Sreve, the zig zag neclace with the spiral pendant you made is amazing, I would wear that in a heart beat.

Just have to use the softer wires… I made the mistake of trying to do it with the stiffer wire… it did not come out too well… but, I did have good success using a stiff wire used as a center wire and then Used the soft wires to do the actual braiding…. Turned out quite nice :)

Lol. I made that mistake to start with as well, it hurts your fingers as well

@@SteveMcDonaldCrafting YES!! It was murder on my fingers! I have Rheumatoid arthritis and it’s extremely painful in my left hand and both right and left thumb joints…. So having to grip something tightly can be murder on my hands…

Very similar to the very same process of making viking nit
I like this idea lots now since I do know how to viking nit and I can make as I have already my own kumohimo boards should be a breezy blast
Nice idea very simple and since the two ideas are nearly the same there can be many incorporations of the two techniques
Nice very very nice oh and you can use a thicker guage wire if you wanted to just takes a bit more to working it other to annealing it
    first
    Thank you for sharing

Oh my how neat. I have spent hours in Viking Weave jewerly, just one piece can take a very long time! This is simple and quick for sure. And I love both styles, also figured out the style of adding beads inside.
Are your glass beads lampworked ones?
