I have a 1993 GMC Sierra c1500. Been making a whirring noise. Just drained transmission and new filter and gasket. Filled it back up but now dipstick won’t read correctly or gets too hot. Drove it and had no acceleration at all but slowly moved until it caught speed.
Hey I got a dodge dart 2013 and whenever I take some long medium drives my car just loses all power and wont move up in kmh, I thought the issue would of been the air filter or something like that but unfortunatly it isnt, one thing is whenever I park my car and restart it the problem goes away, not too sure where im heading with this

I was driving my 2006 Yukon denali this morning. Notice my idle was running high but I was picking up speed. It would idle high at 20-30 mph. What do u think the problem is?

i have a 2005 nissan sentra with many miles on it and it’s been having a problem for like a year where it randomly often stops going, only like 2 mph or so even when putting my foot on the gas the engine revs and the RPMs go up, sometimes even to 6 which is in the red 🫣. It stopped doing this for a few months and started doing it again for whatever reason. My grandpa checked the transmission fluid several months ago and filled it, so i think it might be some other kind of issue perhaps with the transmission. pls help i don’t wanna get ripped off at the shop 💔
I have this issue when i’m on the road.. this only seems to happen after i get into 4th gear.. if i accelerate in a fast way.. the RPM goes up only .. only way is to slowly and build up the pedal press..
It sounds like 4th gear is going out in the transmission.

I added transmission fluid and coolant and it started working then the next day it was doing it again. The engine light never went away. 😭
When i first get in my 2015/16 nissan versa i can start it and while in park push gas pedal all way down and no rev no rpms move but once car warms up it will rev up. When i put it in drive it revs up buy car wont accelerate at all go.
My Chevy Impala has a problem where if I accelerate for a good speed 40-60 then stop at the light it will start to shake and will accelerate very slowly but the RPM goes up but the main difference is my muffler begins to rattle and throw black smoke, the check engine light is on and the scanner said there’s a EVAP Leak, are these hand in hand or what do you think the problem is?
Black smoke usually means the engine is running rich and getting too much gas. I would fix the Evap leak and any other problems and see if it runs better. There may be another issue, but I would start with the obvious ones first.
Thankyou so much... I have a question I replaced my center coil pack because 2 and 5 had misfires check engine light on... it was fixed no check engine light but when I'm driving, everytime I hit the stop light

Question - I have a 2011 Acura TL with a 6speed manual. When I'm driving, the revs will go up but then will drop down under consistent application of the accelerator pedal. No strange noises, just a weird 'rev up' that happens semi-regularly when I'm shifting. Thoughts?

I have no lights on dash. Had a torque converter replaced recently and inner/ outter tie rod and replaced rims. Both rear brakes, rotors, calipers replaced.
For some reason when i accelerate it feels as if something is obstructing one of the wheels or the brakes are applied. Both gas and break peddles are hard to push and steering becomes stiff. I have brought to mechanic over and over again but it has symptoms that come and go and they never seem to feel it. It happens when im driving awhile. Help i feel like a wheel is gonna fall off. It also clunks and creeks. I definitely feel like the brakes are applied. Yesterday it drove ok. Today it doesnt want to.
When pressing all the way down on gas pedal my car is supposed to down shift but instead my rpms jumó and car doesn’t go any faster and if I’m going uphill I’ll lose speed (98 accord 4cylinder) transmission fluid is good as well what could cause this?

Im having issues with my 97 jeep Cherokee 4.0l inline6. I recently got the timing chain replaced and now it feels like it struggles to pick up speed, especially shifting into 3rd gear.
and i also replaced the battery.
Can it be the distributor or spark plugs? Throttle body?
It sounds like the timing needs to be dialed in. The disturber can be adjusted to set the timing. A timing light can be used along with markings to get it set correctly.

My 99 outback started jolting into second gear and when I’m accelerating out of a corner my engine just revs until I back off the pedal or straighten out. My fuel pump relay is also clicking a lot when accelerating (behind dash cluster)

I have a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer gts automatic, it drives but only up to 20 mph feel like it’s stuck in gear one or 2. Make no sounds and the rpm’s are going as high as 5-7 thousand when I hit 20, not driving it rn. But what do you think it is

I have an 06 Acura TL. My car was jolting on its own and then suddenly slows down to complete stop Drive light is blinking and won’t go into park & wont accelerate.. no strange noises or clicking, no leaks all fluids are good
same here same car same year lol just dropped mine off at the shop hopefully nothing serious. I can still put it into park and no drive light is blinking. but i'm having issues when i accerlate sometimes it wont gain mph but RPMS is going way up sometimes i have to let go of the gas pedal for it to fix itself barely made it to the shop

I got a 2005 Nissan Maxima Se and recently the 'Service Enging soon" is On. Here is what problem in my car"
Sometimes when i start to accelerate the car after a stop sign or red light, the tachometer needle go up suddenly to 3000 or 4000 APM when on the gas pedal, but the car hesitates to move or move very slowly and sometimes it jerks hardly as well.
I bought my car to the AutoZone parts store, they scaned the car and the Code as P0780, Shiff error detected. But they could not identify what caused the P0780 Code and what was a bad part to be replaced to fix the problem.
I NEED SOME HELPS. PLEASE
A P0780 code is a Shift Malfunction, which could be a failed shift solenoid, sensor, wiring, or transmission issue. I would check the transmission fluid and be sure it is at the correct level. If the fluid is good, it will need to be troubleshooted to know the cause.
My 2010 rav4 wont move on drive but reverse can. It can move but need to push the pedal to 3.5 rpm 5 to 6 time and thats after warming up the car. After the car can move, when on park and on drive again i need to push the pedal again for it to move. At this time its like getting a hit from the back. Whats the problem here is it the ecm or the transmission?
If possible, check the transmission fluid and be sure it is at the correct level.
2008 Ford Crown Vic, hesitate going in drive, pushing the accelerator, rpm going up pass 2, then it'll jump in gear and move forward. Slowing down to make a turn or coming to a stop, car does the same then, rpm goes up, then car jump in gear and move. What could it be

Transmission issue
I have a 2013 Chevy sonic and car revs up and it will reverse very slowly, enough to go back into 1st gear, but it will only drive like one or two mph. I hope it will just be that its low on transmission fluid, or needs a fluid change. Can you give me your thoughts on the situation?
My 2014 Sonic is doing the same thing. Did you happen to find a fix?

Try changing out the transmission oil and filter out had the same problem and fixed mine
07 buick Lucerne, Low Fluid seems to be my issue , after hearing nothing after your first Diagnostics of low fluid , its at the shop now , 8/22/23 , I hope that's all it is!!!. Not enough money in the bank for a major issue. Please God let the low fluid be it!!!!

I have a similar problem with my car, which is Altima 2014 CVt.
When I parked the car it came back to normal.
The mileage I have on this car is 80K and only once I have replaced the trans oil.
Same problem. Happened a few times. I just pulled over. Shut it off and turn the car back on. No lights. It’s been fine.

@@AmbrosesKnight101 I had an 2016 Audi A3. Attempted to put transmission fluid in it, but It’s gone now, but the transmission went up. I couldn’t afford a new one so I gave it back to the finance company. Happy day of my life.🤣😊
I have a nissan xterra 2005, its got 153k miles on it. An it only recently started doing what you explained in the video. I called my mechanic an he told me to check the transmission fluid, so i did. An it was pretty low fluid, so i decide to not flush but change the fluid in the transmission pan, i also replaced the filter an gasket aswell. After filling the car up to the correct level, took it on a test drive an it drove better than it ever has. But when i went to work later that day, it started hesitating an doing what it did before. An im not sure if the transmission is just done for, or if a sensor went bad. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
I hate to say it, but it does sound like the transmission is going bad. Often an old transmission will go bad when the dirty fluid is changed out. It sounds strange, but it happens a lot. It is usually best to top off an old transmission that has low fluid. Of course, it may be something else, so be sure to let a mechanic check it.
