I loved on KFC in Cape Coast 😂
Good information on preparation. Wow that police stop and fire extinguisher stuff was amazing. My lord!!
Yes it was🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
Great info sis. Looks like you need a video about all you need to carry in your car no matter how ridiculous. Those officers are off the chain but truly knowing helps in preparing for the shenanigans.
@@herregalness7461 I’ll have to get the official list of what is needed lol 😂
Great information you provided. I have started a journal with Ghana Travel Tips to remember. Please keep the tips coming. Thanks for sharing
I’m so glad that it’s helpful to people like you 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾 Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾

Greetings guys, Thank you for always informing the listners on things going on , the good, bad and ugly. For me the extortion will be the worst especially growing up with honesty and training my children the same....this will be a hard pill to swallow, but I guess sometimes you win , sometimes you loose and its about picking your battles. Any way Kinza I want to be like you when I grow up, you show restraint and patience with a smile . lol.😊
It’s reality here on the ground 🇬🇭🙏🏿🫶🏾 Thank you 🙏🏿
@@missamanda539 I agree totally. Thank you, Kinza Babe!

America you pay a lot for a visa to. I payed almost 300 dollars for mine. So it depends I will get mine on arrival for the Gambia the next time.

Excellent tips Kinza, We were in ghana earlier this year,. We had a Uba taken us around. We when to Cape Coast , on our way back to Accra we were stopped several times by the police. At no point during the stops they asked for fire extinguisher or cutlass 😂😂
Thank you for those tips. I understand that the Multiple Vista is for five years ? Greetings from the Netherlands.
You won’t believe how much time we got stopped on the way back. Most of our time was spent dealing with the police yesterday. We got home so late because of all the delays 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
Kinza you Guy's need to get a pickup truck for those kinda road man.but I love all the Progress you have made is your second Project gonna be a Rental.
This house is not my project. We are over seeing a job for the owner 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾

lol 😂 I didn’t even notice 😂😂
Shame on those Ghana police men for extorting Ghanaians and Non-Ghanaians. The Ghanaian government should fix that problem
They’re not going to unless the people stop paying them the bribes 🤔🤔
@@kinzababe1 Yes that is a part of the solution. Punishment from the government for asking for bribe is also a part of the solution
Also bring clean $100 dollar bills. Go to your bank and try to get $100 bills no older then 2012. They need to be like new so you get the highest rate.
That’s people say but I didn’t see the difference. 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
No. The best and seamless way for the Visa is Arkansas. I got mine back in 7 days, my mom in 5 days.
Yes, you are right. That’s about how fast my son got his.🙏🏿🇬🇭❤️
NYC consult took 2 weeks.
Ok I didn’t know about that location, good to know 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
I remember when I first started coming to Ghana I had to get a yellow fever shot.
Yes, it’s still a requirement but you can get it at the airport when you get here.🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
@@kinzababe1 I never want to pay anything at the airport because they tax a person too much
when you say transportation, should you bring your car or is it best to buy one when you get there. Was wondering .
You can do either it’s a matter of choice. However shipping a car to Ghana can be very expensive you have to research this really well. I choose to get mine here 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
@@kinzababe1 thanks kinza
Good day!!! ❤️🙏🏽👏🏾👍🏾
@@evehasmanyfaces3248 Good day 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾Hope all is well.
I agree the police stop is bad, but I would rather deal with them vs Mexican police. The treatment is worse and you pay more. Stay safe.
It doesn’t matter what country it’s bad🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
Marwning from the VI...... That police stop really triggered me with anger, the corruption. I am seeing people complaining about this. Why is this illegal stop condoned and can they be reported to the Chief Officer or at the office? I think the mental preparation and the food is my biggest concern. I am a picky eater and don't like spicy, tomato paste foods....lol. They need to enforce the law concerning these overloading of trucks. You never know when one driving next to you will turn over.....scary.
You go report them they will try to extort you too.😂😂 the corruption starts at the top🤔🤔🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
@@kinzababe1 Really a hurtful situation, where everyone getting "money under the table" to do their jobs.
Queen Everytime I come to Ghana we get stopped by the police. The last time I was there in March, we were at a red light and when it turned green we pulled off. The police was standing on the right side flagged us down saying we ran the red light. He said he had it on video. I said really, let me see it. We had to drive him to the station were we gave him money to let us go about our day. Instead of just saying when he pulled us over, we're collecting money because we don't get paid properly, he made up this big lie. I'm time enough for them 😮😮😮
It’s wasted most of our day. We at 7 to 8 time on the way home some did complete search and asked for money. Some just let us pass. We ended up getting home so late. I see why the locals just pay the bribe and go about their business. It’s a time waster❗️🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
Name the officer put the name in the chat. That is not right.
I live here! lol 😂
You say a mouthful with this one. The extortion is worrisome. Wow! And as an American you have no recourse. It’s seems to be lawlessness to a degree. The authorities get to extort you.
Its corruption at its fullest 🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
@ yeah, that a hard pill to swallow. With all the positives that is a major negative.
@@evehasmanyfaces3248 true, but on the other hand, what is it?$2🤷🏽♀️
@@Super_shady233 yes, I understand but it’s difficult to wrap my head around it. When I used to travel to Honduras and the Dominican Republic my family resolved to that’s what happened at the airport and if you threw them a few dollars like a tip then they would not rummage all through your luggage or confiscate items but that’s the extent of my experience with anything like that. I wish you both the best and hope this type of extortion stops.
$2 is a lot when you get stop 7 times driving from cape coast. These drivers don’t make that much to keep paying bribes. These officers have a salary they get paid just to stop people and take their money.
you cant stan up for you right as a manlike shady just did in america
You are so right!!🙏🏿🇬🇭🫶🏾
