Tim Robbins is doing an incredible job bringing Bernard’s character to life. He’s an incredibly complex person to portray. A good guy doing bad things for good reasons.
Bernard crying while holding Meadows's corpses hand was a) vaguely horrifying but also b) one of the best scenes of the episode. He really did love her, in his own very weird way.
I think he fell in love with Meadows, brought her on as a shadow so they could be closer together and be working together and then she got exposed to the legacy and old world and got depressed and turned to alcohol. And in a way Bernard feels guilty for having done this to her. The whole scene with the firebomber and Billings where he asks the question “don’t you wish you didn’t know.” Pretty much ties this together.
Right…I think she's with Mechanical and the Rebels; however, she Knows Bernard is on to her, so she had to reverse course and try to throw him off her trail. She technically didn't give mechanical up. The new head of judicial has no idea what hes doing, and he looked to Camile first, and she was the one who gave the OK for the peace order. She knew the negotiation would result in them having food on thst level. She's playing both sides. Most likely to get Bernard out and Sims in as leader. However, Lucas, being the new shadow, I think will throw a wrench in their plans.
I wouldn’t be so sure. The information Lucas will learn might shift his entire perspective and obligations. Not to mention Juliette got him entangled in this mess in the first place and is why he got sent to the mines. He might have some resentment
I mean, look at it this way. If the rebellion succeeds that’s going to be Bernard doing the opposite path as he’s sent out the airlock with the bad tape for crimes against humanity. Desperate times, desperate measures.
I enjoyed his very short hesitation. Like…yeah, sure, seems a bit dicey but I don’t have many options here! That one day in the mines did a number on him.
LUCAS IS THE SHADOW. Imagine going from a convicted criminal with essentially a death sentence to the second highest position in the silo within a week lol
Kinda annoyed there was so little of 17, but the way this episode was presented was SO much better than last week. I still don't know WTF Camille is doing.
I hope he is just accepting because he sees it the only way to survive. I wouldn’t find it credible if after learning how the silo works he is cool and he go along with it, it will make him angry and vengeful to Bernard. Bernard made a mistake making him Shadow, it was a desperate move because he has no one to trust.
Awww man, major disappointment Jules’ plot was only in the last 5 min, if that. Bernard scenes remain the most interesting to me. Exciting to see what’s gonna happen with Lukas.
I am very disappointed about the episodes have been stalling since the ep.2. It was a good start in ep.1 that it felt like a "Alice in Wonderland" story. It was attractive only in ep.1. But since ep.2, all the stories are junks. A lot of guys doing gay stuffs, meaningless conversations and so on without any progress to the story. Alice should be exploring to other silos just like the story in Fallout; or Alice is being sexually abused by the hentai man Solo (which usually happens in the Japanese hentai animes in an environment like that)...etc. That's what we are expecting to see. The one who wrote the story after ep.1 should be fired. Watching this show is now really boring. A lot of scenes are unnecessary. We sincerely hope that the whole production team would be fired asap. What a crap they ruined the whole story.

Juliette is going to have a powerful ally when shes back at the end of next season

I know what drilling sounds like, Derek.
I love Rebecca Ferguson but Tim Robbins is the best thing of this whole show
