Your comparisons make sense when logically applied to simple nail care. One workout doesn't improve anything. One language class doesn't increase language mastery. Stretched pregnancy tummy skin shrinks over time. As you demonstrate and explain, simple, gentle, consistent nail care over time is the only way to better hands and nails. It takes patience and practice, but is so worth it. It's also far less expensive than one might realize. Another essential factor to consider is how much better nails and skin feel. I live in a cold, dry climate and used to have cracked nail folds, hangnails galore, and little cuts that were extremely painful. Since applying your gentle nail care steps, my hands look and feel so much better. Thanks a million!
I been watching all your videos for a long time i am so appreciated for sharing your experience and knowledge your love of natural nail care, i always so exited to see your beautiful work also your gorgeous nails and gentle voice thank you, you're the best!!
Thank you Madam Anna for another valuable demonstration on the weekly self manicure, and a reminder of the advantages of a good routine. Very much appreciated 💐💐💐
I thought I was allergic to cuticle oil as it always dried out my skin instead of helping it. Since using your method of just one drop it doesn’t seem to be peeling like before. Thank you so much for
Please elaborate about the use of OPI Repair Mode. Every website says 2 times a day for 6 days, but that is not nearly enough time to recondition horrible nails! There is also a lot of product for 6 days of use. I am going to follow your advice about using oil and not wearing polish, so I need to know if I can use Repair Mode daily then follow up 10 minutes later and throughout the day with oil. Thank you so much!
Hope it's okay to ask a question on this video. Since your base and top coat should be the same brand, does your polish also need to be the same brand? As far as an entire brand what would you recommend as a reliable product that is also economical? I live in the US. Also, I LOVE all of your analogies in your explanations. I even turn your videos on while I'm getting ready for work. I find them soothing for some reason. I used your links and got Blue Cross and Serasal (sp) and I got my Cuccio in the mail yesterday. So very happy I found you! 💜
Thank you for your kind words :) When it comes to gel polish yes, full system is very important because it comes down to the lamp that needs to be used to cure it. Not all lamps have the same nanometer range and intensity. Improper cure can lead to life long and sometimes serious allergies When it comes to regular polish it doesn’t matter as much. All air will dry it :) But it might not work as well as if you used it as a full system. Dazzle Dry is a bit of exception though. The polish won’t apply well over different base coat and you won’t have the 5 min dry unless you use a full system
I only use regular polish as I would prefer not to use lamps. I've been trying to decide amongst OPI, Essie, or a few others I can't recall at the moment. I usually use less expensive polishes and I notice that they will seem to be completely dry and then when I wake up in the morning a couple of them will be smudged. Could that be because of the caliber of the polish or am I maybe using too many coats?
Hello! Thank you. Gentle gentle!!! Thank you for the reminder. I am way too rough! Anna, what polish did you have on in this video. Nail glowing Dior or apricot base coat? It’s so pretty and has a light milky look.
Ok thank you, bummer. Anything similar, with the clear yet milky look? I have watched many videos of yours but not sure which one to try. I don’t do well with anything that has hardeners in it. Like the apricot Dior base coat.
If the skin is stretched then yes, the nail might look longer. If that skin is not stretched then don’t push it and pushing it attempting to extend the nail bed might damage the matrix (the root) underneath
Hello miss, i really appreciate your work and tips. I have retronychia in my big toenails and wonder what is the best routine to go about. Thanks in advance ❤
The best course of action would be removing the cause of the micro trauma. Because this is not really only a cosmetic problem I suggest consulting podiatrist
i discovered your channel recently and will be following your advice as best as i can in the new year to hopefully be able to achieve better nails :) i have short nail beds (the pink part?) from aggressively cleaning debris under my nails with sharp tools since i was a kid, so i learned that apparently my hyponychium needs to heal and grow. how do you recommend safely cleaning under nails during this process? if a nail brush, do you have a specific type or brand you recommend? thank you for all the great information you share 🙇
Hello, I've been trying to push my cuticles and remove the excess skin, but it seems that my proximal nail fold is too large and separated from the nail every time and flips upwards. Can you see what I'm doing wrong? Or what would be your advice? Thanks
I just discovered your channel while trying to solve an issue and it’s been super enlightening. I’m just not sure what course of action to take and I was wondering if you have any advice or any videos that could help. I don’t do my nails but they’ve always been long and strong. However, I had a low break that couldn’t be cut and and was told to go to salon to “cover it up” until it grew a bit and could be cut. It was my first time and I think the salon did a dip sort of thing on my nail. It really hurt to be honest. However, the real issue is when they removed the product, layers of my nail peeled off so it’s a bunch of uneven horizontal nail layers. It’s hard to explain but it gives off the appearance of ridges all over the entire nail and my nail seemed thinner or weaker? Is there any way to fix this (warm oil soaks as you’ve recommended in this other video i saw?) or is the damage too deep?
I would use it as directed. For 6 days and then weekly. There is only so much any product can do. More is not always more helpful. If you would need more individualized help please check out the service I provide www.thesalonlife.ca/services

Hello, just found your channel last week, blown away by the amazing and informative content!
Wow, thank you so much for your kind comment. 🤗
Nice to have MSL back again... yes please to him doing his own manicure now next episode
It's good to be reminded of these steps. I can get a bit complacent when all is going well, and neglect these simple steps.
I been watching all your videos for a long time i am so appreciated for sharing your experience and knowledge your love of natural nail care, i always so exited to see your beautiful work also your gorgeous nails and gentle voice thank you, you're the best!!
You are a lovely model, MSL! 😊 Beautiful work as always, Anna 💫

Thank you Madam Anna for another valuable demonstration on the weekly self manicure, and a reminder of the advantages of a good routine.
Very much appreciated 💐💐💐
You are so welcome!
always such great info! Thank you...wish you lived near me!
Absolutely fantastic! My nails and cuticles are in bad shape. I’m going to get some Kerasol and start this routine.
I thought I was allergic to cuticle oil as it always dried out my skin instead of helping it. Since using your method of just one drop it doesn’t seem to be peeling like before. Thank you so much for
I started doing the warm oil soak every Saturday and it's made a big difference in my nails.
This helps a lot, thank you again for sharing! I'm going to try my best to just push the skin fold and not cut it. Hopefully it works for me!
Thank you so much!

Just a clear coat from Catrice. My nails are naturally very pale so they look like this with clear polish. ;)
Thank you! Can we purchase it in USA? If yes, will you send me a link?
No, it's not available in USA

Do you recommend polishing the skin around nails with a polishing bit? ❤
Hello :) I explain it here
Why I leave dry skin and I don't cut the "cuticle"
th-cam.com/video/Is_XlP9THi8/w-d-xo.html
When you started giving MSL manicures, did you use any polish? I would like to do just a clear nail polish (maybe dazzle dry) but which one?
Hi quick question when you push back the nail fold does this eventually gives you a longer nail bed?
If the skin is stretched then yes, the nail might look longer. If that skin is not stretched then don’t push it and pushing it attempting to extend the nail bed might damage the matrix (the root) underneath

Do you have a recommendation on nail files, as far as recommended brands?
I prefer the thin wooden boards. We sell them as well :)
www.thesalonlifeshop.com
You can get them in a refil pack or with a nail kit :)
@@TheSalonLife thank you!!
So how do you safely clean dirt from under your nails?
Soft tooth brush :))

Is henna good fot nails ? Can we add henna to our routine manicure?
I’m not familiar with henna at all
Where do you get the kerasal cream to use for your nails?
Hi Jenna, links are in the description box :)
Can I use OPI Repair Mode more than 6 days? My nails need a lot of help!!
I would use it as directed. For 6 days and then weekly. There is only so much any product can do. More is not always more helpful.

Did Dazzle Dry discontinue Ocean Motion?
I guess so, I don't see it in their online store either....
That’s a shame. It’s a good color. It’s on my nails now.
Do you have Lotion Please in your shop and if so is it a similar color?
I swatched them here
DAZZLE DRY | Swatch & Talk #10 [light blue, teal]
th-cam.com/video/ULaCLvuv99g/w-d-xo.html
I think Ocean Motion has more purple in it so it comes off periwinkle. Lotion Please looks less purple.
