Hi Dale, I've been watching your videos for years so as you go through your garden I feel as though we are friends and I'm walking with you as you explain all your plants. You do such a great job with the camera and explaining everything. Thank you, I've learned a lot while being entertained. Lovely garden.
Everything looks great, Dale! It is nice to know that the mystery has been solved. I used to grow turnips (on purpose) to provide some winter vegetables and entertainment for my chickens. I left them in the ground through the early part of winter. On days when I didn't let the chickens out to roam, I would use the green portion of the plant to tie it above their indoor pen. They had a blast jumping up in the air to peck at the flesh of the turnip. After a while, they would knock it down like a pinata and continue to devour it. It always created a lot of excitement for them and kept them busy.
Thank you for the "visit" we got in your garden. You have so much variety in the things you grow. By the way, I have also seen several programs with Monty Don, and find them very interesting as well. Hugs from us in Sweden!
Great video, good to hear from you😊...Its been extremely unseasonably rainy in my area. The vegetable garden has thrived. Happy Gardening Dale. Best of luck with the harvest.
I'm interested in the white runner beans. I've not heard of them, and enjoy the Scarlets. Looking forward to watching them flower out and see the white beans.
Me too! I guess they are sold out for this year but these are the beans.annapolisseeds.com/products/greek-gigante-runner-bean?_pos=9&_sid=8c6301735&_ss=r
I would like a fraction of your gardening variety and success. Enjoy you videos. Old time Mainer 'from away'. Sent a book on cheeses to a post office box in Lubec that I thought was you. It was returned as undeliverable .
Hi Dale, I’m interested in your seedlings under the LED lights. Did they grow? Are they part of the seedlings you’re putting out? I’m very interested because I presently have seedlings growing under the same lights. Some are growing well some don’t even seem to have germinated. It’s only a couple of weeks so I was wondering how they went and are they some of the seedlings you have planted out. if you wonder why I’m so far behind I’m here in St. John’s not only in St. John’s but up on the hills around St. John’s so it’s colder up here.

Yes most of these things were grown under lights and then moved out to the unheated greenhouse around the first of May.
