This review sold me during the first 15 seconds of the single player portion. 6:00 "Are you a....god?" "No" "Then you will.....dieeeee" "Then Id like to change my answer" Lmao this game.
+comme le vent The first Two Worlds was so epic. The map and cities were huge! And then Two Worlds 2 came and crushed my expectations with its little islands......
+comme le vent I liked that Two Worlds didn't have enemies that scaled with your character, wander into some areas too early? You'd get your ass kicked.
I know this review was like 5 years ago but I found it funny: "Are you a god?" "Uh, no." "Then die... Who else replied with "Ray. When someone asks if you're a god. You say YES!" xD ((From Ghostbusters by the way))
Two Worlds is one of my most favorite games ever, alongside Skyrim and the Legend of Zelda series. I played it so much with my dad and on my own. It's so open ended and I loved the fact that enemies didn't level with you. But recently I lost my Two Worlds game, so I decided to go to GameStop to try and find it, but instead I found Two Worlds II ! It's definitely way more refined and finished looking than the first game. I love the atmosphere, music, main character, and just the whole game itself. I even love the 'swooshy' camera movements, especially when you sprint. I do have a few problems with the game so far though. Like how confusing it is to try and find your main game objective, how the world is separated via islands, and the bLOOM, IT'S SO BRIGHT AGH
I got this game in a bundle with the first Two Worlds game, Two Worlds Castle Defense, and some other games for only $3. The first game was meh, but I kinda liked it. This game, TW2 is actually pretty good. I like it. For $3, with all expansions (for both games) + some other games, it was a steal.
thaGreenestleaf 04 Yeah got the same thing going to finish base game and go check out pirates looks like other dlc were not included wonder if they did anything to add to that island in the middle that’s easily 50% of the playable area of the game.
@@recur9245 I just picked it up. Playing it on ps3. I'm enjoying it so far. Definitely not a next gen game but I enjoy playing older games here and there. Rpgs are the best.
nah guys if you haven't played it you really should because the game is good and really fun! it has lots of problems and isn't a perfect game but you will have fun especially with the spell system its without a doubt the best thing about it i wasn't sure about this game but after watching this review i gave it a chance and its honestly my fav RPG i loved it more then skyrim call me crazy but i had way more fun playing this game then skyrim. so if you haven't played it try it out you can get it for less then 10 bucks now
I really really loved Two Worlds, i think the item combination system and potion creation system were revolutionary. So instead of buying stronger items that cost so much, you can buy weaker ones or find weaker ones to combine, so you can go get the money to get more stuff. I played it all the way through twice to get the other ending. I can't really pick it up anymore and play it, seeing as i finally understoof how framerate affects gaming so much. Other than the frame rate, the game was amazing. I don't remember sitting through a loading screen at all. Although i really can't get in to this game very much, bleh..
I finally bought this game a week ago and I'm having a blast with it. I am one of the few I guess that actually enjoyed the first Two Worlds. I'm being completely honest here, I'm having more fun with Two Worlds II then I've had with Skyrim. This game is solid and one of my personally favorite games.
Shaded Gamer yeah, i skipped it :) saving up those little paypal cashies for some wicked deal.... like that Tomb Raider deal last week.... all games 80% off (all games were 15 bucks in total!!!) crrrrrazy
I loved this game. I spent hours at the tutorial island sniping goblins from the top of the hill and exploring everything, and it was just the beggining
Some of the lines were pretty good, like when your character has to do the college lecture, "I am here to talk about one of the worlds greatest natural animals... and this is why I had to kill it." I burst out laughing when I heard that.
I played Two Worlds 1 on PC... never had a framerate issue... I actually found it very smooth... not a master race thing but I really enjoyed the story and the game was not bad at all... maybe it was the xbox version. IMO
I had the benefit of playing Two Worlds 1 on the pc after the huge content update and enjoyed it immensely. For some reason I didn't get the same enjoyment from the sequel because of all the content that was chopped out purely for multiplayer.
Joe is actually adore to this franchise because he is waited for a very long time for the RPG to be redefined as it best and more better gameplay. but for Projared, he is disgust and angry for the franchise to be hurtful, and for the review, he review both TW and TW2 with reasons and took too many question marks. i think that Projared's review is more honest than Angryjoe because in one thing, he dont even pick easy and common targets to be up worse.
think of the story mode for both games, its very questionable! that projared finished the most than angryjoe because angryjoe (maybe) cannot finished the first game.
It has been confirmed by developer they are working on Two World 3 right now, they were planning to release it back in 2012, by It's delayed, still in development right now, probably moving to next-gen I guess
I love how literaly every Franchise and Game series that's ever been released is one of Joe's Favorite Franchises or game series. Literally everything lol. Total War is one of he's favorite franchises, Aliens, Dragon Age, all the super heroes games, Terminator, The Elder Scrolls, Civilization, Deus Ex, Hitman etc, literally any game that has more than one game, EVER. Is one of Joe's favoite Franchises... Mount and Blade... lol.
It's the matter of three years later they add in micro transactions which now is justification for any corporation to at any point put them in to games
Matthew T I played it, and liked it. Like angry joe says, there are a few things that this developer did that are surprisingly creative and fun. I personally liked the voice acting. I never finished because the last area looked so bad, but for 15$ I'd give it a shot. Creative quests, fun combat, and a beautiful world are the main things I'd point to as positives.
I'm surprised he didn't mention some of the terrible control mappings. For some reason, they mapped the function to draw your weapon to Down on the D-pad, rather than a button that's easy to press, like X, which they mapped the map to, or Y, which they mapped the Quest Log to. Even worse, they mapped Sprint, Sneak AND Block to THE SAME BUTTON (Left Trigger).
After just finishing the game, I totally agree with him, after its problems the game stills being very fun, because its core mechanics are good and well implemented (Actually I think it probably has the best core mechanics of the ARPG games which appeared in the last gen), it is just fun to play, you know, it is like those old cars that are more reliable than a new "boutique" car for long travels. For me, its problems, aside from making me laugh at moments, didn't ruined the experience for me, even the story (which is not bad, just average, not really epic or full drama/suspense ) with its cheesiness is fun. Another thing I found really amazing, was the amount of books on the game and the fact that most of them talk about certain citiy's story, I enjoyed Tir Geal's story, and the dairies of their majors, but most of the books are really usefull in a technical ways. As an off-topic, I think they have even patented their magic and crafting system of the game.
I fucking loved the first Two Worlds on the xbox 360. I beat it and i loved the environment sounds and weather effects especially the sound of when it downpours with a thunder storm.
Damn it, each of Joe's reviews feels like... an adventure of some sorts, it is so fulfilling and exciting, I actually enjoy them more than most games :P
I got both of the Two Worlds games used for cheap. I just went to play the first one and gave up after about 20 minutes, now I'm on the fence about this one. Hopefully this video can help me decide.
I agree with everything said on this review. I know there is a lot of Skyrim is better fist waving going on in the comments, but Skyrim's vanilla magic system was abysmal. I gave away my 360 copy when I saw how bad they fucked up magic when ES games made me like magic. I did later buy it on PC and found mods to mostly fix the magic system. Then TW2 comes in and makes magic badass and limited to only your imagination. I wish the next ES game would have this kind of magic system. Then I think I would have almost all of the elements I want in an open world rpg. Overall I do enjoy Skyrim more, but I pretty much was just a mage the entire time on this game. If I could just get Skyrim's open world & char development, Two Worlds 2' s magic system, a hybrid of Dragon Age Inquisition & Fantasy Life's crafting and gathering system, and a dash of Monster Hunter and Dragon's Dogma for giant bosses and epic large monster hunts I could never worry about playing another game till it had a sequel.
Well we shared very similar opinions on Dragons Dogma, so I'm trying to decide whether I should pick up Kingdoms of Amalur first or Two Worlds 2 first.
FlashGamer1Fable The combat in Kingdoms of Amalur is probably one of the best combat systems I've seen in a long time. Lots of customization and the secondary weapon idea was fantastic as it added amazing depth to things such as combos!
got to give props to the writer of the main protagonist his smack talk is pretty funny in the game, but the actor annoys me. i didn't play it that much on the console but what really turned me off is the graphical engine. i had frame rate issues in the first 5 minutes and very glitchy transitions from one cutscene to the next. maybe next time I'll play it on PC.
I had lots of hours on both Skyrim and Two Worlds 2. To be fair, without the huge modding community Skyrim would just be an RPG with clunky combat system and simplistic magic system. One that you can beat its hardest difficulty just by right clicking. Two Worlds 2 on the other hand, the PC version has none of the Xbox bugs mentioned, a challenging combat system, creative magic system. You know what else? I got Two Worlds 2 for under 5 dollars in a recent sale. I could see the potential of one of the best open world RPG if only 2W 2 has gotten a sizeable budget to work with, polishing story writing and voice acting.
The're remaking the game's engine and adding new multiplayer and singleplayer DLC. It's on sale right now if you want to pick it up cheap before that happens (hopefully you get the upgrade for free or for a heavily reduced price).
Buying this game on steam for like 5 bucks since its on sale. I think ProJared ruined a lot of people's opinion of this game and I'd respect they're opinion..if only it were their own. So instead of being one more idiot saying "Skyrim is better" or "Controls suck", Im going to buy and play this game despite its small flaws. P.S. Skyrim is probably one of the most overrated games of all time.
Overrated is such a poor word to use, especially when it comes to games. You cannot overrate a video game. If a lot of people like it, a lot of people like it, that's all there is to it. It's the fact that you most likely do not enjoy the game, nor the praise it receives, and you are claiming that your taste is of a higher standard than those enjoying the game you're claiming to be overrated. It's a meaningless word to make yourself more opinionated than others. You think just because you don't like a certain game you can call it overrated because a majority of people love the game. It's an empty criticism that provides no meaning.
Sh0ckw4ve100 Nah, I think it DOES have meaning as an opinion. I simply think "Skyrim" was "overrated" because people were just hype for another elder scrolls game. The next "Elder Scrolls" installment is already overrated due to the love and respect "Skyrim' has gotten over the years. Its overrated because the series as a whole is good but not nearly as good as nostalgia would make it seem, people freak out and go crazy over it because they remember how good it felt to explore "Morrrowind" back when it first released so those memories kind of cloud their judgement and make their review of its sequels "Oblivion" and "Skyrim" a bit biased. Its okay though I mean I do the same when it comes to "The Legend of Zelda". My point is that for "Skyrim" or any other modern installment of what people perceive to be a classic series will by default get love and respect BUT I will say that "Skyrim" had to do something right to maintain said love and respect as we all know what happened when "Duke Nukem Forever" tried to do the same. THAT'S what I meant by it being "overrarted" lol you had a nice intelligent reply though so good talk!
Sh0ckw4ve100 Think of it like this, hype for a game is like a boost for the games launch. Sometimes the boost helps a good game (Skyrim) and at that point its a good game PLUS all the hype that was applied before the game was even seen (usually due to massive fans knowing the lore and catching all the little references in announcements). But other times hype boost is applied to a bad game (Duke Nukem Forever) causing the game to become severely underrated, not being underrated doesnt mean a game is good it just means it doesnt deserve all the hate it got just because it didnt fulfill all the hyped up wet dreams fans had the night it was announced.Just as Skyrim being overrated doesnt mean ita a bad game it just means it deserves respect for being a good game but maybe some of that love for the game came from fans having their wet dreams fulfilled lol causing them to overreact to how good the game is.
Slade Wilson So you're saying a game is overrated because a lot of people are looking forward to it, and whether it's good or not determines if it is then underrated (Duke Nukem)? Then what of the people that say Skyrim is overrated, and that Morrowind is superior? Does that not go against your argument of nostalgia? What I've seen is the opposite effect, where nostalgia clouds their opinions, causing them to believe Skyrim is a bad game. Overrated, as a term in gaming, typically is used as a negative towards a game, when it is not an inherent fault of the game itself. If this is not what you intended to use it for, then I apologize. In hindsight, you don't appear to be using it as a negative criticism of the game, or games in general. I did say it was a poor word to use, since it can cause this confusion, haha. It is nice to actually have been responded to in a clear, friendly way. This is the internet, and that is a rare commodity, indeed :)
I still remember when I've got a chance to meet with the developing team during "local" convention for gamers. I've spend most of the day in their stall, talking, trying the game and contemplating different aspects of the sole process of creation of game. It was obvious they were really trying to make a good and most importantly - unique game. They were painfully aware that they just can't compete with all the big, well-established franchised, even without the bad air left by first instalment. Instead of succumbing to it, they pulled their shit together. They hade this tiny budget and had to decide - try to improve gameplay or try to improve story. A no-brainer for them, as they couldn't find anyone to write them anything. And it shows in the game. But in the meantime they managed to pull open, sand-box world that actively encourage player to explore it. And most importantly, I remember how one of the programmers put it plain and straigh. You are the game character. The aim was for immersion. The character is flat and will remain flat unless you, the player, decide to change that. Of course it didn't worked out as they intended, BUT they were AWARE of that, something that usually never happens for game developers. And all the gimmicks they put into the game were there to be first and foremost unique. First game was (for obvious reasons) unfavourably compared with first Witcher. Both from the same country and since Poland isn't a powerhorse when it comes to churming out games, this was inevetable. And they were aiming for that with first game. In the second they realised they are just can't compete with the big fishes. But instead of pointlessly trying to prove being better, they decided to be different. Now it's the third Witcher that is aiming for sand-box environment and the devs are open that it's because Two Worlds 2 was fun to play and explore the world, while Witcher forced players to finish it fast and didn't even allowed to divert much from the storyline, becoming tiresome to follow mid-way. Now THAT is a success - to force your competition to follow you after you stopped following them.
i know its been a while but two worlds was a great game, the invocations where awesome and to date and i mean 2019 (hope you see this), there has never been a game that has a better inventory system and the horse inventory where you needed to actually position correctly the things to maximize your space was incredible. i remember stopping out of towns do every invocation get in the horse and parade myself for the streets of every town which were so freaking cool, this was a game way ahead of its time, pretty sure if it was remake with todays tech (and done rigth) it would be an awesome game, and i liked both of them, figth me!!!
Liam Sanders PC version looks good and performs way better. Plus comes with the 2 expansions. I am currently re-installing it (never completed it, barely played it) just to experience the hilarious story.
Its 2014 and I am playing it again on the 360 :) that's how much I like it. I never fully played it and I always wanted to be a necromancer so I am doing it.
i can't agree with you on that one, i played 5 hours and i was facepalming, bashing my head against the wall and then taking out the disk and putting it away forever. two worlds 2 however, im really liking it.
The first one is my favorite game of all time. Got it for $10 in like 2008. The second is my third favorite game. The improvement the developers made as far as graphics are concerned is surreal. I've played the first one at least 7 times this one about 4. If they make a three I will buy it for sure
Two worlds 1... Meh it had potential, but it was simply bad and felt half made. I remember the upgrade system where the stats of the weapons and armors bugged, and gave you - dex and strength stats (negative strength, a weapon that weakens you!!!) after you max out them and try to improve them a bit more. But I still enjoyed it more or less. The 2nd game, I actually enjoyed it very much. It's not a fantastic game like Skyrim, but I was lost at the quite good atmosphere, something I only felt in the Gothic games before.
I got this on ps3. It is awesome. There was one stuff up with an unfinished quest, but it's been patched now. Definite better than skyrim. Sorry, but 1 patch and it's fixed vs 20 + patches
***** Because he's not entitled to an opinion opposing yours? Go play Dragon's Dogma or Dark Souls and then come back telling me how you think Skyrim's gameplay is revolutionary. Dragon's Dogma may have its flaws but it does combat and exploration better which effectively places it leagues above Skyrim.
***** If you believe the combat in Skyrim to be realistic, I have a plot on the moon you might be interested in. The only word I have for the combat in Skyrim is cartoonistic. Neither combat itself nor the skills system it is based on bears any resemblance to actual use of the weapons - not the speak of the weapons themselves, which look like someone was using railway tracks hammered into weapon shape by a drunk orc on Skooma. There is pretty much nothing in the vanilla game in Skyrim that would be anywhere remotely resembling realism. Heck, you can swim in the Sea of Ghosts, then waltz over a mountain pass without as much as getting hypothermia when not installing the Frostfall mod. You'd think that for a game set in a partially arctic environment, modelling temperature would be a pretty big deal. But no. Because it's not an open world RPG as people claim, it's simply an FPS hack and slash with some RPG elements set in an eye candy environment. To believe Skyrim is realistic is about like believing the A-Team is a credible depiction of the life of war veterans...
one of the most under rated games on xbox, i tweeted to topwareUSA to ask if there will be any more two worlds games, they said that they are looking at the possibilities, but for now are focusing on horror survival game called Ravens cry, check it out :)
damianslipknot666 ah indeed!! i stand corrected!! Thank you for pointing that out, otherwise i would have got the wrong game! kudos friend, thank you :)
The start is pain in the ass, you basically have to take an hour or maybe less to just farm mobbs to get to a certain point where you can start questing. But after that it`s freakin awesome.
Part one was waaaaay better then 2. It may have had some flaws on the console (i never noticed them), but it had a larger world to explore, more stuff to do. and even the silly dialoge was actually pretty funny. Part 2 is ok but its not really open world when the biggest landmass is largely blocked of by invisible walls. Part one also gave you freedom to go wherever you want from the start where part 2 you are stuck on an island for half the game. i would give part one a 8/10 and 2 a 6/10.
I have been wondering, besides not buying a new console every few years, having a physical copy of the game, or having better graphics (which I find a pointless argument), what does the PC have over console?
***** it has everything there is nothing bette ron console. You get better control with fully customizable mouse and keyboard, better sound, better servers, more players in match, more content, cheaper games, mods, plus its YOURS. you make your pc exactly how you want.
Max Wright There is only one benefit of consoles and that's local co-op. I have a Xbox one for halo and madden and stuff, if developers were not so lazy and put these games on pc with 4 player support consoles would have zero meaning in life.
There's plenty of local co op on pc, many people just play pc on a small monitor though. You can play FIFA, NBA, many side scrolled like trine or castle crashers, left 4 dead, the list goes on. Personally when I have friends over who want to play a quick and fun game, either I use my wii u (perfect party system) or I stream my pc games to my tv and use a few ds4 controllers.
Green Knight Are those the only benefits you can think of? Here, let me help add to that list. 1) Consoles are cheaper 2) Mobility (unless it's a gaming laptop) 3) More gamer's are console users 4) Consoles are more simple Also I think some games are easier to play on consoles, but that's a matter of opinion. Still, i'll end this by saying that both are capable of game-play, thus both of them can fulfill any gamer's desires.
The first Two Worlds was awesome. The simplicity of it, the exploitability (Maliel Shrines, Me, and 7 monsters; if you played it, you know what I mean), the lack of constraints, and hilarious old-english were fun. It felt like a 90's game, almost like a third-person, open-world Diablo II, (especially the inventory menus and text) but with less evil stuff. I would crack up every time my dude said "Healing Powers!" But I lost interest after about 8 hours. This second one definitely impressed me, especially compared to the first one.
Really don't get why people love this game. Played it for an hour and hated it. The horse riding is terrible and it has a very cheap look, feel and design.
I got the original for a few dollars and loved it for that price and this one is def worth getting for 4 bux or so but don't pay 30 or anything close grab a used copy or one on sale
Edward Kenway Just because something has dragons in it, doesn't mean it's an automatic Skyrim reference. There are _plenty_ of things that have dragons in them. It could be a reference to a number of things.
I liked this game waayy moore than skyrim, just cause this is an ACTUAL RPG, building your character, distributing points. Thats what i respect the most in RPG, where you can actually build your character, in skyrim its so basic its a downgrade from oblivion and especially morrowind. Also combat in skyrim... its so fucking terrible.
***** And yet I loved the World in Oblivion. The charm and environment of Oblivion, even with the soundtrack, had that old-fashioned quirky magic world feel that you don't get very often. So many games try to be solemn, morbid, or edgy. Oblivion went a completely different direction, and there were a lot of cool things you could discover to do, and that's what kept me playing the game on my 360 for years until I got it on pc and discovered mods. :)
***** I thought Oblivion was better. The only thing that I couldn't stand is how you can't move when encumbered. I'm a pack rat in games especially my 1st character,I like to have everything.
that's arguable. Skyrim took out the "middleman" so to speak by just giving your character points in a particular attribute based on whatever skill you were actually using. I dont think thats wrong. If your using one handed weapons all the time your going to get better at it. If anything thats more realistic. That and the fact that you could always pay for training in certain areas.
Ok, this is pissing me off. I don't think Skyrim is overrated. sure it's got its flaws but I do think it's a 10/10 game, but we're talking about 2 worlds 2 not Skyrim, and therefore should be judged as 2 worlds 2 and not as Skyrim clone #whogivesashit. Now, I've never played 2 worlds 2 but it does seem like a very fun game, especially with the magic system. Basically, judge it for what it is and not for what it should be. I'm sorry but I got tired of hearing people say "Skyrim's overrated" just to try and sound different from the dreaded "Mainstream" But inside, they're just as "mainstream" as everyone else.
Skyrim has several problems I've noticed so in my opinion, it doesn't deserve 10/10, more like 7/10 or 8/10 which is still good. My reasons? 1: VERY little variation in starter magic between races. 2: VERY few types of magic. 3: Nearly all the races have a bonus for nearly all the skill trees. 4: Too many of the races is just a branch of Humanity. And that's just the beginning of my complaints lol.
Sold T2W, for which platform? I bought it about 1 year ago but I had to search for a while to get a new copy. It was worth it though. I love Two Worlds 2.
I SWEAR TO GOD IF I SEE ANOTHER SKYRIMS BETTER COMMENY IM GOING TO FLIP OUT STOP IT WE GET IT YOU LIKE SKYRIM I THINK ITS OVERRATED BUT WHATEVER JUST STOP!!!!!!!!!!!
The Last Dovahkiin It just pisses me off because I hate Skyrim. Also there are way too many fanboys going on to EVERY OTHER RPG REVIEW EVER and being like "OMG this game sucks play Skyrim it's way better." then I'm like "OMG SHUT THE FUCK UP WE GET IT YOU LIKE WE GET IT FANBOYS WE GET IT YOU LIKE SKYRIM GOD IT'S 2015 AND IT STILL HAPPENS WE FUCKING GET IT!!!!"
It's 2017 and they just added Microtransactions to the PC edition. Jim Sterling did a video on this. Again 2017, Microtransactions, Two Worlds II.
It's the publisher. The dev team filed bankruptcy before you wrote this. Btw, hi from 2020! :)

Tattoogroo Same here! I loved Two Worlds and TW2, and also Pirates Of The Flying Fortress (expansion for TW2, look it up).
+Tattoogroo when I was younger I played the first one for hours until I gave up on the key maze
+Tattoogroo Why does everyone compare every rpg to skyrim im so tired of it
how long is this game?
Long enough.
that $2.50 steam sale though
+Lachie McDonald ha! i've also just seen it and that's why i'm here checking out reviews! Still doubting though....
Shaded Gamer yeah, i skipped it :) saving up those little paypal cashies for some wicked deal.... like that Tomb Raider deal last week.... all games 80% off (all games were 15 bucks in total!!!) crrrrrazy
+Pg TrAxX id rather buy two worlds 2
+SA7AN this IS about Two Worlds 2 : )
(II is 2 in Romanian numbers).
***** wat
I loved this game. I spent hours at the tutorial island sniping goblins from the top of the hill and exploring everything, and it was just the beggining
"I have no idea how people reviewed so fast."
Easy, just don't play it much. Why else do the games with low replay value get such high scores?
Some of the lines were pretty good, like when your character has to do the college lecture, "I am here to talk about one of the worlds greatest natural animals... and this is why I had to kill it." I burst out laughing when I heard that.
I played Two Worlds 1 on PC... never had a framerate issue... I actually found it very smooth... not a master race thing but I really enjoyed the story and the game was not bad at all... maybe it was the xbox version. IMO
I busted out laughing at the "...I don't have time for this bullshit" haha.
I had the benefit of playing Two Worlds 1 on the pc after the huge content update and enjoyed it immensely. For some reason I didn't get the same enjoyment from the sequel because of all the content that was chopped out purely for multiplayer.
Anybody came here after ProJared's video?
I watched this first then watched ProJared's review.
Joe's. ProJared just focused on bad stuff, not the good ones..
TV Tropes here
Joe is actually adore to this franchise because he is waited for a very long time for the RPG to be redefined as it best and more better gameplay.
but for Projared, he is disgust and angry for the franchise to be hurtful, and for the review, he review both TW and TW2 with reasons and took too many question marks.
i think that Projared's review is more honest than Angryjoe because in one thing, he dont even pick easy and common targets to be up worse.
think of the story mode for both games, its very questionable! that projared finished the most than angryjoe because angryjoe (maybe) cannot finished the first game.
I wonder if its worth getting this game for the PC.
any game is more worth it on pc..
im playing it atm, and i felt in love with it!
*****
Your game library clearly consists of Aliens: Colonial Marines, Terminator Salvation and E.T
Lavantz Zaner
E.T is a bit harsh dont you think.
***** you just shit on yourself lmao
TW2 deserved to be a big seller.
i want them to make a two worlds 3
It has been confirmed by developer
they are working on Two World 3 right now, they were planning to release it back in 2012, by It's delayed, still in development right now, probably moving to next-gen I guess
DmC Dante i think it is going to be amazing on next gen consoles
This comment section so Old
It will in 2022 or 2023
this comment section is like a little time capsule of disappointment
I couldn't take this game seriously
I love watching old Joe circa 2010-11
This would have been one of my favorite games if it didn't run like crap on the ps3.
Mount and Blade... lol.
The combat looks stupid though. Although by now, I only like Dragon's Dogma and Kingdoms of Amalur's combat...
+φ First-order logic KoA's combat was my favorite among any RPG i've ever played. Combined with the fate system, I felt like a demi-god.
Hmmm maybe the PC port is shit but it feels unresponsive and I always roll late when I don't have that problem with any other game
+φ First-order logic the pc port was great
+φ First-order logic Those were so underrated, i actually thought the combat system for those two games far surpassed any of the witcher games, imo.
I still like The Witcher, but yeah, agreed
You know its so old when max resolution is 360p
Two Worlds II: Velvet Edition is on sale for $3.49 on Steam!!!
I came back to mention that the pc version now has Mico Transactions........
It's the matter of three years later they add in micro transactions which now is justification for any corporation to at any point put them in to games
sidewysgamer Cheats basically.
They now took them off
one thing i really like in this game is that have the option to see your damage in numbers, it's really good to see how much you charecter improved
Is this game worth a buy in 2015?
I love rpg's and this one is like $15 for PS3.
Matthew T I played it, and liked it. Like angry joe says, there are a few things that this developer did that are surprisingly creative and fun. I personally liked the voice acting. I never finished because the last area looked so bad, but for 15$ I'd give it a shot. Creative quests, fun combat, and a beautiful world are the main things I'd point to as positives.
james owens thanks man, I picked it up alongside Dragons Dogma. The only thing I don't like thus far is the frame rate.
hope the devs saw this review, it will make them smile
As an off-topic, I think they have even patented their magic and crafting system of the game.
the magic system is amazing developers of RPG's worldwide need to take a page from this. I've never seen a better, or more creative system.
So this game has a singleplayer campaign and a small, neutered co-op campaign separate?
bingo
I fucking loved the first Two Worlds on the xbox 360. I beat it and i loved the environment sounds and weather effects especially the sound of when it downpours with a thunder storm.
Damn it, each of Joe's reviews feels like... an adventure of some sorts, it is so fulfilling and exciting, I actually enjoy them more than most games :P
I allways gott to a point where i was supposed to talk with a girl in her appartment but i never could get in the house because of some weird glitch
Also, I believe you get in from the roof for that quest, I remember it being a pain.
*****
but good one
*****
haha *rekt*
The same thing happened to me in Skyrim
Apparently a sequel to this game was announced in march of 2016 and might have a release date for 2019
Ikr, I'm so pumped. Hopefully things go smoothly for the developers and the game doesn't go through development hell.
Still waiting
From the future, nothing yet.
2020 here.... Still no TW3
@@Bulletproof_Trump u have tw3
The withcer 3
This combined with skyrim would be so amazing
joshua hurst But it's an alternative. Nothing wrong with some variety.
People are still active in Multiplayer in this game, thats amazing! ^-^
Not anymore
Rip
I agree. The best magic system ever. Innovative and personalizable. Summoning is especially AWESOME. Even better than ES.
Sometimes i dislike joe but sometimes i like him. He gave this game a fair chance and didn't bash it unfairly like ProJared
Projared usually start by bashing it and near the end he tells what he likes
Such an underrated gem. Although the blocking and sprinting being on the same button is terrible.
I dont know if i like the Projared review better or the AngryJoe one
same with me i dont know witch one is right
Maybe play the game yourself, then?
RakensenFlame
the game is crap why would i play it
Roba Dop no doors right there
Roba Dop
Wanna go to prison?
I have £2 left on steam so gonna give it a try.
Two Worlds Collection 7.99 on steam SOLD!
G2A random premium key.. €0.99 lol
Why the fuck you using G2A?
Why not? And why so hostile..?
SAME!!! I AM SO SATISFIED!!!
I just bought the bundle 1 and 2 and some DLC shit for $3.99 on steam came to see if it was worth it lol
+Preston Garvey Well, you should buy from somewhere that actually helps the developers as well.
Same score as Kindoms of Amalur Reckoning? No way. KOAR is at least a 9. Maybe I will let this game slip by as a 7 though.
Well we shared very similar opinions on Dragons Dogma, so I'm trying to decide whether I should pick up Kingdoms of Amalur first or Two Worlds 2 first.
Kingdoms is a Fable clone with a bigger world map.....two worlds 2 is more like skyrim with a risen feel.
Didn't really love kingdoms of amalur
I dont mind fable, amalur just seemed extremely uninspired. Tons of quests, 95% were pointless.
FlashGamer1Fable The combat in Kingdoms of Amalur is probably one of the best combat systems I've seen in a long time. Lots of customization and the secondary weapon idea was fantastic as it added amazing depth to things such as combos!
What? What was I doing wrong, the secondary weapon and primary attacks were completely dissociated..
got to give props to the writer of the main protagonist his smack talk is pretty funny in the game, but the actor annoys me. i didn't play it that much on the console but what really turned me off is the graphical engine. i had frame rate issues in the first 5 minutes and very glitchy transitions from one cutscene to the next. maybe next time I'll play it on PC.
I could see the potential of one of the best open world RPG if only 2W 2 has gotten a sizeable budget to work with, polishing story writing and voice acting.
hồng hà vũ i think i agree with your assessment
Sh0ckw4ve100
Nah, I think it DOES have meaning as an opinion.
Sh0ckw4ve100
Think of it like this, hype for a game is like a boost for the games launch.
***** Thanks man I didn't realize I had done that lol silly me.
I liked the first two worlds tbh. o-o
same i know it was buggy just it was addicting
Liam Sanders PC version looks good and performs way better. Plus comes with the 2 expansions. I am currently re-installing it (never completed it, barely played it) just to experience the hilarious story.
If the frame rate didn't suck balls it would probably be okay, but on consoles it was just dirty to not be able to fight and not skip every 2 seconds.
Can't wait for Two Worlds 3!
***** Maybe they could actually implement a second world this time.
I hate that there are 3 Risen games and this only got 2. Two Worlds is a much better franchise than that shitty game.
Holyflame yeah..
actually, risen 1 is the best game in the series, it has very nice rpg old school feel============
Nighty Core but the other two werent
Gothic 4 great game
I personally liked two worlds one
- Two Worlds 2:
Metascore: 75/100.
Userscore: 6.9/10.
Am I the only one that thinks that the day times were WAY TOO DAMN BRIGHT!?
I got this on ps3. It is awesome. There was one stuff up with an unfinished quest, but it's been patched now. Definite better than skyrim. Sorry, but 1 patch and it's fixed vs 20 + patches
dude, skyrim is way better.
You may think that way, but in the end i still think that this game is better
Mrminecraftman86 In your opinion. I found Skyrim rubbish.
You can get it on disc for 10 bucks or 20 for the goty edition on amazon.
I love this game and it's definitely one of my fav games.
Holy shit you were so much skinnier back in 2011 lol
One of my favourite things in this game was the musical buskers in the towns. And you could play a guitar and the songs were simple but so relaxing.
one of the most under rated games on xbox, i tweeted to topwareUSA to ask if there will be any more two worlds games, they said that they are looking at the possibilities, but for now are focusing on horror survival game called Ravens cry, check it out :)
the horror survival game of reality pump is call sacrilegium, raven's cry is a pirates game
damianslipknot666 ah indeed!! i stand corrected!! Thank you for pointing that out, otherwise i would have got the wrong game! kudos friend, thank you :)
***** hive five man
Rashad Fleming thanks man, high five to you too XD haha
Ah, who's watching this in 2020
Watching in 2024 actually 😂
Why does joe play his games on the xbox? almost every game is best on the pc, ones like this are way better.
1) Consoles are cheaper
2) Mobility (unless it's a gaming laptop)
3) More gamer's are console users
4) Consoles are more simple
Also I think some games are easier to play on consoles, but that's a matter of opinion.
Still, i'll end this by saying that both are capable of game-play, thus both of them can fulfill any gamer's desires.
"Worldmerge" mod is must get for Two Worlds 2. It makes the game much better and larger too, it fix broken melee combat too.
Joe, so now it's got Micro Transactions does this game go up to an 8/10
or
Does this game earn your "Gone F**ked it Up" badge of shame?
You ask a hypocrite to give a critical answer? He will give it a bad ass seal of approval...
Damn Joe wasn't fat back then
The first Two Worlds was awesome.
I loved the first 5 minutes. Hard warriors ftw
Really don't get why people love this game. Played it for an hour and hated it. The horse riding is terrible and it has a very cheap look, feel and design.
+TerrionGaming It also looks really, really blurry on my TV. It's annoying.
if you dont like the horse riding in two Word 2 dont try two Word 1it's more bad ^^
WHat was he referring to in "4 HOURS"?
Kane and lynch 2
ah, ok. Shit's funny.
Homefront too
Modern gaming in general
ImpGuardsman nope skyrim is really long . . . . and flappy Bird too
Projared already convinced me its not all that great, but i agree its an improvement from the first.
What The hell.. I was sure I saw all of his reviews 🤔
still better than Gothic 4
I got the original for a few dollars and loved it for that price and this one is def worth getting for 4 bux or so but don't pay 30 or anything close grab a used copy or one on sale
8:03 Dat Skyrim reference in the backround!
thats pretty cool considering skyrim only came out 8 months after this video was published...
Connor Van Graan You know that there were trailers for Skyrim, right?
Fair enough, I just don't think it's a reference.
Edward Kenway Just because something has dragons in it, doesn't mean it's an automatic Skyrim reference. There are _plenty_ of things that have dragons in them. It could be a reference to a number of things.
***** The final boss is a dragon(The only dragon in the game), hence why he wants more dragons.
Oblivion has the worst, most counter intuitive leveling system of any RPG ever made.
*****
And yet I loved the World in Oblivion. :)
Yep, you build everything except for the main character's personality, who speaks like an annoying hollywod action movie hero.
Is this backwards comparable for Xbox 1?
you gave this a 7/10 as well as dragons dogma, dragons dogma is a way better rpg it deserves more than a 7/10
Ok, this is pissing me off.
Not all imperials are Nords and ya, Humans make up about 60% of the playable races which are more ethnicities than anything.
S0pecies is more accurate...species of Human and also, I was exaggerating lol.
Vanilla Skyrim absolutely does not deserve 10/10. Too many bugs.
Sold T2W, for which platform?
I bought it about 1 year ago but I had to search for a while to get a new copy. It was worth it though. I love Two Worlds 2.

The Last Dovahkiin It just pisses me off because I hate Skyrim. Also there are way too many fanboys going on to EVERY OTHER RPG REVIEW EVER and being like "OMG this game sucks play Skyrim it's way better." then I'm like "OMG SHUT THE FUCK UP WE GET IT YOU LIKE WE GET IT FANBOYS WE GET IT YOU LIKE SKYRIM GOD IT'S 2015 AND IT STILL HAPPENS WE FUCKING GET IT!!!!"
stargates96 they say skyrim is better even though both oblivion and morrowind are usually considered to be the best games in the series
