Particularly the Old Town Hall being reconstructed (0:50) after it was severely damaged at the end of the Second World War. And btw, Pražská YMKA (6:28) means Prague Y.M.C.A. The banner at 7:57 contains a rhyming advertisement for the local cafe, milk bar and a restaurant where you can refresh yourself and reach your new fitness potential.

Wonderful video! I loved exploring Prague. It was never bombed in WWII, so all the old buildings are still intact. The Catholic Hapsburgs presided in the castle, but a lot of Protestants and Jews lived on the other side of the river. A lot of diversity and cultural creativity there over the centuries.
Sadly it was bombed (as you can actually see on the state of the town hall in 0:50 and 2:37). But the bombings were rather small compared to other Europan cities, that's true.
The nazis did It? Well, how convenient, right? The truth is the Allies bombed the city several times, first the British and then the Americans. The most famous of this bombings is the so called "Saint Valentine raid", on february 14, 1945, and the U.S. Air Force bombed the city for the last time one month later, on march. The damages, however, were rather limited when compared to the destruction suffered by German cities.
I was born and raised in Prague and sometimes I dream about seeing the city during those times. They were hard times, but we also have our challenges. We may be blessed enough not to have war, but the spark of the city is largely gone with capitalism and excess tourism, all the McDonald's, Starubcks, Primarks and other shit that noone really needs. We are so disconnected from all the beauty that Prague once was. But with that being said, it still remains one of the most beautiful, as well as one of the most green cities in all of Europe. Thank you for this beautiful video.

I can't believe that my grandpa was born during that time. His birth certificate literally says born in Protektorát Čechy a Morava which is crazy for me as it is something we've been taught in history class. He is now 80 years old.

In time 2:44 is The Supreme Court building in Prague. I've lived on this street since I was born. The building still stands and is still the same 😀
