Welcome to Shimokitazawa

Welcome to my home turf, Shimokitazawa, the neighborhood I have called home for neary 20 years in Tokyo - the town I fell in love with first, and where I first established myself, the community that gave me a home and my first circle of friends, that married me to my wife, that has probably captured my heart, my imagination, my money and time more than any other locale in Tokyo.
I took a stroll here today on a hunt for a new venue for my currently-on-hold DJ Event/Talkshow "Top 5 Records," along with just a "pop-by" visit to a handful of Shimokitazawa records store. This is a far-from-exhaustive report from Shimokita and probably just one rambling video in a series of many more to come.
