- In this ASMR language video I will be trying to speak in Welsh / cymraeg to help you sleep. I hope you find these ASMR language videos relaxing, tingly and helpful for sleep! I break it up into sections with different trigger words such as tapping, paper sounds and scratching sounds.

Sheesh I Wonder how to pronounce this. Why are so few ppl speaking welsh, and is IT teached in school?
@@MildPild in Wales you do get taught it because exam papers and signs are written in Welsh.. it’s not to bad to pronunce.. it’s just sad not many people know of it.

I'm far away from speaking welsh, but to be honest, it's a great feeling to recognise some words from the sentences and having a feeling for the spelling of foreign words.
But often it is difficult to follow your (really good) explanations, I love for that. I don't want to ask for too much, but maybe you could consider a similar video with explaining welsh words and phrases, but using something like a tablet, a pad of paper or a whiteboard to have a visualization? But don't worry, I will watch your Welsh videos no matter what :)
I will have a think about how best to do it. Have you seen my Welsh playlist, some early videos of mine were like that!

Wait can someone explain it to me? I thought, because Wales is so close to England, they don't have much differences, and native to English, this is something new to me, that they have own language!
Haha. Welsh people were here in Britain first, then the Anglo-Saxon people (English) invaded. We are Celtic and have our own language, ethnicity, history, culture and traditions. Welsh is related to Irish and Scottish Gaelic, Breton and Cornish. It is an Indo-European language so is vaguely related to English but closer to Latin.

There are 7k languages in the world Dude. Most European countrys have at least 2 local languages. Germany for example: High German is the Most known but Theres also Low German in the north with 2,5 Million speakers. In france Theres Breton, Octican etc in Spain Theres the very unique Basque, Galicians Katalonian and much more!
My Austrian mind thought Welsh would be exactly like English!😂

Very interesting language, kinda remembers me of old German or Dutch language!👏🏴
Even when I taught just north of London, the kids there thought the same, that "Welsh" was just English spoken in a different accent! Pronunciation wise, it is like German spoken by Swedes with lots of French, Latin, and English words thrown in for fun.
Thats sad. Selbst hier in Deutschland wir haben Hoch und niederdeutsch. 2 unterschiedliche Sprache. Niederdeutsch hat 2,5 Millionen Sprecher. Sater frisiesch etc gibt's auch noch.
In Spanien werden auch 7 verschiedene Sprachen oder so gesprochen. In der Schweiz gibt's neben Französisch, Italienisch und Deutsch auch Rätoromanisch. Es gibt über 7k Sprachen auf der Welt bei nur 200 ländern
