Urban Wildwoods Step 9 - Almost Done!

If you happened to walk by the Shambhala School this past weekend, here's the view you would have enjoyed our outdoor space as we near completion of Phase 1 of the Shambhala School Urban Wildwoods: Playspace, Community Space and Outdoor Classrooms.
The revitalization of this space will create new opportunities for students to play and learn outside. Time spent outdoors is an important element of our curriculum and an essential component of our back-to-school plan for this fall.
Phase 1 will allow us to reclaim the entire outdoor space, beautifully designed by Earthartist, our landscape architect. We will have a new surface for basketball, soccer or other games in the back area, new hills to sled and roll down, large and small hangout areas, new trees and seating, and many locations to hold outdoor classrooms simultaneously!
We look forward to sharing updates of our progress throughout the late Summer and early Fall of 2020.
