- My cat Squeak hurt her leg and was limping. I purchased this Dog CRATE to isolate and help improve her healing. The Cat Cage keeps your Pet Dog or Cat from jumping up and down and limits their movement so they wont reinjure themselves.

Thanks for this rare video (cat in a dog crate) as I've been feeding a feral black cat since August when she had kittens. Her kittens have been adopted by neighbors but little "Onyx" is all alone so my bf bought a used yet pristinely clean crate like this. Been feeding her and getting her accustomed to when we have to take her in to be spade/shots so that she may live inside our warm home. Shout outs to Squeak!!
Update! I coaxed Onyx inside the crate exactly 1 month ago & on 12/23 she received her rabies shot/vax plus a hysterectomy. Saw on the bill EARLY PREGNANCY so.... She spent 4 days in the crate recuperating and now she owns this joint. Crate is in storage. She wasn't feral, I didn't know the definition before, she was a stray/homeless and now she is our little ninja who used to climb trees and show off for me just so I would get so proud of her like this. Bless you.

Love your videos, and love Squeak's cameo appearances. It's so true about your comment of getting a young pet accustomed to a cage or restraint environment. Once they realize it's not forever, it's less stressful for them for illness, injury, travel, relocation, so many circumstances where it's a temporary necessity.

I think Squeak was using her curse words on you in the beginning. Some people put a shirt with their fragrance inside the cage. I’m so happy Squeak is getting better 😽

It’s not a shelf. It’s a divider to use with puppies. You buy the size crate needed for their adult size and use the divider to adjust the usable space as they grow. Dogs will not potty where they sleep but if they have too much room in the crate they will use one side to potty, which is undesirable when crate training a dog.
You may want to consider one of those cardboard scratchers, so she can have a way to expel some energy and it’s comforting for some cats to scratch

That detached piece is actually a crate divider. It can be used for a puppy to hang from the top to make the space in the crate smaller for a puppy. Then as the puppy grows you can slowly move it to increase the amount of space inside rather than having to buy more crates than you need.
lol that’s a divider for when the dog is a puppy and when the puppy isn’t big. That would be a great shelf for her to have a bed on.

That one would be perfect for my cat is gonna get spayed tomorrow so she can somewhere to recover without too much movement when I have to go to work.
I had my late female cat spayed years ago and didn't crate her she was perfectly fine she wasn't an outdoor cat at the time either so all she had was the inside of the house IMO you only generally need to crate rest a cat if they've got broken bones and they've had surgery and that because it's a very extreme healing method as its basically solitary confinement I wouldn't advise it because it's unnecessary just make a bed up for her or buy a cat bed online it was the same with both my male cats being neutered I didn't crate either of them I just let them rest and gave them plenty of love and they were fine it's entirely your choice though

Maybe set the crate outside for awhile. Feliway diffusers (indoors) work wonders for calming cats. Highly recommend. 💙

My kitten has a leg injury he's having an x Ray tomorrow the vet's said I might have to use crate rest on him depending on what the x Ray says he's an outdoor kitten he's very bright and energetic everytime i think of putting him in a crate all day and all night I just wanna cry
