- Only 8 months from their return from the Nordic series the XOVERLAND trucks are stuck in port in South Africa. The team must work through the critical delays of the expedition. In addition, the entire Croft family is on the full, two-month expedition. The seasoned 9-member team is the biggest and best yet, and that's exactly what's needed to get through this incredible 10-part journey.
The Crofts (Clay, Rachelle, Cyrus -17, Ryder -15, and Eli -13) join Dr. Jon, Richard Giordano, Ashley Giordano @DeskToGlory, and Peter Jr. VanStralen @EFRT on the ground. Local South African Christoff Eilard @GetOutGO takes the XO team in and shows them the ropes.
The three vehicles, Orion the ‘22 Toyota Tundra, Simba the ‘23 Toyota Sequoia, and Raven the ‘20 Toyota Tacoma are on the ground, stuck in port jail.

I've never been excited by Xoverland's videos, like other people seem to be. I just realised it's because they have such a different approach to overlanding. Not so much a meandering journey, more of a goal focused mission. It detracts from some of my favorite aspects of overland travel, but I imagine it's necessary to create videos of this production quality and to attract the sponsors they have.
I still appreciate the chance to see the sights. Thanks for more free entertainment!

Ive never seen a sunset like I have in Botswana. Maybe the nicest people in the world I’d ever met as well.
I am from Norway, now on vacation in Tanzania/Zanzibar while watching this, the first episode definitivt showcase how Africa is. The first episode was 10/10, epic cinematography , great music, great people and i can't wait until next episode, great job guys! 😊

IThere is no other channel on TH-cam or on TV that has set the bar so high in terms of storytelling, images and sound in overlanding. I love all your series, but I was looking forward to this one the most. I'm for the next episodes and I can't wait for the next trips! China? Or maybe deep Siberia?

guys... I love everything you've done to date. I truly have. The Pan American series got me hooked and i rewatch it often. Can't wait to binge the entire Africa series in years to come.
But I feel that Australia got horribly short-changed in your brief visit here. You were here for like 2-3 weeks. Partnered up with the Patriot guys and drove (with them, in their vehicles) to the geographical centre. ummm yay? I guess.
Howsabout the iconic Australian places like Cape York, the remote Gulf, the Kimberly, The Canning, Vic high country, Big Rivers area, Pilbara, The West Coast, South Australia (yeh... all of it) and soooo much more.
I think we deserve a re-visit.
