These Siege and Kingdom retools of the same mold are one of the best Transformers *toys* they have ever made at Classics scale. The simple but fun transformation sequence; posability; no backpack or kibble; the hood is the chest and so much more. It is just a fantastic toy.
Reason 4: I love the core Sideswipe figure and now feel compelled to collect almost every version of it. I didn't bother with Netflix Sideswipe and Red Alert but I definitely have every other version. Also, I'm Canadian and I ordered the Kingdom 2-Pack with Sideswipe and Skywarp...

I’m not sure where Kingdom Red Alert will be available in my country but I’m definitely going to try and get the Kingdom one because the red arms and thighs on the Kingdom version just looks so much better than Siege’s white arms and limbs IMO.
This is now my reason for going after every variant of the lambros lol. Within a week of having Siege Sideswipe I've already picked up Siege Red Alert & Gen Select Deep Cover lol. Such a great looking figure all around.
4:40 you forgot step 4, be lucky enough for Amazon to actually honor your preorder and not string you along for a months before cancelling it. (Jokes aside, is there enough clearance on the black hinges on the sides of car mode to paint them white (or red for Sideswipe) without scraping during transformation? They're the only gripe I have about this Earth mode upgrade.)
I have to say, I preferred the original vehicle mode. It looked like a modern redesign of the Countach to me, which I liked. I will say that I like the line on the back of this mold, though - it reminds me of the rear lightbar on the 2008 Dodge Challenger and the one of the current Charger.

It’s length, depth, and humorous text notes sprinkled throughout (Bumblebee, Bumblebee, Bumblebee) put it on par with any other video you’ve made without the “Mini” descriptor in the title. I, too, am a fan of the robot mode color scheme. I also squint in a discerning way at the eyes between the two figures. (Ssssssomething is different, but what, I dunno. Could just be the way we perceive the color of the eyes since he’s got a new head-color next to it) and I as well am a fan of the Earth-styled vehicle mode. However, since my wife “Frowns at Me in a Particular Way” when I try to double-up on same-named figures, I think I’ll be passing on this one myself. The mold has amazing utility, and is clearly the standard to which all TF figures should be going forward, and while I’d love to have a matching set of Lamborghinis, the Siege figure still satisfies me in all the important ways as a collector and fan. All in all, Eyebrow you beautiful bastard, you’ve done it again with an awesome video. I’ll always get a hit of dopamine clicking “Like” on your work. Keep it up.

Epic review The Lazy Eyebrow!!!!!!! I had no idea Red Alert had so much black painted parts. I may get a 2nd copy and paint the hood and robot head black and turn the mold into Clampdown. Keep on being amazing.
One weird upgrade I always imagine to the figure would be to make the backpack rotate a full 180 to have the windshield facing down. It isn't G1 accurate, but it would make a smoother build.

I kinda want one but I'm tempted to use it as a base for a Clamp Down, which would also allow me to repeat as few characters as possible...but at this point, I still wonder if Clamp Down is on the way.
i'd throw out reason number 4... because you have the ability to take out pins and swap the red thighs for white ones of siege and keep the elbow red but swap the forearms for the white ones of siege making it pretty good g1 figure... just need a 3rd party spoiler that fits this new leg mold. (doesnt look like the 3rd part siege spoilers will fit this one)
I broke my siege red alert so it was a happy coincidence they brought out the kingdom one. also I read that the robot colour pallet is a mix between the original toy and his IDW MTMTE appearance

This was a mini review? I don't think you understand what is meant by "mini". Sure it doesn't have skits, but at 11+ minutes, this is just as in-depth as any other review. Look at how many other bots you compared him to! I do think mini reviews are a great idea. Not everything requires the same investment of time. Have you watched any of the Transformer Reviews Done Quick (TRDQ) series? They are toight! Thanks for the wonderful review. I'm so glad you pointed out the light bar/door thing. well the production of a regular one is 1200 frames and takes nearly twice as long to edit, whereas this is 342 frames of footage with no special animations (the door is the exception here) beyond drive in, transform, articulate and transform out. thus the original idea of mini, but I'm seriously reconsidering the name and may retrotitle them if I can figure out something better. as is the top suggestion is "Half Motion Reviews"
Well if it is a version of the siege sideswipe mould than it should be amazing with a transformation that's as addicting as an average monster hunter (seriously when I first got siege sideswipe I could not stop transforming him for the first few days)

I just bought this figure from my local Walgreens and it was the last one they had,im really looking forward to adding red alert to my collection and im super pleased with him,granted this is my very first figure of the kingdom war for cybertron line as all of my previous figures were most of the siege toyline but nonetheless im a transformers die hard fan,if i want figures of my favorite characters from when i was a kid then mix and matching the different line ups is a small price to pay for nostalgia
Definetively number 3, I was looking for a shop in the EU that sold exclusives before it came known that Hasbro Pulse would finally start to deliver to Italy (until a couple of months ago it was only Germany and UK, because Hasbro is dumb) and I had found one shop that had the preorders for the exclusives I wanted and this in stock (at normal deluxe price too), so I added it to my order.
I liked the SEIGE lambo mold so much. I think this one is too similar to it, though, so no desire here, gratefully (too many great figures out there right now-need to triage them. PS I like the door thing how the light bar totally would block it from opening lol.
Well if I knew the earth modes were coming I never would have bought the Seige versions of any of them. I'm G1 raised. I know he's not entirely accurate to the cartoon, but the red limbs really set him apart from all the others using that mold
Out of curiosity, could you use siege sideswipe (or one of the many re-colors) and swap it on the kingdom red alert? Or if the revers ball joint is a issue, could you 3d print a double side ball joint?
I am in the US and have an Amazon acct. AND Sideswipe is still available for pre-order. That said I would really like a Kingdom Red Alert but don't have hope of finding in my local Walgreens. Would do some sort of exchange with my northern neighbors.
I just got back into Transformers, so missed Siege and sadly a lot of Earthrise. I'm hoping to get Kingdom Red Alert, but being exclusive makes my chances slim... I've already looked at two of the local Walgreens, and sadly no luck... There are a few more to go to, but I'm not holding my breath

I like the new red arms. I like it a lot more then I thought I would. I wouldn't say no to a spoiler, but like, I'm not too fussed about it not being included as Sunstreaker doesn't have one either. I'll probably buy a third party upgrade thing for one
I love the green plastic on the Netflix version and I prefer the red paint on that one too, but I will end up painting the limbs red for a little splash of color

I always tried to pronounce it as "Jigawatt," but reading it in the comic I always read it as Gigawatt because that's what the word is.
I believe that the soft G is an acceptable pronunciation (even more so in the 80s), just non-standard nowadays.

Well if I knew the earth modes were coming I never would have bought the Seige versions of any of them. I'm G1 raised. I know he's not entirely accurate to the cartoon, but the red limbs really set him apart from all the others using that mold
The back on the figure is actually accurate to the G1 toy, so yea just to get it out
Out of curiosity, could you use siege sideswipe (or one of the many re-colors) and swap it on the kingdom red alert? Or if the revers ball joint is a issue, could you 3d print a double side ball joint?
the head is the exact same ball joint. tested and confirmed swappable. I know what you're thinking and I beat ya to it haha

That said I would really like a Kingdom Red Alert but don't have hope of finding in my local Walgreens. Would do some sort of exchange with my northern neighbors.
I just got back into Transformers, so missed Siege and sadly a lot of Earthrise. I'm hoping to get Kingdom Red Alert, but being exclusive makes my chances slim... I've already looked at two of the local Walgreens, and sadly no luck... There are a few more to go to, but I'm not holding my breath
I haven't seen anyone in the states get it unless they bought it off of someone else (example would be like a toyshop in Singapore or a friend from Canada etc.)
A 4th point to get Red Alert would be he comes with all accessories (shoulder and gun). Siege one without the shoulder gun just didn’t feel right
The only thing I want toyhax to fix is to put the black and purple back on the shins, the grey just looks off

I like the new red arms. I like it a lot more then I thought I would. I wouldn't say no to a spoiler, but like, I'm not too fussed about it not being included as Sunstreaker doesn't have one either. I'll probably buy a third party upgrade thing for one

I love the green plastic on the Netflix version and I prefer the red paint on that one too, but I will end up painting the limbs red for a little splash of color

Hate those damn chest pegs on the Siege figures. So i'd want to replace them with that alone
I prefer to think of the Siege molds as post-Earth modes, rather than shanghaied into the pre-Earth setting like they did.
Even though I have 2 MP Red Alerts I'm very temped to buy both and put the white Siege limbs on Kingdom.
red alerts eyes look more shadowed in the kingdom mold.

I got kingdom red alert for 3 reasons the rarity and because I don't have siege and I the kingdom just looks more vibrant
