Rick please make collab with some big golf player. And by big I mean as beer lovers :D I really like your educational videos and I have watch a lot of you but I am a big boy and my body just dont bend in some ways that is needed. There is many of us with some hump in the front. I noticed that there is very little content for bigger players and even with a pro class at the range, the insturctor could not really adapt to teach me how to move propperly.

My friend that had 13 years of experience sort of guided me through etiquette and "unwritten rules". When to just accept defeat and pick the ball up. He taught me how to keep pace with still playing bad but also being respectful to others. It was a big help. At first I was very nervous about playing on an actual course becuase of all the rules and etiquette. It's honestly a pretty daunting task and can turn a lot of people off to it before they even give it a try.

You're an awesome instructor, Rick. I had cobbled together these tips from your previous videos: ball position, body position, etc... I even brought out some powder spray last time at the range (got a couple of looks). That said, I've gone from hitting about 200-210 with my driver to 235-245 with much better ball flight/shot shape (might be getting a 250-260 carry). Also, I used your tips for improving my range practice and these last few have been the most productive I've had. Thanks so much for your videos. Please keep up the good work.

Mr. Sheils, I'm the person who almost never leaves a comment but I feel I'm now compelled to do so. I've seen and read a lot of driver instruction in the past BUT this one clicked and the lights are fully on for me. I literally watched this at least 10 times before heading to the range. I've never hit driver better in my life. For perspective I've been playing for about 6 years now and I'm 19.6 handicap. Feel that number will be coming down a bit more. It's all due to this incredible video you put together. It has allowed me to FINALLY truly understand the concept of the driver setup and swing in its totality. I truly can't thank you enough my good sir but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and Thank you some more!!!!!

It can be so hard to do these simple tips. Using just arms and hands is the big mistake to me. Forget about the “power fade” part that scares those approaching the green on a neighboring hole. Back and forth I’ve gone in my first year of golf being semi-productive in that 225 to 250 range when fresh off a lesson or after thinking I’m doing it right, to being horrid where I’ll hit my 5 wood off the deck farther and way straighter than Driver off the tee. Always helpful content from Rick even if easier said than done.

I've been watching your videos throughout lockdown without really playing golf, been really enjoyable hearing about the sport so I recently went out and bought a set of golf clubs. Spent a couple of hours at the driving range the other day, really surprised myself with how many muscles have an impact on a golf swing.
Anyway, shanked the better part of 100 balls before I started to hit it a bit more accurately, hoping to go back soon and try out these tips. The difference between the swing of irons and drivers really is pretty dramatic, towards the end of the session I decided to switch back from irons to driver and couldn't hit a shot to save my life.
Cheers for the videos once again and introducing me to a new sport.

Hiya Rick, I have hereditary spinal paraplegia which means my balance isn't great and for years I have been swinging just with my arms. After watching your posts I have recently been putting a little turn into my backswing and am hitting my driver really, really well. My irons have improved aswell.
Thanks for the tips and keep them coming 👍

I absolutely suck at hitting my driver. I am going to hit the course a bit before league today and give these tips a try to see if I can fix my inability to hit my driver consistently.
    Thanks, Rick!
