Luke 21 8And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
HUMBLE yourself in the sight of the LORD... Humbling yourself in the sight of the Lord is a recognition of the watchful eyes and the listening ears of the Lord - Proverbs 15:3. God is watching your actions, listening to your words and evaluating your motives. He knows the truth about you and you have no reason to be proud. 😔🙏
And just how are we supposed to know we were deceived until after its already happened and we’re being called stupid for letting it happen? Liars now how to lie. Its so discouraging..
@Laura Hargreaves, I encourage you to love and live and treasure the truth. Jesus is the truth (John 14:6). Treasure God's word in your heart that you might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11). In the last days God sends a strong delusion upon those who don't care to love the truth BECAUSE THEY TAKE PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). Study the truth so diligently that when counterfeits and phonies show up you are so attuned to your Shepherd's voice that you ignore and reject the seduction of other voices (John 10:4-5). I encourage you to spend as much time as you can communing with the Father in prayer and studying His word. Ask Him in faith for grace and wisdom (Hebrews 4:16, James 1:5-7). So often we say "I don't have the time, to...," yet it seems we find lots of time to drift into meaningless entertainment. Or we find the time when it means we'll make more money. IT'S ALL ABOUT PRIORITIES. Jesus said to SEEK FIRST GOD'S KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (Matthew 6:33).
@ min. 5:03, Laura Hargreaves I slip here and there on what God has urged me to do and in response I return and do it. As far as encountering liars, it seems like they're everywhere and they are, except where God leads you. Derek Prince advices to be humble which is the safest and just like Jose says, have and gain a love for the word, which is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. What has worked for me is giving to Jewish charitable Organizations who aid and support the poor and needy, plus others besides. Whatever God loves for you to do, do it. And if you like it, great. Luke 6:38. is just an example. Read Paslms, King David was always begging God for something. And in between the lines King David was always repenting of something. And fears on all sides. He had no shame when it came to being humble, he would bend his knees and confess. Besides Jesus, he's our example of humility. God bless us on our journey!!!
Is this a seducing spirit and a doctrine of devils if the preacher says that " It wasn't enough for Jesus to die on the cross, he had to do more " ? I think it clearly is; a pastor embracing a seducing spirit that diminishes what Jesus' perfect sacrifice on the cross did for us. Bishop Keith butler in Detroit made this statement that in quotes recently at his church and to his congregation. Butler should be repudiated for this erroneous unbiblical message that he proudly and arrogantly espouses to his congregation!!!
It's way to late for that. All of Christendom is worshipping Paul while using Jesus' name in vain and have been programmed to ignore all warnings against the spirit of anti-Christ that consumes the 13th self proclaimed apostate Paul. This is why everyone is sold on the idea that the most important thing to God is our opinions. This is classic mind control. God is not concerned about our opinions regarding matters we are not even a witness to. He is concerned about our obedience and loyalty to him. He is concerned about how we treat one another. Jesus said when we do kind things for the least among us it is counted as if we had done it for him directly but Paul tells us works are a waste of our time. Jesus tells us to obey his father's commandments. Paul tells us don't worry about it and leaves us to assume God made a terrible mistake with his burdensome commands which he later repented of even though we are told they will remain so long as heaven and heart continue to exist. Discernment is little more than a myth and it's ironic when Christians use the term and then go on tell us what the "apostle" Paul had to say. According to Acts 1:21-26 Paul doesn't even qualify to be an apostle in any way, shape or form.
I rebuke both of you false teaching lying blaspheming disgusting spirits in the name of Jesus Christ!!! Back up your lies with scripture or leave now in the name of Jesus Christ!! I rebuke satan in the name of Jesus Christ!!!!
@Scott Thomas I follow Jesus. Paul isn't even a factor in the matter. You don't have the first clue what you are speaking of or even what the bible is telling you for that matter. Your comment doesn't even make sense.
Lord Jesus Christ, please help me to endure the suffering, persecution, and betrayal so that my faith increases with joy to the end.
I second that beautiful righteous prayer in the name of Jesus Christ!
