I never break the seal. I was taught by that if you break the seal the receiver can refuse the shipment and who wants that

Seal should be broken at time of "lumping". Driver is checked in, and backed into a door. Then, we break seal, and begin offload.

Wrong driver never breaks the seal the receiver is the only one allowed to break the seal. I don’t care if you have to wait to back in, but you don’t break the seal you tell them to break the seal.

@@rainysunday6186 All the driver has to do at my Americold location is pass the guard shack with an intact seal, matching BOLs, and he's golden. If he breaks it beforehand, then there's a problem.

I work there they are old mines not really caves at all....so no they weren't used during the war they were mined in the 70s

“Don’t break the seal.” What does that mean?

the shipper installs a tamper seal after loading the trailer, looks like a lil metal zip tie with a number stamped in it. If it is not intact upon arrival, then the receiver knows the doors have possibly been opened, maybe some cargo missing or tampered with.
