On June 23, 2022, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration in West Salem, WI. Upon approach, the driver would not identify himself. When he was asked to step out of the vehicle, he put it in drive and took off from the traffic stop. Weeks later, the suspect had a visitor and instantly regretted answering the door.

They literally just lied to the guy and manipulated him into giving up information. SMH. This just shows that they should have a how to deal with the police video for every state. All this trouble bc the car had an expired tag. This isn't heroic or worth celebrating. It just shows that police will lie and be manipulative in a situation if it benefits them and most people are not taught how to deal with that. Talk to any criminal defense lawyer and the first thing they'll say is don't trust anything a police officer tells you.

@@chrisbungenstock8552it’s called a diffusion tactic… by being friendly and seeming harmless and like they were just there to help him, they managed to close the distance between him and them down that long hall. Had they came at him aggressively, he would have likely just ran back in and locked the door again, potentially arming himself with a gun or knife etc. This was an excellent arrest… zero violence required, done by an officer who’s quick and charismatic with his tongue. But don’t get it twisted, the police are never there to help you and just use this tactic to get people feeling comfortable so they admit to the crimes, and it’s an easy open and shut case for the officers. Quick and easy arrest.
What is it with all these nonsense robot like comments using the word astounding? It’s so pathetic what mindless sheep will do for likes.
Why does he think it’s going to go away? He is 29 with the mentality of a 10 year old. It’s insane how many adults in this country can’t just live honest lives and abide by the law. It isn’t that hard!
Once again...Kudos to the cops for great police work. The calm and patience displayed is commendable. 👏🏿💯
These cops are incredible and very patient. This is the training we asked for. Cool, calm, and collected police officers.
I know, right?!? They need to be praised and held up as the standard
The cops just don't want to give yet another black dirtbag the excuse to turn himself into a martyr.
@@ug333 Praised? For doing their job? lol
@@357pghguero yes. arent you glad when somebody says to you thank you for your work?
Amen, amen. God thos guy was frustrating, but this is what I want to see put of cops. I get that ACAB means the systems and laws aren't right, but we still need cops, and we need good, well-trained, empathetic cops.
This man does not fear for his life nearly as much as he fears facing the consequences of his actions.
Yeah, the cops never scared me, it was always the charges I knew were on the way. lol
He wasn’t scared when he was committing the crimes

This level of professionalism is beneficial for the suspect as well as the cops. Nobody wants any extra paperwork or hassle….
I’m really impressed with how kind and compassionate they were with him being that scared. They did very well trying to reassure him.
He was playing them and they fell for it. You know why? Because of the BLM SCAM. This piece of garbage was charged with "child enticement"! Do you KNOW what that means?
I feel bad for the mother having to deal with this dude’s behavior. The officers did an amazing job de-escalating the situation.

These officers are extremely professional and considerate of the environment. This was good police work
Top notch. They convinced him that he would be safe, and that he had no choice to being arrested.
No, it’s stupendous. They went far, FAR above and beyond. What pisses me off is that this elite-level police response is now going to be considered to be what is expected.
This should be an example of what professionalism really is.
It ridiculous, idiot should comply or gee not do illegal shit.
No such thing
He got lucky to be assigned to these officers. They are angels and gave him so much respect ❤
I hardly ever comment on these but I gotta say these was the most respectful professional and patient cops I ever seen 🙏🏾💪🏾
Someone apparently incorrectly told a bunch of people that saying “I’m scared for my life” gets them out of trouble for making poor decisions.
But could he breathe?
It's part of their "culture"
The replies are insane 💀💀
Or it makes some people do irrational stuff ?
🤣😂🤣😂🤣👍 Jail house lawyers
I am always astounded at the fact that these people NEVER seem to grasp the connection between past actions and future consequences.
The guy is obviously slow. The officers quickly noticed it and handled the situation well.
medulla oblongata
They are like children. Notice he didn't want to call his father. He called his mom. Single parent homes are the single biggest problem for the black community.
It's not so much that he can't grasp the consequences. He just knows he doesn't want to accept them. He can play dumb all day, we all know he knows exactly why the cops are there.
@Michael Smith Dont put that on all blacks. That's an individual thing
I like how the tough guy is on the phone with his mommy rather than facing the police like a man.
Sources say Devonta is still so scared for his life right now.
You can’t be scared to go to jail if you’re out here doing things that can put you there🤷🏽♀️
Because they don’t think they’re gonna get caught..
They are never prepared for those kind of things just expect things to be the same forever
ARE out to get you.
If smoking pot puts you in jail you have reason to be pissed just as they have reason to put you there. However, the reason he's saying he's afraid for his life is because once you belong to the police you are mentally and emotionally abused, starved, your rights are stolen from you by your public defender, and they intimidate you as much as possible to make you agree to anything they say just to get away from the negativity that they thrive in. Be afraid of the police, most of them ARE out to trap you in as much legal retardation as possible.
@@AR-24 it’s funny because the guy knows what he did, he knows he ran from the cops and still asks if they are going to take him to jail? Nah bro we are here to tell you what an awesome job you did getting away from us 😂
The professionalism that was displayed by the officer with the yellow bracelet was immensely impressive - great job bud.
Facts we need to applaud and award this type of action in line of duty.
The amount of privilege this criminal showed was astounding. He knows exactly what and why they are there and he's scared for his life .. got it lmao
@Rat Cxnt yes line of duty asshole. The cops had enough merit to rush him kick in the door or whatever and beat his ass for obstruction. Davonta was obviously was terrified of going back to county jail, likely because of abuse he experienced in there. That's why he was stalling and trembling. The police officer was able to recognize that and chose to deescalate and peacefully bring him in. When ur policing adult human beings u gotta treat them with baseline level of respect . criminal or not because everyone is innocent till proven guilty or valid probable cause is presented. They knew davonta had a violent past they could have been physical with him and got the job done quick, but the police officers chose to take their time do the job right. Secure the perimeter, one person gives commands. Listen to what's going on even though Davonta was capping like fuck they still listened treated him like one of their neighbors. They even sparked his cigarette for him.
@@dtcdtc8328 he prolly was having PTSD because he was brutally abused while in county jail. That's why he kept crying please I just left county over and over again. Lol Applaud him for what? His “professionalism”? That’s literally his job!
I mean Does the customers at the grocery applaud you for bagging groceries? 😂😂 you set yourself up for that one! 🤣🤣😂😂
This police officiar, who talked with Devante, managed the whole situation pretty well. I appreciate that
Having to deal with CRIMINALS like this must be excruciatingly stressful.
Even just letting him smoke after this long confrontation is a testament to their kindness. They acknowledge that he’s going through a stressful (even if self induced) time, and let him relax with a cigarette. Props to these amazing officers

He was literally shaking. Fear does crazy things. I think these officers could tell that.
At least the officers were cool with Davonta, even as he kept making stupid decisions because of how scared shitless he was.
i'd be scared to go to jail too if i had charges for child enticement on the go
No he's just scared of getting arrested lol
Incredible work
Thank you officers for treating the individual with respect. You all did the right thing.

Yea I would be a way worse cop. I don't have time for this shit.
