I love what you did with Marty’s interior! I always had a hard time with the Sanrio characters interior because they are so distinct and don’t fit a theme, but I totally forgot we could decorate them ourselves!
These all turned out so well! I had tried to customize marina’s interior but the space is so small! However you managed to flawlessly customize all these homes despite the small space!
This colour matching home series makes my brain so happy! I'm looking forward to its continuation and would like to make one suggestion; if you could, I would LOVE to see what the final products look like with their respective villagers happily existing in it. You've done such a wonderful job coordinating these interiors and I feel that addition would be such a lovely cherry on top. Great job diversifying the decorating styles, by the by!

I've been binging these videos since I found them today. They're so cozy!! I love seeing detailed decorations like you do, especially since I can't bring myself to build spaces that look nice but that the villagers' AI can't completely access, even if we can... I love to see them interact with their environments, so I try to give them as many chances to do so as I can when I design! Unfortunately for my stubborn self, while keeping this in mind, I have to hold back a bit on my own designs :') That's just me though!! Hopefully soon I'll figure out how to strike the perfect balance with some inspiration from these!

I love the idea of Shino's but I think swapping the accent wall to a view outside to make it look like a deck of a traditional Japanese home would be so much better
Great designs as usual! I have a feeling you're a cold-natured person because of your use of the radiator a lot; I'm a hot-natured person so I use the air conditioner a lot in my designs (I always feel the villagers will get hot, even when I design homes in a winter setting...lol).
I'm just european haha there are always at least 2-3 radiators here in every house! So it comes natural to me to always add one in my acnh rooms 😅 But yes, I hate being cold as well haha

thats not actually his default home lol ur starter villagers all get very basic homes & furniture! the first lazy villager u invite will get a camp-like house w dirt flooring :) hope this helps
I'm going to be honest with Shino's house, it already resembled a traditional Japanese tatami mat room at the start. However your additions seem to skew more chinese and generally orientalist in nature. I know you said it would be more traditionally 'inspired' but I don't quite know how to feel about it. That's just my two cents though, your a fantastic interior decorator!
There aren't enough items from the same set, I always mix different kind of furniture and decor, it's necessary! I do it on every build. So I definitely wasn't trying to get a "japanese" or "chinese" style, I just wanted to give a more oriental look to her house that could fit her character, and I did my best 😬 Of course I didn't mean to offend anyone, apologies if I did >.

Sherb's house looks like that only if it was one of your firt 5 villagers on the island. It's the starter house, and it always looked like that in my game. If you get him later in the game, his house is much prettier!
