Very nice :) I followed doings of a kingfisher pair 2 years ago until babies left the nest. For me ghillie suit did not work, because they saw hands moving. I had better luck with ghillie net, when all my movement stayed inside the net. Didn't try popup hide then, but in close proximity birds tend to see lens sleeve moving and get scared. Same with DSLR cameras, shutter sound is too loud. Gonna try again with mirrorless next year :) Good luck to You with birding ;)

Thank a lot for sharing your experience. Indeed I got my best results with my mirrorless and popup hide.
