you get more than just a few,...they will fruit for years. i havent tried log production yet,.. it takes longer than bag production but you dont have to worry about being super clean like indoor cultivation.

Some woods are better then others I hear oak is very good, Maple works well. Im sure with alittle internet reserch you chould find out. I think you can use most woods though Good luck :)

Not sure, but one option might be chip them and compost them then sell the compost?

can i use any kind of tree to produce shiitake mushrooms?

Cool to see this large scale production, but their mushrooms look dried up and dinky. Grow your own for the absolute best quality.

@Sjokobaggyp Yes I wanted to grow my own... I thought to myself... I wish I could just get some smooth stone or dirt in a small dark room. Real world sucks...

alf meel your spam advertisement is hilarious!! first, you try make it sound like you are not trying to promote something for your own financial gain by saying ''if anyone wants to learn *HOW I DO IT*'' ... then you give the name of the product / service, ... then you contradict yourself completely by saying ... ''*MY BUDDY GOT GREAT SUCCESS WITH IT*''.
Think that over a few times bro
