@@sergiocruz8443 gear ratio has no effect on if both tires spin or not. If you have a open differential then 1 tire will spin only You need a mopar limited slip differential or a Eaton trutrack to make both tires spin.

@@FrostbiteRam it’s data bro. I don’t use them for the numbers, just what they can tell me. It will definitely show you if your setup is being optimized. Also what a 4 corner weight scale will do. Helps make a combo that much more effective if you know all this information. Like I just found out the 727 is more efficient than the 46RE in terms of DTL. 727 puts down 60+ more whp than a 46RE on the same vehicle. Do it for the knowledge, use the fun for gapping people because you know what you can do.

Did you have to modify the stock harness at all? I'm trying to do a similar swap on a dakota and finding the correct harness and computer is being a real pain
My factory harness is completely left unplugged/not used except for one wire to pickup park/neutral switch. Mine is full manual valve body no need for the computer.
You do know it's the same as a 727 just has overdrive you can build either to hold massive power huge aftermarket for them lol look it up why else is every mopar racer running 727s🤦♂️ this is a full manual valve body not autoshift😉
Stock to stock the 46rh and RE sure aren't better and their gearing is even worse . Built sure but it's no better than a built rfe at that point but has taller gearing so it's still kinda worse .

Both are very close in ratio. The 545 has a 3.00 1st and John changed the the 46re to 2.80 if I remember. I can't tell a difference at all between the 2 besides the 46re shifts so well and puts the power down. More videos to come but also the 46re in 4th gear with overdrive locked im running about 2000rpm at 65-70mph with my 410s so I'm very happy with that also.

Its called an adapter plate
Ever put it on the dyno with the 5spd and then again on same dyno with the 46RE?
Never been on dyno period but perhaps soon just for fun

For most the 46re will hold plenty with just a shift kit. The stock overlapping shifts are the Achilles heel.
