I am from South Africa. We all look up to USA. LOTS of sin comes from Hollywood, in our homes and childrens lives daily. But I know that there are many genuine sincere real Christians in USA keep posting, keep shinning,don't give up, we struggle financially, emotionally, physically etc but our hope is in the resurrection. I walked out on a church because of how lack of Bible being taught in church now. I don't know what came over me, but I just got up and walked out. If it had been me, I'd never do it for fear of others. But that day, I got up and left, going home to worship and pray privately. I do want to ask this. Why do American Christians Pastors start with a story (that takes nearly the whole time) and throw in some scriptures to make their story relevant.
@@malikcollins4499 because they are workers of iniquity. They compromise to keep a congregation because very few are truly sincere and seeking the true Word of God. The congregation is just as much to blame. They won't except sound doctrine. They choose people who will satisfy their itching ears.
Turn off the t. V. Gueard as much as you can what your children's eyes see and their ears hear. Don't look up to the USA. It's all pride, vanity, self centeredness, greed, self righteous, full of deceit. The number of genuine and sincere are fewer than people imagine. Look up to Jesus Christ only.
God told me to fast and pray 3 days a month. I'm fasting and praying now. I've noticed something supernatural usually happens when I do this. I've gotten into the habit of eating a few ounces of cashews in the evening. I could feel it was becoming a habit. God is breaking it now as I resist in Jesus name. Same thing happened when I tried to give up alcohol when I first got saved. Every afternoon around 4 I would have a strong desire to have a beer (what I would normally do). I would resist and eventually (a few weeks?) it was totally gone!
Morning, God’s Holy Spirit touched me on March29, 1996 and freed me from severe drug abuse and is still helping me to live a life of self-denial . I owe Christ so much.....thanks for DP ministry. I have songs on my FB page ( public) that I’ve written to encourage the Body of Christ or help folks to know that Jesus loves them and will visit them if they desire a new life !
Also Pray for your family and self. Get closer to God by studying the Word! You MUST study the Bible! Word will give you STRENGTH 💪. 🙏 4 YOU. Humble, Confess, Repent, Cry out to God.
Over the years I have fasted for either 3 or more often 5 days. Each time I fasted it was solely to be closer to the Lord. Almost immediately it seemed that I was in a spiritual desert. I had to believe though that it was satan’s demonic host that was resisting me. Then, a few years ago, The Lord said quite clearly, “Fast and pray.” I did, and that time I was not in spiritual desert as before, and instead of experiencing hunger, I fasted for 40 days without hunger! Only the Lord can do that!!
When I wanted to get closer to holy God, holy spirit had me fast sweets which I loved. Then I got very hungry for the word of God. We know Jesus is the word. Blessings to all, in Jesus name amen.
In the midst of this preaching I love Derek Prince's dry wit. It adds salt to his teaching. I love his teachings on prayer and fasting. I immediately thought of friends in my church with whom I could pray and fast.
I'm definitely overdue a fast, for spiritual and physical reasons. God bless Brother Derek and his ministry, which lives on to bless countless more Christians than those he reached during his lifetime.
Jesus has given me strength, to keep going, even though I want to give up. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job as a social worker from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Faith over fear.

We will take a simple little verse and show you why it is not addressed to the natural man, Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”
The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. My dad got saved the week I fasted for 7 days for him. Total miracle. Still makes me cry nearly 20 years later. Fast with faith!

We will take a simple little verse and show you why it is not addressed to the natural man, Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”

The Gospel:
Plain and
Simple
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3
Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes! And let me tell you why!”
