When you say chrome it out. What's your process to chrome things out? I'm ordering those hinges.. did you just cut out the trunk, hood and doors abs an exacto knife?
By using a chrome pin is what I use but you can't clear coat it even with chrome paint do not put clear coat it'll make it look silver and yes with the chrome paint pins if you touch it a bunch it will fade the chrome. Yes I took the body all apart cuz it's all held together by 3M tape to make it easier to cut the doors hood etc

They are just extra lights I had laying around from a light kit I had you can use any kind of LED lights on it
