More fucking camera time on Charles Mootheart!! That dude can melt a fucking face harder than anyone else around today!! But, Ty Segall is cool as well, but fuck, more Mootheart!!
Ty Segall and company, always putting in mass amounts of work! Would be great to see the intro expanded in conjunction with more tour footage for a mini-documentary of sorts. Before each song, a new homage to a famous director could prime our senses for the galactic riffage of Fuzz.
groovy... right on... ; ) i hear sabbath in the 21st century...somethings never get old... ty...you and your friends rock... we can tell you.re having fun...so am i ...thanks...
It's just your normal Fender Strat Tremolo Arm Back-sprung Bridge System. I think the sound that you are referring to is what seemingly appears to be, a doubling of the octave so you get a thick chunky deep note as well as a cutting high note. This is normally achieved through the use of namely a Super-Octave Pedal and /or Fuzz face Pedal etc. When you apply a tremolo arm to this kind of set up you get that cool sound. These dudes know how to slam em' down with pretty stripped back to the bone set ups. Pure sound coming from those beefy Fender Valve Amps. No bells or whistles just 100% unadulterated bovine chunky goodness! Rock on Fuzz!!
Had a lot of fun with my house mate's jamming around the main riff to this song, me playing sax other two on drums and bass. Really great song. Can anyone tell me the name of the Clarinet part at the beginning? I recognise it...
Wow peep those vintage ludwig acrolite and speed king pedal on that drum set. I wonder what the rest of his drum set consists of all. All vintage drums?
If you like this, then you're probably missing a lot of great stoner/doom metal on account of your aversion to the "metal" genre label, despite your rejection of labels. It's all rock and roll, but this is definitely also metal. Good day, yo.
how can i get this song since it's not on the album and only released on that 7"? This was the song that got me hyped enough to buy the album (which is amazing!!), but this song should be on there honestly.
if you have a guitar with a floating tremolo (mostly on fender mustangs) you can move it with your palm easily so you can have this strange vibrato effect.
I built a pedal from scratch that can make my bass sound just like this. I have 2 Russian transistors in a Darlington pair and big fat Russian capacitors. That with my jazz bass in series sounds just like this.
damn everything Segall touches is gold
Siegel... touches is shekels.
YES
Love Ty's drumming face cause it looks like he's trying real hard not to sneeze
Charles is so fucking talented....this band is too much for me to handle
That is exactly how I feel about them
Karla sheryniele too bad we only get to see him a handful of times in this.
Quinn Moore yes, as much as I love ty segall, I did want to see more guitar action from Charles in camera. Seriously.
I saw them live and it blew my mind I’ve never been the same since. Way too much to handle lol.
Can definitely see the sabbath influences, makes it all the better.
More fucking camera time on Charles Mootheart!! That dude can melt a fucking face harder than anyone else around today!! But, Ty Segall is cool as well, but fuck, more Mootheart!!
Stefan Bowers lol I've never agreed with anything more than this
Ty Segall may be all over this but that lead guitarist owns this show, and this is coming from a drummers perspective.
Yeah dude Ty’s drumming is tasty and all but the guitarist fucking kills it
Charlie was the main songwriter especially in these early days
@@IamWillHarrison he still is, Fuzz is Charlie’s outfit
It’s funny cause Charlie the guitar player is an awesome drummer in Ty’s other bands
@@AlexCharlesWhiteOfficial which ones?
Awesome! What a talented dude, all of them are.
Ty Segall and company, always putting in mass amounts of work! Would be great to see the intro expanded in conjunction with more tour footage for a mini-documentary of sorts. Before each song, a new homage to a famous director could prime our senses for the galactic riffage of Fuzz.
Crazy talent.
I swear I watch this every fucking day holy shit.
me too
Rock n roll is alive and kicking...thanks guys... Hendrix meets Sabbath ... Woody f... Allen...allright!
This video is ultimate!! Ty Segall is such a good drummer, they look like they are having a blast. Can't wait for a Fuzz full length.
Ty's drumming is tasty

What a sensation it is to listen & watch to this. Superb!
Ty's my hero!
seeing Ty screw up and act like it's nothing makes me feel a lot better when i screw up
me too.
Screwing up is part of the ride, my man.
heHADpieSOi812 we are all human, after all
@Pen Umbra more the 4:42 stick clank
Is he really screwing up though or is it just the illusion of screwing up???... *mind blown*
I was at this show, had a great time. They killed it.
Looking forward to seeing these lads in Liverpool soon. Blue Cheer for a new century - right on!
somebody should make a statue of the responsible for sound and image of this video
This is so fucking rad. seeing Ty live is something I definitely need to do.
My new favourite band!!!

Cool. Thanks for clarifying that Matt. I will check out that page when I've time. Take care Matt. Rock on!
@Pen Umbra Yeah, that's a Mustang, with those trems you can use the heel of your hand on the lipstick tube instead of a bar.

You're totally right! Fantastic stuff.

I feel like this bass player isn’t getting enough props!!
Why?
Sounds like Electric Funeral by Black Sabbath
jay hathaway
Whoa there
Yeah but the triplet comes earlier, instead of at the end of the bar
fuuuuck how many times have i watched this??? too good
definitely has a sabbath vibe to it. i dig it
Less of a metal band than Sabbath though. More on the psychedelic end of the spectrum.
ty segall is one mad man
Génial ,perfect sound ,wouaaaaaa....
This is sooo awesome
Fuzz Sabbath!
fuck like can someone be in a band like this with me? I play drums and it's fucking shocking how this band sounds exactly how I play.

"Ghost" by Ty Segall
Hope this helps after 7 years lol
@@kylebuckert Watching now and yes it helped thank you sir
Well no reason to argue over a song we both like, but how it doesn't sound like early Sabbath to you eludes me.
Fucking great bass line.
Charles shreds so hard.
baguette4rent his solo stuff is also sick all three dudes are great!
All this guys in the comments below talking about Sabbath's influences, they don't know that the REAL daddy of the style here is Blue Cheer.
+joacoalvear Amen to that
To me, it sounds like Iron Butterfly minus the keyboards.
how can i get this song since it's not on the album and only released on that 7"? This was the song that got me hyped enough to buy the album (which is amazing!!), but this song should be on there honestly.
the Best version of this song i think

It's not sloppy at all. It's raw.
