I have about six or seven 3D Pros. Most of them I bought at flea markets or thrift stores for under $10(US). They all cleaned up and calibrated perfectly, when I got them home. You can buy them new for $35(US) at Best Buy ( bestbuy.com ). The 3D Pro is THE MOST ergonomic stick you'll find. After a several hour game session, your hand will thank you, believe me. And don't believe the propaganda about the sensors on the 3D Pro. As long as you have a gentle hand on the controls, yours should last you for MANY years, FAR beyond the value you would expect for the low price. Not only that, but the button placement and ergonomics are MUCH better than on the Thrustmaster T16000m. The buttons on the T1600m are also known to break very easily and fail VERY quickly. I own six different types of joysticks and two types of HOTASs. With all that hardware, guess what's sitting on my desk, that I actually fly with. Yep, a 3D Pro. If you have rudder pedals and want a similar (but non-twist) ambidextrous stick, pick up a used Logitech Attack 3 off Amazon or eBay. The Attack 3 (left) and Extreme 3D Pro (right) also make a great two-stick setup for space sims.

I hope the sensor does not wear off too soon. so i just got my joystick calibrated correctly and i go to change the key bindings in game and when i do something with the controller the key bindings are wrong. it thinks i hit another button and i recalibrated it and it still wont work.
Nice Review! May I ask how's the performance of FSX in laptop? Im using a windows 10 8gb ram laptop so I wonder how long it lasts and does ur mac overheat?
Ednard Mathew Dizon FSX can be run on almost any modern computer because of its age. 8gb is overkill for FSX to be honest. My MacBook’s fans don’t even have to kick in so it doesn’t overheat
What boat sim do you use? I am heavily interested, but I can only find Ship Simulator Extremes which is old.. I'm trying to find updated, new boat sims.

Shabbir Khambatti yeah i tried recalibrating the stick but the stick just can't detect the last 20% of the travel. I think it's a hardware issue in my case

SpaceXenthusiast I’m not sure. I only fly prop aircraft, so I never looked into it. I’m sure there is a way to program one of the buttons to do it.
