So this is my take on what you've mentioned regarding what happened in the Fate Episode. Perhaps it may alleviate some confusion:
4:28 Medusa got kidnapped due to the fact that she had nothing else left to work with. Her petrification didn't work. And it shows she didn't have the strength alone to break free from Perseus. (Which you acknowledge alittle later after this point in the video)
4:32 While Perseus is taking the full brunt of Medusa's voice, it already says her shouts are being muffled by the trees as it fails to reach her friends. Perseus seemed to be moving quite fast away from the village also. So I guess apparently things are being made to say that even all that was happening was not enough to wake everyone up. (Funny enough Perseus's Rage of Bahamut card shows him doing the same thing to Medusa)
5:10 Medusa wasn't shown to have supernatural _physical strength._ All Primals are built individually different when it comes to their powers and abilities. Someone like Satyr and Parushurama can break through being frozen solid in ice. Or how clashes between Alexiel and Parushurama could create shockwaves in the air. But it really shows here that *Medusa is more reliant on her abilities rather than physical strength.* Medusa was also in a state of panic. But perhaps biting him and punching _might've_ worked? I dont think Perseus would've allowed it to happen. Perseus could've just killed her if she started doing anything lethal like turning her hair into snakes to bite him. But then again Perseus needs to get her to the ritual site and Medusa would've just reverted to Core form. Though I don't entirely blame you for seeing something wrong with this part.
5:58 While this is sudden, that's just because she's freed from Perseus upon after Medusiana and the crew catches Perseus off guard upon entry into the cavern to save Medusa.
6:17 Medusiana seems to recognize that the weapon is related to Medusa and her sisters. Which gets mentioned later on after this moment happens. This weapon as Medusa mentions seems to be the key, alongside Medusiana, and Perseus, in order to awaken Medusa's sisters. Which isn't far off given how Enyo is revived upon being hit with her own energy from her clone after it hit Athena's seal and cracked it.
6:42 I was fine with them not revealing alot but just mentioning that he has goals of his in gaining power to save someone was enough for me. People seem to be theorizing that the Primal Beast we fought in Fire GW last year, "Cassiopeia", is involved in some way and the one Perseus seeks to save is "Andromeda". Which I hope to be the case because she's pretty entertaining and has the whole "ojou-sama" trope. Some things in Rage of Bahamut's lore is being twisted.
7:22 This is fine given this has only happened once, and only because her power wouldn't work. She's also quite a tsundere as two of her friends say twice despite her Pride. lol
7:30 Him being surrounded by Monsters and not being able to deal with them on his own is consistent. (Im not really sure if its 3 Monsters since its implied to be more as Medusa is just blasting everything away). Perseus came to Medusa's room to kidnap her, knowing that if he got caught, he'd have more people to deal with. Though sadly her first thought wasn't to hit Perseus in the face because she panicked given everything that happened and how her powers didn't work. Given how she is now, i'd say she's much stronger now given that at the end she says she isn't worried about something like this happening to her again after gaining her new power.

_(On another note, Wolfe and Balor remind me of Baldr and Freyr)_
_(Except Freyr is reasonable and was just created to be the way he was, and Balor is irrational)_

I knew we’d be getting a Grand Earth character but I think they’ll hold off on Siegfried until the next Dragon Knights event, although I’m actually more of the opinion that Vane will get his Grand first and Siegfried will get his post Dragon Knights Anniversary event. While with the Society characters, I think we’ll probably get a Beatrix or Ilsa Grand next after their next event.
I had this thought yesterday when I was finally reading through Shiva’s 5 Star Fates after reading Prayers. Shiva’s Fates are good but Fate episodes unlike events aren’t really allowed as much time to breathe, the writers need to get across what the goal of the episode is, which can mean that sometimes the quality will suffer.
For example Petra’s 5 star Fates wanted her to be able to control her spirit and reunite with her mother, now she’s done that, but it probably felt a bit quick when we had a whole event where she fumbled at the last moment, so having it sorted in less than an hours reading leaves less of an impact than if this was an event. I personally felt this especially with Filene’s Fates which read like an event they scrapped since her story seems too similar to other characters like Izmir or Sara.
But what Granblue excels at is character focused Fates, I’ve unfortunately not read Sevastien’s Fates which I’m assuming aren’t setting anything up but are focused on him as a character post event, but with me finally being able to read the Archangel storyline after Hot Summer Fete’s rerun, I was able to read Gabriel’s Fates today and they’re really good. They expand on a character who’s basically just always been a supporting character by giving them their own goal and struggles that we’ve never seen before. I feel like that’s where Granblue’s writing is at its most consistent since you can never go wrong with interpersonal struggles. With Medusa’s Fates, again not read them but I’m gonna make an assumption and think that this is like Zeta’s, a setup for some kind of event that will expand on Medusa, her sisters and especially Perseus since he has unique artwork.

Filene really feels like wasted potential. Really wish they could do something more with her.
      In the future perhaps.

@@DuckyTalksGranblue It feels pretty likely since being a Dragonnewt gives her some chance of an interaction with characters like Grea or Chulainn. Granted Filene is a Shadowverse import right? So she’s either going to get an event series or not be touched outside of the smallest of mentions.

Classic I expected nothing and still came out disappointed fate episode. Didn't get Medusa and that sucks cause she looks good for gw.
I had to skip the Sevastien event but hearing people talk good things about it I guess its worth to read it in the journal.
For bad writing I would put Mirin and Shion's event on the list, maybe it's just me but the event didn't feel like it was for them.

Completely random but what do you you think of Vane as a character. also I like Perseus's design

Vane is a cool guy who is regrettably stuck in the worst storyline of the game. Really think he would shine more anywhere else.

Honestly, do you think they care for the history? Of course not. They know no matter what awful writing for the past 10 years wouldn't affect the game, because they know if they make the most groomer bait possible.
If they "really care for history", they wouldn't had done the latest mess up they had done for years now. Not just in history, but to "this female girl the new SSR even if she hasn't being on the latest event".
Latest victim where Redluck (again) and Deliford and by "luck" the last one got his SSR after having twice the worst take on his own two events.
So, don't expect any care of history or rich of anything, because you wouldn't get it. it is a groomer game for the past 10 years and will keep being one: because that SELLS.
