all sort of connected i cant make it smaller without messing up stuff underneath. Same thing with the neck of the bottle i made it a bit too tall and wanted to make it shorter but i only really pushed it inside the bottle. Is there a way to split certain parts and resize only those without hurting anything else?
hi, can i ask for tutorial shown at 25:27 that after I extrude the cube and when I press S, the cube not sharp like you do in the video. Is there any another button to make the cube sharp? thanks a lot.
Heya! Why do I still see the squares after I added the background? In the video they are not visible anymore and no matter what I do with the sunlight it looks like crap compared to the video 😢
I did everything and it looked good, but when I press f12 to render my image with cycles, my sushi is all black while everything else is normal. But whem I'm in the rendered section with cycles, it looks good, only turns black when I render. What could it be? Thank you very much for all your tutorials
Great tutorial! Learned a lot. Thanks. Would you be able to shared your hardware spec? My pc is struggling when rendering, I think I need to purchase a new one or put a GPU in my old machine.

good work

Thank you!
Previous versions. I mean, 3.5, 3.6 do I need to delete these versions or should I keep them? Thanks.
Depends if you have projects that would break in new version and if you need to keep them alive (happens in professional studios)
@@polygonrunway I don't think there is any use in having previous versions. Doesn't it make sense to delete them?
♥♥♥ Thank You
does this "cubeish" blender style of making things, has its own name or category how poeple call it?
Not really, you can call it low poly or cubic
Your videos are amazing🙌🙌, please make videos about game assets or game environment creation in blender🙏🙏🙏
Thank you!
if someone there please suggest me all free videos am learning myself with help of these creatives masters. thanks
Better than Blender Guru no hate
Nice
see and hear about polygin runway
Is this course taught using the Blender shortcuts or Industry Compatible?
Blender offers a deep variety of shortcuts and when mastered, offer unmatched workflow speed. That's why I only teach standard Blender shortcuts.
