Gotta love seeing lots of baby tortoise’s!!! Especially the lil SN one... He/She is adorable n I’ll keep my fingers crossed that she/he will b ok weather he/she walks or not... I must admit the Red Foots (n the Cherry Heads) have to my favourite breed xxx
About the eggs that did not develop...reptile eggs are usually laid under the earth, so maybe they like that extra darkness and the slight pressure and the grounding effect of being in the mud. I'm not sure how you would replicate that short of leaving them in the dirt, but it may be worth a try for any certain species that has a high rate of lost eggs. Even just keeping them touching the ground...just a thought
I’ve never tried turtle soup but if I ever travel to South America or Asia or anywhere they make it I would love to try it. Definitely can’t make my own tho 🤣😭
