2025 01 31 - Full Run - Road Projects: From Start to Finish - Warm work

This week, I was out on a beautiful mostly warm day. And there was a LOT of work happening!
The work at the French Broad is moving along very quickly. It looks like almost all of the finishing pieces have been delivered, and they are working quickly to install them.
At the new exit, I am rather sad to see that they are removing more of the center area. I wish it could stay, but it looks like they need to build another lane.
At the Parkway, the cap blocks are almost all in place. I believe that they will be finished in another week or so.
Towards Long Shoals, the shoulder is being poured, and looks to be completed this month. I don't see us getting shifted over onto it any time soon, though, as they are continuing to fix bad sections.
South from Long Shoals, there was inspection and repair work being done in the northbound (West?) lanes. That will be interesting to see get completed.
At Fletcher, there was some work happening, but I don't think we will see anything big for a little while.
South of Fletcher, there were several centerline additions happening, including a new bit of concrete at Naples Road. They were also prepping for concrete at Clear Creek.
There is a lot of good happening, and I'm sure that we will be completed by the end of March. At least south of the airport. We shall see.
