    Kevin needs one, along with one of those tiny mini excavators and he could start a company building tiny homes on tiny plots of land. He’d bring new meaning to being a “small” business owner. 😂

    These type of machine was first developed by Dingo and then Kanga loaders in Australia specifically for dropping down opal mine shafts ! They certainly have a place in the workforce. Hire yards love them!

    As you say, I'm impressed with the way it was pushing that topsoil.
    Yes I think you'd be doing yourself a favor by keeping a few in store, with implements to go with them.
    Good job.👍

    I used one of those mini-skid steer a couple years ago while helping a buddy of mine dig out his basement. His house is on a very small lot and access to his backyard where he was installing the storm-cellar stairs, which made getting a traditional skid-steer. We were able to get a mini-excavator into his backyard to dig the majority of the stairway and initial excavation under the house at which point we used the mini-skid-steer to dig out the rest of the basement along with hand digging which we thought was how his basement was going to have to be dug. We used a garden tractor and a trailer to get the dirt out of the basement and around to the front of the yard where it was stockpiled temporarily until a neighbor of his who wanted the dirt (clean fill) hauled it off using his skid-steer and small dump truck daily. Having hand dug several basements I figured the mini-skid-steer saved reduced the time to dig the basement out by 70% or more over hand digging.

    Being down here (Australia) our brand of choice is the Kanga Loader. I used one and they are awesome. The great thing about it you can have a 4 in 1 bucket on it and for size machine it works awesomely.
    I've notice that the Bauma light does not have or sell a 4 in 1 bucket for these machines. Its like once you've used one you'll never go back.
    Just saying.

    • @mikehunt3222
      @mikehunt3222 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      A 4 in 1 bucket for those would be great. It sounds like they’re the kind of company who’d listen to customer suggestions.

    • @gullreefclub
      @gullreefclub ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A 4 in 1 Bucket would be an awesome bucket to have on one of those machines. It would certainly improve productivity of the machine

    • @RangieNZ
      @RangieNZ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The issue with 4-in-1 buckets, is they are weaker for the same weight bucket, or to get the same strength they're quite a lot heavier (- which eats into your load carrrying). The auxillary hydraulics could run it though.

    Nice machine for it's size no doubt, one feature I believe it needs is a safety cable/chain of some sort for people who have disabilities or balance issues. Otherwise I really like that the manufacturers give the customer the choice on what engine/manufacturer which is super cool. With no electronics, computers to worry about and online manuals on how to repair, maintain it they have an excellent machine that will appeal to a lot of people.

    Amazing video! Very impressed with this machine. I dismissed them as being toys but these are land sculpting demons. You cannot do what this does with a sit down skid steer. This machine dots the i's after a skid steer or front loader has combined the letters. You should get a kickback for bringing this type of machine into the light. Kudos man.

    Good Demo for the MINI Skid steer... when I started watching you guys, the track was being torn up with Crown Vics and regroomed with bulldozers... Now you're all running Remote Control battery powered racers and grooming the track with a Baumalight mini skid steer. My how times have changed. Glad you boys kept the spirit of "The Racer" at heart.

    IT looks like a Wright stander mower (which is an awesome machine) with tracks!
    Good idea letting your son demonstrate the machine, even though he's been around and running heavy equipment his entire life, it does lend credibility to the machine's functionality and ease of operation through various tasks!
    It would be an even better demo to show what it could do with the Baumalight Brush Mulcher and the Log Splitters! Am impressed with its power most of all!
    You should also do a demonstration video on the bigger machine and all its capabilities!
    Keep'em Coming! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺

    Defiantly a use for that in small tight places (home builders and landscapers inside farmers barns). If it has your seal of approval it must be OK. May help build a new customer base too not everyone wants or needs big machinery you typically have.

    You forget to mention one other benefit fitness, that little machine really seems to throw you around, you would use muscles you never needed before, cant wait to see Bridget use it, Kevens face when he got on the machine was priceless, even Tucker seemed to be I could use this to build and rebuild my bike track, he would have to get there before his brother though and it can be used all around your grounds for improvements and they wouldn't have to worry about you having to get the big machines in, just a thought, thank you Clinton for another brilliant video, and showing us a new machine, they should lend one to Mike and get Jerries opinion, if you could get him on it that is, he might just look at it and laugh.

    Hey guys 20 year stand up / mini skid steer operator here. I have to say that my machine is the most versitile machine i have ever owned, and would not landscape without one. I orefer it over the tlb type tractors I have owned. Now with the expansion of the size/power of these machines just in the last five years has been mind blowing (and so has the pricing!!!). That being said you must keep them in context. My machine is a older wheel type, so essentially I have a 23 h.p. wheelbarrow that runs 2 pumps and can use forty or so attachments. The savings is in the people and overall labor NOT needed to accomplish many back breaking tasks. The wheeled vs tracks is preference both have +'s & -'s. (You can also get into the Ventrac type machines as well for a different kinda debate !!!) Hope that helps and keep up the great content !!!

    Around me for a Kubota they get $275 per day and $1,375.00 per week to rent one plus $ for any other attachments like auger, trencher, grapple and such. They have a cheaper one(gas Toro Dingo) for $225 per day. The Kubota will cost over $10k more and a Toro Dingo trx427 is a couple grand more and uses a Kohler gas engine. A few years back we rented a larger Vermeer with grapple to move logs from taking down trees. Went with that unit as it didn't tear up the lawn

    I can see how useful one of these could be for home owners with some land -- and for the small business owner.
    A small trailer would haul it behind a pickup and it could be equipped with enough room to haul it and all it's accessories (dirt plow, snow plow, forks, grapple, mulcher, chipper etc... could add a hydraulically operated pressure washer, a generator, a trash pump etc, etc on the trailer and bring them all to remote sites with ease...
