Gina, I just heard of you this evening. I looked you up on Instagram and had the pleasure to see so many amazing pieces. I love your work! I also love the fact that you are so willing to teach it. I have met so many people that refuse to give you tips or share any knowledge yet you are extremely generous with your knowledge. May God continue to bless you with amazing talent.
I don't know anything but I've watched about 200 of these videos...I love love the way you slowly tilt the canvas. Your work is amazing! I love watching the paint move during the entire process. Thanks for talking and thanks for showing everything in real time!
I not only love watching this... I love that you spoke softly, and explained in detail each step... You are a great artist, and teacher. Thank YOU for sharing this tutorial.
Omg, I had to back it up a bunch of times, I just couldn't believe it when all the light spots appeared. They remind me of lily pads in a surreal pond. I'm so in love, the way that it's physics and not a hand directly deciding how it's going to look reminds me of natural crystals and gemstones. This is so awesome!
I've just started using Masonite instead of canvas. Nail it to framing underneath and 2" on sides - you can't tell the difference and then you don't have to worry about sagging with the really big ones! Love the piece!
There is DEFINITELY science involved. I've done test swatches of all my paints. The ones that have a matte finish are most likely to cell without the aid of silicone. Probably why I'm obsessed with this art form is the scientific aspect.
Wow! This is amazing to watch. At first there was so much purple I thought it would be messed up. It is amazing to watch all the colors evolve!!! I never would have expected such a beautiful piece of art to evolve out of a measuring cup full of paint!!! Just incredible Gina!!!!
Omg .. that gave me LIFE! I think it's BEAUUUTIFUL .. I cannot believe it was just floetral. The quality of the paint must play a part. I've just gathered supplies to try a tiny one. If I can get the results I'm looking for I'll go for about the size you just did or a size smaller. Fantastic job doll, you should be proud. And good luck with your other painting being shown :))
Oh that's beautiful! The colours!!! How patient you are - struggling with that huge canvas and goodness knows how many ounces of crazy paint. Fabulous!
Oh goodness! That’s gorgeous! I’ve also heard your music and I’ve gotta say, you’ve got the pipes! You preach it when you sing it! Thanks for including us in these pours. 🦋
That is gorgeous! Wow, those last stubborn corners. I felt as if I were holding my breath for the paint to get to them. This reminds me of dichroic glass.
Kelcia Wheeler Gina you have created a master piece . This is a s real special pour and I just love love it . You are so talented and I hope you give us many more videos. Thank you so much.
sooo stunning, those ripples of yellow and blue green and almost peachy orangeish tones... makes it look like opal or mother of pearl, absolutely gorgeous how the contrast alone gives it the look of iridescent shine but it’s all just mixed paint colors
This is one of my favorites of yours. I love the green and the yellow, how they stand out among the purple, and that gorgeous little galaxy-like cloud in the middle of the purple. It's like space, like a nebula, and I love it
thought this was click bait at first, I was wrong, amazing how the other colours started to do their thing eventually and not let all that purple steal the show, and what a lovely mess you made also
Love these colors. No matter how you plan the order you layer your paint, the paint does it’s own thing. I guess that’s what makes this genre so interesting!!great painting!
Stunning piece. I really like the way you got the yellow to show through. I think i must have too much paint on my canvas because I lose my yellows and oranges almost completely. Thank you for sharing your techniques. :D
I find the red and black tends to over power very quickly, but then I haven't done a lot. I'm only just starting, so researching like mad while my studio is getting lights in and then guests lol. :D
I think it depends on which yellows and oranges one is using. If the pigment is dense (like with Cadmium Yellow) the colour will sink and disappear. If the pigment is light (like with Hansa Yellow) the colour will float and overpower.
So happy seeing this come to life...love it! Thought I would share a trick...regarding the base coat. I can’t get the illustrious ‘Floetrol’ 😢but I do have access to other paint conditioners. Using their properties as the basis for this trick, I simply add half water/half paint conditioner to a spray bottle. I still base coat the vertical edges of canvases and feather it a couple inches onto the top, then just as I am ready to-add paint-I mist the surface lightly a couple times and continue on creating. 😊 It works so well...smooth and silky finishes each time!
Gina DeLuca ..No not at all..it is actually just a misting. You can’t really tell it’s there since the canvas is quite absorbent. Your hand should not be dripping wet after touching it-only damp. It’s a old technique-a Friends Uncle suggested it!
Darlene Baldwin Sounds fantastic! What do you use? I can’t get floetrol, but nobody has come up with any alternatives wherever I look...someone suggested PVA glue, again something I can’t easily get, although I can find “school glue” but it’s a bit thick, so I dilute it a little, but then it cracks when dry. A helpful friend brought me something from NZ that turned out to be a thinner for oil paint, not an extender for latex/acrylics; it didn’t work😝 although the gesture was lovely! 😂 Anyway, bonza on your technique, and cheers!
Thank you. Haters gonna hate. I think someone subscribed just to give a thumbs down. They happen within minutes of upload. That's sad to me, to carry that much negativity around.
I was mezmorized by your paitient process and allowing me to gather it all.. The result is everything...and you made it happen. It was beautiful. Thank you so much.
What is so wonderful is I feel I am finally an artist when I paint using these techniques! It's so satisfying and I do believe it actually is better than therapy! So satisfying ,everyone a real work of art
First pour I was : "humm too much purple" And when she started to mix the canvas I was: "wow where did that color come from?" And in the end I was: "ok, where can I buy it?"
This may sound odd but the finished background brought to mind the spring from the book "Tuck Everlasting". I'd buy it as is just for that factor alone lol.
Simply Incredible! Is there a chart somewhere on the net that tells you how much paint you need, or a formula to figure the requirements for different sizes? That would be soooo helpful. Thanks.
Whhhoooaaa that purple is gorgeous!!! And the greens coming through is just amazing! I did not expect this result in the first place. really stunning!!!!
I’ve seen all of your videos and love your works. I’ve always watched hundreds (if not mor) of these pours & I always come back to this one. This is by far the most stunning!!! I would buy this one for sure! Absolutely gorgeous.
That is so absolutely STUNNING GINA! Just amazed at your talent(s)! Your talent pours out of your pores! And...you can sing too! Wow. Wow & Just wowie!
My new passion is acrylic pours-currently I belong to the "where are the huge cells club"....your demo brought joy to my heart and tears to my eyes. My group was hung up on the use of silicone and ratios and adding water, mineral spirits, glue and car lubricant products, odd hair conditioning products, heat, fire, oxygen.the temperature and maybe the position of the moon. Who knew. It is gravity! The understanding of paint properties and gravity. Lovely! I love color even more now. Thank you.
Wow, I can't believe that I am on TH-cam being absolutely Fascinated by watching paint dry! Gorgeous Results.
Haha! I know what you mean! I'm usually so impatient, but I find this so zen, whether watching or creating.
I don't know about any of you other watchers feel, but I was watching paint flow into a stunning piece of art. The colors are stunning!!!!!

Thank you. Very kind of you to say.
I think this is one of the best pours I've ever watched! Great job!
Thank you!

Yes! That’s why I love this medium. Working in tandem with science.
I love the green 'river' that explodes into the purple sea! Very nice.
Out of ALL of the pours I have seen, this is one of my absolute favorites!!
I've just started using Masonite instead of canvas. Nail it to framing underneath and 2" on sides - you can't tell the difference and then you don't have to worry about sagging with the really big ones! Love the piece!
What I love about this - it's art, not science :)
There is DEFINITELY science involved. I've done test swatches of all my paints. The ones that have a matte finish are most likely to cell without the aid of silicone. Probably why I'm obsessed with this art form is the scientific aspect.
Looks like something magical under the sea! Gorgeous!

Beautiful. I paint too, but not as good as you. I learn a lot by watching you .
Wicked, wicked color palette. You just can't stop outdoing yourself. It's absolutely a beautiful piece of art.
Absolutely stunning! I love the process going from a big blob of paint to a beautiful creation! Just amazing!
This is 100% my favorite of all the acrylic pours on youtube... wow thank you for sharing.
Amazing...the colours are great together and refreshing to see negative space that isn't black or white.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌
Wow! Just beautiful and the deep purple with the bright yellow ! Fantastic!
Gorgeous! Glad I found you Gina! We plan. The paint does it’s own thing!
This is awesome and so are you. Love you're art work and keep making videos.
Thank you!
Youre welcome :-)
I have been binge watching your videos all night. These paintings make me so happy lol. They are so pretty!

I have seen hundreds, maybe thousands of pours, this is my absolute favorite. Thanx 4 Sharing.
Thank you!
Oh that's beautiful! The colours!!! How patient you are - struggling with that huge canvas and goodness knows how many ounces of crazy paint. Fabulous!
They definitely get more challenging the bigger they are!
You brave lady!! xx
Wowwww. There’s all your yellow! Amazing! 👏👏👏
That is definitely worthy of a stand-alone painting. You did an awesome thing!
Oh goodness! That’s gorgeous! I’ve also heard your music and I’ve gotta say, you’ve got the pipes! You preach it when you sing it! Thanks for including us in these pours. 🦋
Thank you very much!
That is gorgeous! Wow, those last stubborn corners. I felt as if I were holding my breath for the paint to get to them. This reminds me of dichroic glass.
Oh those corners were stubborn! 😂
Kelcia Wheeler Gina you have created a master piece . This is a s real special pour and I just love love it . You are so talented and I hope you give us many more videos. Thank you so much.
Was anyone else holding their breath whilst the pouring was being done...stunning. Bx
Bixxy Nash Yup.
Bixxy Nash afraid so..lol😬
Guilty. I hold my breath, tilt my phone and/or head. It's like a community event! Great fun and learning experience.
sooo stunning, those ripples of yellow and blue green and almost peachy orangeish tones... makes it look like opal or mother of pearl, absolutely gorgeous how the contrast alone gives it the look of iridescent shine but it’s all just mixed paint colors
Thank you!
Wow Gina, I never would have thought this would have come out of all that purple! Awesome result! 💕
I'm as shocked as y'all are! I thought that yellow was gone for good!
EXACTLY! I cannot recreate this to save my life. Seven tries...no such luck.

Hey Gina. I’m glad you joined the ColourArte team. Your work is amazing. You’re now one of my favorite artists
thought this was click bait at first, I was wrong, amazing how the other colours started to do their thing eventually and not let all that purple steal the show, and what a lovely mess you made also

Stunning piece. I really like the way you got the yellow to show through. I think i must have too much paint on my canvas because I lose my yellows and oranges almost completely. Thank you for sharing your techniques. :D
They either overpower or disappear
I find the red and black tends to over power very quickly, but then I haven't done a lot. I'm only just starting, so researching like mad while my studio is getting lights in and then guests lol. :D
Stunning beautiful piece
I've read that the paints' weight has something to do with why certain colors tend to sink below where you can't see them.
I think it depends on which yellows and oranges one is using. If the pigment is dense (like with Cadmium Yellow) the colour will sink and disappear. If the pigment is light (like with Hansa Yellow) the colour will float and overpower.
Wow! Didnt think it would turn out that beautiful with the dark colors but wow!.
I'm just seeing you for the first time, I really love this !! Great job , thanks
Thank you!
I constantly see this video and click on it every time. One of my favorite paintings I’ve ever seen. Hands down you’re incredible, woman.
Thank you so very much! ❤️

No problems with peeling?
Gina DeLuca ..No not at all..it is actually just a misting. You can’t really tell it’s there since the canvas is quite absorbent. Your hand should not be dripping wet after touching it-only damp. It’s a old technique-a Friends Uncle suggested it!
What a great idea!
Darlene Baldwin, What kind of paint conditioner do you use? Your technique sounds intriguing. Anyplace we can see your creations?
Darlene Baldwin Sounds fantastic! What do you use? Looks like a galaxy of sorts. Very beautiful.

I don't understand people giving any thumbs down. This is a GREAT video and painting.
Thank you. Haters gonna hate. I think someone subscribed just to give a thumbs down. They happen within minutes of upload. That's sad to me, to carry that much negativity around.
Don't mind about the negative votes or even think, they came from the envy hearts ! Forget about them.
That's stunning! I love it!
So pretty! I love it!
I was mezmorized by your paitient process and allowing me to gather it all.. The result is everything...and you made it happen. It was beautiful.

This looks like Gilly Kube’s pearls. Absolutely beautiful!
First pour I was : "humm too much purple"
And when she started to mix the canvas I was: "wow where did that color come from?"
And in the end I was: "ok, where can I buy it?"
Lol! Thank you 🙏
This looks like a total techno-color coral reef - totally cool!!!!
This may sound odd but the finished background brought to mind the spring from the book "Tuck Everlasting". I'd buy it as is just for that factor alone lol.
I agree completely! I'd like to mount it on my bedroom ceiling!
I really love this! It's like something you would see in space.
OMG that is beautiful......awesome
One of the most beautiful pours I have seen. Acrylic pour can be muddy at times but this one. Amazing!
Just WOW 🤤👏💖
This a gorgeous Gina! You are so amazing with these large pieces! And NO Silicone...YOU ROCK.
Beautiful!
This looks like a piece that would LITERALLY cost hundreds of dollars! Simply beautiful! 💜💛💗💙🧡💚
Simply Incredible! Is there a chart somewhere on the net that tells you how much paint you need, or a formula to figure the requirements for different sizes? That would be soooo helpful. Thanks.
I found one when I googled "paint_ amount_ needed_ for_ canvas.jpg". If it doesn't come up under the regular google page go to google images.
There is one in the Facebook group Go Make Some Art in both metric and standard
That is better than I expected from the pour. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
how do you prepare a large canvas for shipping?
Wow! wonderful cells and beautiful colours, love it!
Stunning. Love it.
Thank you!
Oh my GOD!!! That is absolutely stunning!!!! Wow! So inspired
Do you calculate how much paint you need? If so, how do I do it, luv your work
Absolutely Mesmerizing.... you could just stare into this & become lost in thought. ❤️👍🏼

😂me too
Max wee I’m tilting my head!😀
Tilted my head
I do the same thing! 😂😂😂
Lol. I do too. My daughter came through the room the other day and asked if I was helping. 😁
Oh my, how do you make such a beautiful design look so easy??? And i can’t believe those cells with no silicone, gorgeous!💜
What is your pouring medium?
Floetrol
Gina DeLuca thank you!!! That is what I use too! Lol
is it just Floetrol or water as well?
Sandra Rizkalla yea is it both ? And how much
I used floetrol & still can’t even get one cell. What am I doing wrong lol I’m soooo frustrated
It's sooooo gorgeous, I just can't get over it. I'm gonna try this out today and film it! I hope mine's HALF as beautiful as this!!
I'm obsessed with the colours. great job.
This woman is the High Priestess of color magic. Amazing.
I’ve seen all of your videos and love your works. I’ve always watched hundreds (if not mor) of these pours & I always come back to this one. This is by far the most stunning!!! I would buy this one for sure! Absolutely gorgeous.
Wow!!!! That one came out splendidly!!!! What a beautiful technique. It is mesmerizing!
That is so absolutely STUNNING GINA! Just amazed at your talent(s)! Your talent pours out of your pores! And...you can sing too! Wow. Wow & Just wowie!
This might be my favourite pour artwork ever.
Lol the struggle. 😂Didn't expect the color would be that beautiful. Awesome!
Amazingly beautiful. It's breathing stopper . Heaven.
This is an amazing piece!! I really love how you didn't use silicone and still got sooo many cells.
My new passion is acrylic pours-currently I belong to the "where are the huge cells club"....your demo brought joy to my heart and tears to my eyes.
