- I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did in creating it. This video is an ASMR language learning video to help teach you Welsh. It features a soft spoken male voice, the sounds of writing with a ball point pen with occasional whispering.

No Welsh here. I even butcher the French they serve up here in Canada. Languages are not my strong suit, but I can still enjoy them, along with the history and structure. One of my favourite ASMR producers is on her way in getting her PhD in linguistics. I've always loved languages.
This is actually extremely helpful, and excellent ASMR to boot! Gained a new follower with this one. :)

I love how Welsh and Irish grammar is the exact same. Need to brush up on my Welsh to keep in touch with my Welsh routes.
I started learning Irish a year ago and thought the same thing. It's like Welsh, just that all of the words are different! 😂 I've got a bit of Irish in my genes so we are distantly related! 😂

Aha! So fawr means big. Now I understand "Anthem Fawr y Nos", which is the only Welsh phrase I used to know.

I love this so much! I love languages and listening to them being spoken. I spent holiday time in Wales every year of my life whilst growing up and loved to try and pronounce things! I found this video so triggering - your voice, watching and listening to you write and also explaining the words. More please! Diolch yn fawr iawn! 😊💜

i’m half welsh and my welsh mum try’s to teach me welsh words but i forget them and my pronunciation is really bad 😫😂
It is tricky, but worth the effort! Lots of people get very impressed and treat you differently if you speak to them in Welsh. Keep going! 🏴
