Gorgeous, all this does is makes me want more Le Rez pigments and pastes......Thank you Suzana for making such a wonderful product and making it possible for us to get it here in the US and making it affordable.
I completely agree. How did the art go from meh to amazing? the heat or a blower or what? And why did you pour 2 different kinds of resin? how much time does it need to get dry? Why use powder as colour, is it effective? where can you buy it? what is that powder called? Amazing art, but I really miss getting properly guided.
Nathalia Candáz Hi Nathalia, you need to mix resin itself+resin hardener, so it is not actually 2 resins, it is part a and part b that always need to go together. You find the resin kits with both of them :)
What happened between 27:22 and 27:23 - when the camera cut off a major difference happened during that time. What was done during that time it was cut off that caused such a dramatic difference?
I too had the same problem with my warm white, glad you showed a detailed mix however I did try it your way exactly however better but not the best appeared smoother until nearly the end. From now on I will grind it finer and use.
Lyn Martell I understand. The pearl powders spoil us with how easily they mix in resin ...lol. Yes, just give it a little extra love while mixing into a paste and then add more resin to it. I prefer the Angel White epoxy paste, myself. It's just easy and smooth, oh and the cells are amazing😉😉😉
Hi and thank you for sharing your process with us!!! I am a HUGE fan! -And new to resin art. Would you please let me know what binder you use for that pearl color (the pinkish one) and the binder you use for the mint green(maybe it was called emerald green and not mint...)? ...Anyway, you say you added a binder and I don't know what binder that is, please?
Funny how when you were pouring the colors they didn't look like anything - in fact, i was thinking "those colors are all too close together in value - how many teals, blues, peacocks, greens can you use in one pour??" But the REVEAL - my goodness.... after you moved the paint and gave it some flavor and flow - WOW! THAT THING IS AMAZING! The pearl, the starburst, the gold - EVERYTHING - wow. wow. wow. The white and the mint is everything in this pour - they give so much color play and character with tendrils and smoke rings and little blooms of color and texture everywhere. The only thing this needs is a little glitter and/or some crystals to catch and reflect all that light coming through the window!!
I love your comment. You are so right. Sometimes you just don't know what you're gonna get ( just like the box of chocolates), but you need to have faith ams trust your intuition. Most of my art ( except for the traditional art) is accidental...lol. I admit that 😘💜❤🌷
So how did it go from a bunch of circles to the incredible ending piece? Is this the underside of the resin or did you go back over and manipulate it once it started hardening?? Very intrigued. I can't wait to try!
Hey Suzana, beautiful as to be expected from all your work. Can I ask, did the paint settle like this without you manipulating it (anymore than what was shown with the torch)?
Are those two different projects? The first project that took us to near the end of the video just looked like sloppy circles. The camera cuts off and we get to see the final result...which looks nothing like what was being worked on before the reveal. I feel bamboozled!
I believe the missing step is that a hairdryer was used to blend the colours, but I'm not sure. It's just what I'm seeing on other projects getting similar effects.
Dear Mark I would like to make this table but not with shiny coat. It is for an eating table and I would like to have it matt. Can you suggest any product? Tks
Not deliberately, believe me! It was frustrating seeing that part of the video was missing as I would , personally luke to know how I got to the end point being that this was done years ago. I used the tilting and heating technique, that I do know that .🤔😪🤗
Karen Levine Great question. Resin comes in diferent mixing ratios, usually 1:1 or 2:1 but there are other resins which mix in other ways. Always read the ratio instructions on the bottles.
The EPP Binder is a product created by my chemist for use with pigments meant for use in epoxy resin. You can find it in my store at Le Rez Expressions website
Andrea Morin The Angel White is just amazing for creating cells and lacing. The Star-Burst shimmer creates the shimmer, no lacing effects due to the transparency.
Did you tilt it or is that just from torching it and letting it sit and do its thing? Thanks for your videos by the way! You have really inspired me to give this a try! I have definitely fallen in love with resin art! I’ve just ordered some resin and powder pigment from Jaaquard I think is how it’s spelled, anyway do you know if they are any good,I live in Scotland and so it’s difficult to find much. I would love to try your pigment powders, do you deliver to Scotland? Thanks again! So inspired!
Shekinah Glory if you find out who sells it in UK I’d love to know! I have been able to get powder that is used for adding to resin for boat repairs but in limited colours.
Shekinah Glory Yes, I tilted a little bit. The camera stopped working at that point! So annoying but soon I'll invest in a proper camera and let my phone retire from recording 😉 Jacquard pigments are very good, almost as good as Le'Rez...😉😉😉 I ship all over the world and I have a distributor in the UK now, so if you decide to give Le'Rez pigments a go, use a code "Symone" for free shipping to UK . I am not sure how much the domestic shipping charges are from England but I'm sure it's much less than International from Auz.💜💙
Suzana Dancks thanks for responding! Yes I did manage to speak to Symone actually and have ordered 8 different colors of Le Rez pigments,I’ve order jaucard pigments as well so I’m glad to hear they are ALMOST as good as yours! Lol! Still waiting for my resin and pigments to be delivered and can’t wait to get started! Thank you for inspiring me to try resin art, and for making such fantastic instructional videos that I feel I’ve had a personal lesson and feel confident that I will succeed! So thanks again! ...ps I’ve joined your Facebook group as well! Fantastic group of people and I have felt very welcome!
Jan Barber yes if you put the code SYMONE in it will be sent to Symone and then she gets in touch with us to divvy up the cost of customs and shipping then sends to us. I’ve spoken to Symone personally she is absolutely lovely and rest assured you can have access to Le Rez pigments! Go order! Lol the sooner we get a batch the sooner we get them sent out! Go join the fab group in Facebook as well and can get more info!
Hi Suzana, have you done a video about mixing colors? Did you mean just mixing actual pigments with the resin, or mixing pigments to create something entirely new? That's what I'd like to see!
Andrea Morin Hi Andrea, I mix epoxy pastes to create new colors for my store. I also mix pigment powders with a binder to create a paste and then mix with other pigment pastes to create new colors. I will do a video soon. 😉
Suzana Dancks, thanks so much for responding! I am a huge fan of your amazing work, talent and creativity! I understand now, what you meant by "mixing". I watched your latest video yesterday, and you happened to mention that while you have all of those beautiful Le Rez colors, people don't need them all and in fact can mix them, and answered my question then by saying you would do a color mixing/blending video soon. That would be great, I can't wait to see it. By the way, the painting you made on the video that posted yesterday is truly amazing! I recently purchased several pieces from Erika and Jeff from Artist Till Death, and one is a coaster Jeff aptly named "Fire Flower", and the painting you created is like the mother of the one I purchased. I was just choosing Le Rez colors to order last night with my daughter, and then we watched that video and I am so excited about the new colors you are working on....especially the blueberry color....it's gorgeous! I will be ordering very soon, as I am not liking using acrylic paints to color my resin, and I'm running low on India Inks! Have a great day! Thank you for your inspiration as well, it's because of you that I decided to try pouring with resin!
Tabitha Danger Hi Tabitha. I use it to pop the bubbles by heating the resin and allowing the bubbles to surface up. I also use it to move the pigments and create effects ❤
Hi Suzana. Greetings from Los Angeles!! So glad to find your channel. I wonder how long it takes for the art work to harden after pouring the resins. Thank you.
Gorgeous, all this does is makes me want more Le Rez pigments and pastes......Thank you Suzana for making such a wonderful product and making it possible for us to get it here in the US and making it affordable.
Feel like the camera cut off at the most important part 😐
Yenis Gonzalez Sorry😥😥😥
I completely agree. How did the art go from meh to amazing? the heat or a blower or what? And why did you pour 2 different kinds of resin? how much time does it need to get dry? Why use powder as colour, is it effective? where can you buy it? what is that powder called?
Amazing art, but I really miss getting properly guided.
Nathalia Candáz Hi Nathalia, you need to mix resin itself+resin hardener, so it is not actually 2 resins, it is part a and part b that always need to go together. You find the resin kits with both of them :)
Nathalia Candáz it’s Le’Rez powder pigment. It’s an Australian product. This lady has a link to her shop where she distributes the colours
Fernanda Félix Schwarzbeck why were they not added equal parts
This is gorgeous and you can see the mother of pearl punk that you created. I love it and I will be trying it.
Just beautiful!!! Your daughter is one lucky little girl to have a talented mom. Hope you'll post that table you'll be doing for her.
Gorgeous. Fun to watch you create your designs.
I am a bit confused. The name of the video was tutorial for beginners however there was a ton of information that was not explained or left out
Very nice, beautiful colors thanks for sharing.
This is absolutely stunning!
What happened between 27:22 and 27:23 - when the camera cut off a major difference happened during that time. What was done during that time it was cut off that caused such a dramatic difference?
Hi. Can you tell me what kind of epoxy you use because the stuff use does not run as freely as yours. Great Piece!
You are so talented!
Really good.
I too had the same problem with my warm white, glad you showed a detailed mix however I did try it your way exactly however better but not the best appeared smoother until nearly the end. From now on I will grind it finer and use.

really does look like a geode :)
Ahhh, I know now what I want to do. What a beautiful art, useful as well. You can apply it on everyday use items
This was an amazing demonstration!! Beautiful work!! Thank you, I can’t wait to try it!
Would love to see you do the table when you do that. Glad to see you are back.
Hi and thank you for sharing your process with us!!! I am a HUGE fan! -And new to resin art. So beautiful
How long does it take to dry? Thanks 😘😘😘😍😍😍
Love your work do you seal the project with more resin
Great question. I usually don't apply a clear layer of resin over a finished piece, unless there are dints and imperfections that I need to cover😉
@@suzanadancks thank you so much for getting back with me
Im in love with it! Im definitely gonna recreate it soon!!
That’s beautiful
Funny how when you were pouring the colors they didn't look like anything - in fact, i was thinking "those colors are all too close together in value - how many teals, blues, peacocks, greens can you use in one pour??" I never knew that you can do this with resin! It’s stunning!
So how did it go from a bunch of circles to the incredible ending piece? Is this the underside of the resin or did you go back over and manipulate it once it started hardening?? Very intrigued. I can't wait to try!
What do you specifically use as a binder? or did you in this video
WONDERFULL!!!!!!!!!!
I've never done this before but want to try. Why do you torch it?
That's really fabulous!
Thank you so much 😃
Beautiful!
So much depth to this piece....beautiful!!
What is that clear liquid that you used? Beautiful colors too..
Sabrina A. Thank you. It's Epoxy Resin.❤❤❤
I have just found you I am hooked and subscribed love your art.
I’m wondering how I would make plum? I’m hoping I have some of your colours that I have would do it until I get sugar plum
Did you use a blower or just tilting?
Hey Suzana, beautiful as to be expected from all your work. Can I ask, did the paint settle like this without you manipulating it (anymore than what was shown with the torch)?
It settled beautifully. The display pic is the dried up piece. Thank you for your comment 🤗
Oh, that's nice! Very different than when you started it!!
Are those two different projects? The first project that took us to near the end of the video just looked like sloppy circles. The camera cuts off and we get to see the final result...which looks nothing like what was being worked on before the reveal. I feel bamboozled!
Yep, I'm confused
You are the MASTER of the GEODE‼️ So Beautiful.
This is beautiful! What binder did you use to mix with the powder?🎨
I believe the missing step is that a hairdryer was used to blend the colours, but I'm not sure. It's just what I'm seeing on other projects getting similar effects.
I love your videos! You go over everything so well and in a calm way. Thank you.
I’ve certainly missed your great videos. So good to see you.
Dear Mark
I would like to make this table but not with shiny coat. It is for an eating table and I would like to have it matt. Can you suggest any product? Tks
Very ethereal and pleasing to theeye. Thanks.
My pleasure. Thank you very much🤗🤗🤗
I’m going to order your pigments but I’m just wondering what resin you used and where you got it. Thanks!
It's beautiful! How much approximately do you think it would cost to make one of these?
$50-$60
Yes please make video for mixing colors!!
So pretty
Absolutely stunning. What resin do you use to enjoy such long working time before it starts to cure?
How did you get them to meld together like that?? I feel like that part got left out
Not deliberately, believe me! It was frustrating seeing that part of the video was missing as I would , personally luke to know how I got to the end point being that this was done years ago.
I used the tilting and heating technique, that I do know that .🤔😪🤗
What did you use for a binder?
I just loved the effect!! But I really would like to know what kind of resin is that. Does anybody know?
I use MAD Artist Epoxy Resin. 🤗
OMG... absolutely stunning 😍😍💜✨😉
Wow!! Love it 😍
Beautiful
what binder do you use please?
It would be nice teach us how how you mix the colours.
What type of colour you use? Acrylic or what?
Stunning !!
I hope I can ask a question here...I noticed you mixed the Resin 2 to 1, I guess I must be confused, isn't it always mixed 1 to 1?
Karen Levine Great question. Resin comes in diferent mixing ratios, usually 1:1 or 2:1 but there are other resins which mix in other ways. Always read the ratio instructions on the bottles.
Wow so beautiful 😍
💜💜💜
When it you first started out, i was like, i don't know...
But the end result is totally wow😘
"Brilliant Suzie"| A very good tutorial and very helpful, gonna give this a try for sure. love your videos
How did u get the scar on your arm?
hello, did you use a cotton or nylon canvas, for your painting ?
Do you buy resin that doesn't burn your lungs or make you faint? I had an issue today with that
Can i use acrylic paint instead of the powdery pigments?
Farah Alshami Yes. 10% paint 90% resin. If you add too much it'll ruin the resin.
You talk about mixing with a binder. What is that?
The EPP Binder is a product created by my chemist for use with pigments meant for use in epoxy resin. You can find it in my store at Le Rez Expressions website
How do you know how much resin and hardener to mix?
It should say on the bottle and if not, you should contact the supplier.
I see the shimmer 😍😍😍
Magnificent ❤..but The final version is alot different from the one u started..did u made another one?
omg love that gold, what brand is it????
Would love to see a video of how you mix your colours!!
authia31 Definitely planning to do it soon😉
Does anyone know where to buy resin in Canada? I can only find small quantities that cost a fortune.
Beautifulllll patterns..
Did u use a layer of clear resin after all the colours dried or do they naturally produce this glossy effect on top ?
Starburst shimmery pigment? Brand and product name please. Can you post a link?
Edie Wood www.ecwid.com/store/store12137524/STAR-BURST-SHIMMER-super-shimmery-transparent-Epoxy-Paste-35g-p105161129
Suzana Dancks, Do Starburst Shimmer and Angel White have the same lacing / celling ability?
Suzana Dancks thank you, I placed a big order!
Edie Wood Thank you Edie😍
Andrea Morin The Angel White is just amazing for creating cells and lacing. The Star-Burst shimmer creates the shimmer, no lacing effects due to the transparency.
How did you form the shapes?
What is the liquid you added to the powder?
Is the blow torch step necessary? If yes if there an alternative?
You can use the heat gun instead.
Did you tilt it or is that just from torching it and letting it sit and do its thing? Thanks for your videos by the way! You have really inspired me to give this a try! is it possible to do this on glass?
Yes ofcourse. Just prime your glass first.💜💗💖💞❣
Love
Beautiful 💚
Why do you torch and for how long
This is beautiful! Is this particular one for sale?
Amazing I just got inspired thanks a lot 😍
That’s gorgeous Susana
Anyone know specific resin mix she used?
👏👏👏
Heat gun or torch?
Torch to pop the bubbles and heat gun to move the resin 😉
What products are you using?
Wondering if something is wrong w my computer. Is their volume??
Beautiful colours Susana I am from the uk and I am interested in buying some of the colour pigments how to I go about that .

ohh and i thought epoxy and resing should be a 50/50 ratio? Im confused
So beautiful. I have never used resin but I want to. Do you use the torch to dry it or just move the paints?
Tabitha Danger Hi Tabitha. I use it to pop the bubbles by heating the resin and allowing the bubbles to surface up. I also use it to move the pigments and create effects ❤
Hi Suzana. Greetings from Los Angeles!! So glad to find your channel. I wonder how long it takes for the art work to harden after pouring the resins. Thank you.
I wish the camera didn’t cut off at the important parts
I know. I'm kicking myself gor that
