Wow! I'm jealous that you had five stores near you. The Gandalf record looks like a cool release. I didn't see that one by the time I went out. Great haul. 😀
Damn I'm literally in the same pocket but way past my funds smh I missed Deloris Ordidian Are you Listening. DEAD or alive. & ATDI and black Sabbath paranoid and the dio zoetrope I could of got for 30 bucks man after I wasted my last on the last copy of the fucking Paramore 2LP smh
I did score 2 Thrill Kill Kult Kooler Than Jesus EP with a full 12x12 blotter paper only 775 pressed that was my #¹ 1 Garbage lie to me EP 2 Olivia Rodrigo Noah Kahan Stick Season 1 Noah whatever I am was 1 Maisie Peters Witch Deluxe 1 Blur Parklife zoetrope 30th ann 1 Paramore this is why and remixes 2LP 1 talking heads live 77 & 100 Gecs Snake Eyes EP Weed 🌿 disc.
I used to take the Metro to a bus out of the city to Yesterday & Today Records in Rockville. Great store, went back several times. Not sure why Stipe didn’t want me to do that. Nice haul, Rob!
I'd say that is an excellent haul! I like the Sun Ra and the shiny copy of Neil Young's Everyone Knows This is Nowhere. Of course, Bobby Timmons is an excellent find. No nearby record stores where I live, but I love seeing these videos. I live by proxy.
I really like the couple who owns Run Out Groove, but I paid $38 for the Sun Ra Pink Elephants. Not sure if it was mispriced, but everywhere else, like Permanent it was $27. I had to grab it when I saw it, but $38 kinda sucks lol
I went to the local store, Volume Music, around 8 AM....still had to wait about an hour. I wasn't enthralled with too many of the offerings but I picked up "Everybody Digs Bill Evans" (I was the first one to buy a copy there lol) and The Faces BBC 2 LP set. I'm averse to crowds, but I enjoyed talking to the younger people in line with me.

Run out charged $38? I thought they’re only allowed to charge like 10% more.
