    Another great Video! I guess you made a very good choice. These forks are way better than the clamp on. Thanks for sharing!

    Very good video. After researching fork lifts I have decide on the 36” Frontier forks as well. Artillian are nice but ridiculously priced when shipping is added in. The front loader work platform requires a delicate touch to the hydraulic controls. Plus, a hydraulic failure could be scarey.
    Thanks again for your well done video.

    FYI, there is a sweet spot on the joystick that you can lift and curl/level at the same time so you don't have to tilt down so drastically on each sequence. It is splitting travel in half or diagonally lifting to the right/left depending on lifting or lowering.

    CPR is currently being performed on quarantined OSHA inspectors all over the country! 😁

      OSHA is a joke. They announce when they are coming and companies let their employees know before their inspections. They never inspect anything randomly and seldom find a thing.

    I agree about the clamp on forks. The worst implement I ever purchased

    As a fellow Firefighter may I suggest a seat harness at minimum with a couple of carabiner (real ones) and a short piece of 1/2 inch kermantile rope for a little fall protection. Maybe throw in a hard hat. Stay safe brother.

    Farm equipment dealers are open, they fall under the war powers act.
    Seems like my forks are used more than my bucket.

    FYI. Artillian stuff is made in the USA with USA steel. The other options you listed are from China.

    Love the idea for the carryall. A set of pallet forks has some many possibilities.

    Another nice video. Glad you got the forks, I know the clamp on ones are less expensive but limited in use. Forks are a must haveI for a tractor. I use my forks as much or more than the bucket

    They are great! My neighbor showed me the one he made several years ago, and I built one that since rotted out and I just got done with the new one all treated this time!

    Put candle wax on fork rails to make them slide left and right easy.

    Very helpful video, thanks! Has anyone considered using an IBC tote cage with a plywood bottom on forks for this kind of work?

    • @Retarded229
      @Retarded229 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use one it has a heavy duty plastic pallet so no need for plywood

    I like your idea of using your tractor and the tote to get the height you need to get the projects done safely. Thanks for the useful video. I wish I had your foresight!! Wayne from Wisconsin!,

    Thing I don't like about the JD forks is the lack of a 'back rack' on them. Most pallet forks come with a high enough rack on the back that you can tip things back onto the tractor hood (or in your lap) if you tilt them backward while up higher.
    Folks should also be aware John Deere uses a proprietary quick attach deal on their loaders that only works with John Deere stuff. (The reason you HAD to deal with JD dealer on those forks)
    Most other tractors have gone to SSQA (skid steer quick attach) setup on their tractros, and there is a world of aftermarket attachments set up with that standard.

    Wanna go a little higher? Flip those forks upside down. It’ll take some trickery getting the carryall on but you get what I’m talking about. I’m pretty sure ttwt did this in an episode?? Can’t remember but I do it with my titans occasionally. Your gonna love those forks!!

    I created a 4x8' pallet using Yellow wood 4x4 and some 2x6 oak. The tines of my pallet forks fit into long boxes and I built it on the forks then turned it over and mounted the board. It is useful to haul long limbs and a bunch of brush as well as anything else I can put on the pallet. It is heavy, so I don't put it up high. Nice video.

      You must have a tractor with a lot of lift with all that weight.

      When the weather is right, I'm going to try and run some underground romex to my shed. Going to try using a subsoiler mounted on the tractor. I have a gas line and sump pump drain to contend with.

      Great videos by the way! I blame you and tractor Tim for making me sell my bx and want a 1025r, I prob should change my name soon lol

      @@kubotaforever9453 , TTWT also has a "Kenny" Kabota. I haven't bought my tractor yet. Leaning toward a 2025. Been described as a 1025 on steroids. Also a series 1 1/2. Larger but not the big frame 2 series.

    If you're going to talk during a video shut the damn music off

    • @ataleofthreecabins1025
      @ataleofthreecabins1025  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, I use the music as the drone does not record audio and if there were audio problem during non drone footage. I usually spend a lot of time mixing the sound so it stays level and not over bearing. Take Care, Tom

      I'm not a great fan of the music myself, but it was tastefully done, and certainly not as offensive as your VERY smart-alec comment. Suggestion as you're "Travelin Thru" -- try being nice.
