JURY DUTY SCAMMER CALLS POLICE OFFICER

Scammers are constantly developing schemes to convince unknowing victims to pay up. Now, law enforcement agencies are warning about a missed jury duty scam, with callers identifying themselves as officers and threatening victims with jail time.
Unfortunately for one scammer, he unknowingly targeted a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
